Work Text:

“This is bullshit.”

Life, unquestionably, was unfair. Everyone starts at a different point in life, with both ups and downs which adjust the way their life will turn out. It was utterly random when born into such a situation and no one could say it was biassed. It was just as Aizawa-sensei said.

Still, this in particular felt targeted.

“You’ve been saying that all week, Ashido.” The voice next to her, Kyoka Jiro, sat down next to her in their cafeteria seat. Mina herself, drawn away from her thoughts, was slouched over the table. The whole school was on break and in the cafeteria, eating food, drinking, talking, or in her case, sulking just as she had for the last week.

“You gonna tell us what's been going on with you? You look almost as bad as Uraraka.” Ah yes, Ochako, her sister in sorrow. Mina groaned in annoyance, covering the lower half of her face with her arms as she hugged her head.

“I must say,” Another voice joined them, belonging to one Momo Yaoyorozu. “It wouldn’t have anything to do with Hagakure now, would it? I thought you would have been happier.” The heiress took a seat next to the two, a simply colossal stack of food on her plate. That line of speech though only caused Mina to groan and lean up, turning to face the taller girl.

“Of course, I’m happy for her, she’s visible now, it's great!” Her arms shot into the air as she started getting heated. “And yeah I’m super glad she got the super hot, ‘could snap you in half with his pinky’ future number one hero as a boyfriend.” Her arms dropped to her eyes as her hands pulled down on her cheeks.

As she did, she turned her eyes to see what she’d been staring at for the last five minutes. “But it’s so unfair!”

Two people sat together, laughing as the shorter of the two sat in the large lap of the other. Tooru Hagakure, once the permanently invisible girl now made visible due to a quirk evolution. The second and largest of the two was Izuku Midoriya. Hero of the War and successor to All Might himself. And just as she’s felt since she started seeing the two together, started blushing.

They’re so fucking hot.” Her steamy admission got her other two classmates to look at her, either confused or amused. “Just look at them!” Mina exclaims, throwing a hand away from her face to emphasize it.

She knew Tooru was cute from the moment they met just from personality alone. But now, seeing her? It was like every detail was hand-forged by Kichijoten to try and make her the most beautiful thing on the planet. From her cute little nose, you just felt the urge to boop to her large and expressive eyes with colours like she’s never seen before; a gradient of blue moving upwards to fuse and mix with pink.

A mop of messy hair went down just below her shoulders which shot out in all directions. Her great big smile which always wrinkled her eyes slightly and showed off her perfectly white teeth, all came together to make it feel like her entire face was smiling and kind. Her hair colour alone was incredible; bright lime green broken up by streaks of pink which appeared at seemingly random all the while it seemed to randomly flash completely golden.

And her body, gods. All the girls in the class almost fit a stereotype, but it was like Tooru got the best and left the worst of all worlds. Breasts nearly as large as Momo’s, a plushness like Ochako, an ass both as tight as Kyoka’s but with her size. And legs almost as nice looking as Tsu’s.

She knew all this because she’d lost herself more than once watching her while cleaning up in the shared showers. (She did it again last night, only to be found out and have water splashed into her open mouth playfully by Tooru, thinking she was daydreaming.)

That shower might’ve been wet but she had it rivalled.

Then there was Izuku Midoriya. If Tooru was handcrafted by Kichijoten, then Izuku was forged by her on an anvil. Since his time back at UA, the boy she grew up with has turned into a man. He shot up in height, losing his place as second shortest as he now stood at a significantly taller 6ft. No doubt thanks to the fact he started eating normally again. His face had sharpened as the baby fat on his face finally shed itself off.

Ever since his training started up again, he’d started looking like an All Might that was only made up of 50% muscle, not 100% like the man himself. He still had those adorkable freckles which dotted his face in diamonds. Scars littered his face and his hair had turned partially white from the stress, but it only now made him look more mature. Before his face had only seemed cute to her, but now with them all being eighteen she’s started feeling a whole lot of new feelings. She even got to feel his hair once and it rivalled her own in fluffiness. And his smile, despite everything, was still so wholesome and always made her feel she’d be safe.

And just like Tooru, his body was sculpted from steel. She only saw it once but had gotten an eyeful. She’d wanted to go for some late-night workout only to find someone had gotten the same idea. Clad in nothing but some shorts which were just as small as she wanted them to be and a pair of shoes.

He didn’t notice her for ten minutes, letting her watch from the sidelines as he went through a series of workouts. She would drool just at the memory of watching as he went through several exercises, salivating as the many muscles under his skin shifted and flexed.

And then, AND THEN! The two just went off out of nowhere becoming friends, then best friends, and then fucking Dating! Two of the hottest people in UA, the hero of UA and the woman who dethroned Momo fucking Yaoyorozu as most attractive lady in the school. And the two were dating!

It’s so unfair~ ” She groaned, feeling Jirou pat her on the back in mock sympathy. The rocker looked down at her teasingly, relishing the fact that she got to get revenge.

