Summary
There are three great balances in the world: The Marines, keeping order. The Emperors, causing chaos. And the Warlords, somewhere inbetween. At least that's what the World Government claims, because they refuse to acknowledge a fourth factor, a woman sitting atop an invisible net of connections, pulling strings to end and save the lives of people like an unpredictable puppeteer looking at the world as if it were her stage. Marines call her the "Black Widow" because her lovers are always quick to bite the dust, but pirates regard her with respect, honoring her as "La Donna". In turn, she takes them under her wing, especially the young and powerless ones that stumble into the Grand Line with no sense for the workings of the world, - in exchange for their services. But for as much as the Grand Line may be the center of the world's happenings, Baratie still remains as one of Donna Aurelia's fiercely protected territories, and a group of inexperienced pirates and an aggressive fishman are about to find out just what consequences her protection has.
