He knew the nerves were from excitement, their first time in front of an audience—one of thousands at that—and he believed in their music, their dances, even though their cohesion was a delicate facade. But his body was still jittery, he wanted to be moving already, the energy was building inside him in preparation, and concentrating on doing up the tiniest of buttons was not a satisfying outlet for it."