“There there Pinky, life’s unfair, best get used to it.” Her toothy grin and laughter cause the pink heroine to glare at her.

Seeking relief, Mina turned to the other participant in their conversation, who had stayed silent the whole time. However, her gaze was elsewhere. Following it led Mina back to a couple of her (wet) dreams. Tooru was trying to feed Izuku some kind of squid only to have Izuku try and deny it, which was quickly solved as she suddenly shoved the squid into his mouth.

Shocked, but not wanting to disappoint his girlfriend, still chewed onward. His actions were rewarded as Tooru unleashed a blinding smile and started caressing his cheek lovingly, his hand coming up to meet hers.

Mina had to grab one of the hand towels the table had and bite down on it to give her unending jealousy some kind of outlet. ‘I want to feed and hold them!’ She internally screamed, so enthralled in her mind she was only taken out as Yaoyorozu touched her shoulder. Her attention taken off the lovebirds, Mina faced the ravenette as a book suddenly grew from her hand.

“Perhaps this may give you an outlet for your feelings.” The smile she offered was kind and innocent, which was everything the book was not. Taking the book into her hands though, she turned it over, reading the font on the back.

Moments later, her eyes shot up to look at the heiress, who was still offering that kind smile. All jealousy was forgotten as Mina shot up from the seat and sprinted away, the availability of food all but forgotten.

Kyoka watched the scene in confusion, turning to pose a question. “That was a pretty risky book to give her, wouldn’t it just be a blank book anyways?” Her hand movement followed her speech but Yoyorozu just waved her off as she returned to her food.

“Oh, I wouldn’t worry about that. I’ve got that book memorized back to front. I just make the ink in the right doses and places.” Her admission was followed by her starting to eat the pile of food before her. Jirou looked with even more confusion than before, speaking quietly to herself.

“Why would she have that… memorized…” realization grew along her face as blood rushed to her cheeks. Yaoyorozu, seeing this a few moments later, only smiled warmly.

“Oh don’t worry about that.” She then turned away, hiding the smug grin on her face. “Now, I do believe I wanted us to speak with Todoroki about something important.” He clasped around Kyoka’s limp wrist and pulled the girl along, carrying her already much smaller mountain of food in the other hand.

“I do feel very spurred into action right now.”

Mina raced down the empty halls of UA towards her objective, Gym Alpha. A general-use gym with equipment for powerful quirks.

The book Yaomomo gave her was incredible and gave her such amazing ideas. But as great as they were, she couldn’t do it alone. As much as she’s wanted and lusted over her two crushes, she could never provide herself the support to follow through.

And she knew someone with the same issue. Someone who’s been suffering even worse than she has. Someone who she knew would leap at the chance to get back the chance she lost. And if the last couple of weeks were anything to go off of, Gym Alpha would be exactly where she could find her ace in the hole.

She only hoped the girl would stay calm enough not to faint. Or worse, kill her.

Punch, punch, kick.

Punch, punch, kick.

Punch, punch, uppercut.

Punch, punch, sidekick.

Kick, kick, punch.

Punch, punch, kick.

Her rhythm was perfect, never falling out of sync. She focused solely on the punch bag before her, one made to withstand the force of a strength-enhancing quirk.

Punch, punch, kick.

The gym was empty around her, not another person in sight. Only the deactivated exercise equipment and the burst-open corpses of the punching bags siblings were left.

Punch, punch, kick.

This was the only time she had to herself anymore, at least a time when she didn't need to think. She can just train away, ignorant of everything outside.

Faster this time.

Punch, punch, kick.

Punch, punch, kick.

Punch, punch, kick.

It wasn’t enough, of course, a temporary distraction at best. As much as she tried to forget, she could never escape them. Her failures.

Punch, punch, kick.

Punch, punch, kick.

Punch, punch, kick.

She lost him. It’s a shock it didn’t happen sooner in hindsight. She’s been holding herself back too much. “it will only get in the way” she’d lied to herself. She’d lied and lied.

Punch, punch, kick.

Punch… punch…

Punch…

And she’d lost him, to someone she couldn’t even say didn’t deserve him. Someone who could be honest with her goddamned feelings.

Her fist fell flat against the skin of the punching bag, all energy leaving her body. She stared at her fist, gnarled and bloody from her constant training. Her skin had gotten paler too, it was so hard nowadays to care.

Almost like clockwork, her head turned to the side, once more being met by the large glass mirror that took up most of the space. The woman she’d come to hate stared back at her. Brown eyes were almost fully bloodshot with heavy bags underneath. Her brown hair was sprawled out in all directions, caked with sweat.

There was one word which could describe the one and only Ochako fuckin’ Uraraka right now.

Miserable.

And how the fuck was she supposed to be anything else?

Once more her anger boiled to the surface, her fist hitting the sack once more. After all, she lost the most important thing in the world to her.

His blinding smile was someone else’s to enjoy.
His bright eyes only saw someone else.
His beautiful brain only thought of someone else.
His cute mumbling was only for someone else to hear.
His gentle warmth was for someone else to feel.

