Chapter Text

Aro, Caius, and Marcus lounged in their grand chamber, loosening their ties and exuding a sense of contentment. The air was filled with the lingering joy of their dinner with Amara, their minds buzzing with thoughts of her infectious laughter and captivating presence.

Aro, with a mischievous glint in his eyes, leaned back casually in his plush armchair. "Amara has cast her spell upon us, brothers. Her laughter, like music, echoed in the halls of our castle."

Caius, always ready for a friendly rivalry, playfully narrowed his eyes. "Ah, but it was my quick wit and sly remarks that had her in stitches. She found my jests irresistible."

Aro arched an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. "Is that so, dear brother? Well then, how about we let Amara decide for herself? Shall we each take her out on separate dates and see who wins her favor?"

Caius's eyes gleamed with determination. "Agreed."

Marcus, ever the quiet observer, chuckled softly. "Oh, my brothers, you are missing the sweetness of the situation. It is not a matter of competition or winning her affections. Amara is our mate, bonded to each of us."

Aro and Caius leaned forward, their gazes fixed on Marcus, curiosity gleaming in their eyes. "You mean she's mated to all three of us?" Aro asked, surprised yet intrigued by the revelation.

Marcus nodded, a knowing smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Indeed, my dear brothers. Our mate is connected to all of us, and it is in that bond we shall find the answers we seek."

Caius grinned mischievously, determined to tease his brothers. "Marcus, you hold the advantage with your powers. Who does Amara connect with the most? Give us a hint."

Marcus shook his head playfully. "Ah, my dear brothers, it is not for me to reveal. Amara's heart will guide her, and it is within her heart that our answer lies."

Aro laughed, enjoying the banter. "Indeed, Marcus, you have a way of keeping us on our toes. We shall patiently await the revelation, allowing Amara's heart to speak its truth."

As they shared laughter and brotherly banter, their conversation soon transitioned to heartfelt concern. Aro couldn't help but remark on Amara's beauty once more, his voice filled with admiration. "Did you see the way she looked tonight? Radiant, captivating. She truly was a vision of elegance and grace."

Caius smirked slyly, his gaze lingering on the memory of Amara's outfit. "Indeed, brother, her dress accentuated her curves perfectly. A sight that could make any immortal weak at the knees."

Marcus interjected, reminding his brothers to appreciate Amara beyond her physical appearance. "Gentlemen, let us not reduce Amara to mere beauty. Yes, she is breathtaking, but her allure lies in her spirit, intellect, and above all, her heart."

Aro and Caius nodded in agreement, humbled by Marcus's wisdom. "You're right, Marcus," Aro conceded. "Amara's beauty is a reflection of her inner light, which shines brighter with each passing moment."

Their conversation took a serious turn as Caius, unable to resist his curiosity, asked Aro about his hesitation in delving into Amara's thoughts. Aro's demeanor shifted, his eyes averting for a moment. "It's not that simple, Caius. While my gift grants me access to others' thoughts, earning Amara's trust is of utmost importance. We must respect her privacy and allow her to share her thoughts willingly."

Caius, realizing his persistence may have been excessive, softened his gaze. "You make a valid point, Aro. Trust should be the foundation, and we must give her the space to confide in us on her own terms."

Marcus smiled, proud of the brothers' growing understanding. They had come to appreciate the importance of patience, trust, and the delicate dance of love. They knew that earning Amara's trust and connection was more important than any insight their extraordinary gifts could provide.

In that moment, the Volturi brothers set aside their initial worries, enveloping themselves in the warmth of fraternity and the understanding that their mate, Amara, would choose her path guided by her heart. And together, they would support and cherish her in the unique bond they shared, forever united as mates.