Izuku was someone else’s to have .

CRUNCH - snap

Sand exploded from the back of the punching back and her final punch hit with far more strength than intended. The metal chain it hung off snapped at the middle, sending the bag to join its fallen siblings.

Her teeth ground together and a low growl came from her throat. She looked to her side, away from the mirror, only to see that it had been the last. The anger within her drained quickly and she was left alone again. Nothing to even vent to.

Instead, all she was left with was the burning hatred she had for herself. Hatred for the pathetic, sad, sack of cowardice she’d become. Her head drooped, hanging limply as she felt all energy leave her body. She knew it was over. She did.

After all, the two were perfect for each other. Tooru's eccentric nature melded right in with Izuku’s mild manners, creating a duo capable of improving any mood. Their quirks were opposites but when put together let the two pull off stunts the rest of the class couldn’t imagine. Tooru’s inherent curiosity folded perfectly with Izuku’s ability to analyze, making it so no detail escaped the two.

She had to face the facts.

Her head rose to face herself in the mirror, a depressed, yet accepting, expression covering her face. She lost. She lost him to someone perfect for him. She lost her chance…

She just had to move on now… as hard as that might be…

BAM!

The twin doors behind her swung open as a familiar Pinkette held a book over her head.

“Ochako! I know how we can get into Midoriya’s pants!”

!BBAAMM!

Her fist slammed into the reinforced glass wall, shattering the entire mirror.

“How?”

She didn’t die!

It only took an afternoon of explaining her plans for Ochako to come aboard. Now came the hard part, convincing the two sirens she called classmates to accept.

She marched with Ochako in tow through the female half of the dorms. They both knew where the two would be, Hagakure’s room had become a safe room for the couple away from… Mineta . Safe for them at least, it certainly didn’t help the two of them considering they had to see Midoriya in close quarters a lot more often and not act on any emotions.

But now they were ready.

Mina felt like the world was watching her every step, waiting for her big play. She couldn’t help but wonder if this was how big-time heroes felt. But that was a thought for another time! She was on a quest for love, and with her faithful ally she had no chance of losing.

Ochako herself had tidied up very quickly, coming dressed in a set of tights and a t-shirt. She had meanwhile dressed up in only her favourite pair of pyjama shorts and fluffy shirt.

It wasn’t long before the two found their goal, the door to their invisible/not-so-invisible friend's room. Ochako barely had a moment to react before Mina all but lunged for the door. “Mina, wait! Shouldn’t we knock-” Her words of alarm went to deaf ears as the girl swung the unlocked door open!

“Tooru! Izuku! We’re here to seduce you~!”

Her powerful cheer filled the quiet room and gave way for the next sound to break the ensuing silence, a crash from the book dropping from her limb hands.

For before her, was her prize. The room was dark, illuminated by only a faded purple light from the taped-up lights around the corners of Tooru’s roof. Pink everything covered the walls, from her wallpaper to her plushies to her desk and dresser.

But that was not within either of their sights.

One laid upon the bed, half naked save for the pair of boxers woefully attempting to hide their modesty, though his third leg was not having it. He looked at them through a deep blush, ever-increasing as the microseconds passed by. Muscles seemed to stretch the skin in such tempting ways and it practically shined thanks to the light from above.

The other kneeled over her other half. She had two hands pressed onto his chest, sitting just in front of where she’d meet his pelvis, tantalizingly close to a very special place for the both of them. Her hair was slightly pulled back, yet as crazy as ever. But unlike her partner, she had chosen to wear very unique clothing tonight. Just as always her clothing was pink and white. A pink and white maid outfit to be exact, thought to call it an outfit and not lingerie would be an insult to clothing given how it hugged every curve perfectly.

Both stared at the two intruders, shock evident on their faces as both fumbled together, hands flying anywhere to protect their modesty.

Mina could practically feel Ochako’s nose bleed from beside her, or maybe that was her own, it was hard to tell when her eyes couldn’t leave the two deities in front of her.

Only three words were spoken by the two before they launched themselves at the couple, slamming the door behind them with such force that the book brought with them flew out of the room as well as having the lock which had once been forgotten about falling into place.

“Fuck the plan.”

The ensuing sounds of carnal pleasure were meekly muffled by the walls, not nearly thick enough to silence them as a hand came down to pick up the book; ignoring the sounds entirely.

Delicate, manicured hands held the book face up, reading over the title and subtitle she’d become so familiar with.

' Playing the Game of Love. and how to cheat it.' such a good read~” Yaoyorozu playfully tucked the book under her arms. She would give it back to Mina tomorrow, from the sounds of it she’d already skipped most of the first couple of chapters. But that was neither here nor there.

Instead, she focused on leading the two she’d just collected behind her. Kyoka marched like a wooden doll, a black lipstick stain marking her left cheek. Opposite to her on her right was Todoroki, eyes wide with slightly singed and damp clothing, similarly adorning a black lipstick stain on his right cheek.

I’m sure the two of you will agree~
