Chapter Text

Upon returning to his room, Yoongi promptly entered the bedroom to check on Seokjin, finding the older man still immersed in slumber. Seating himself beside the bed, Yoongi gently rested his hand against Jin’s forehead. To his relief, the fever had completely subsided. As Yoongi extended his touch to hold Seokjin’s hand, the elder quickly withdrew it, his eyes already glaring at Yoongi when they met.

“Hyung, you’re awake! How are you feeling?” Yoongi breathed, his happiness evident despite the disdainful glare he was receiving from the elder. Attempting to reach for Seokjin’s hand again, he was met with a harsh push.

“You must be hungry. I’ll heat up the porridge and bring it to you. Rest up.”

When no response came from Seokjin, Yoongi offered a small smile and exited the room to prepare food. Returning with a tray of porridge and fruit, Yoongi found Seokjin turned away, refusing to acknowledge him. Accepting the silent treatment, Yoongi simply instructed him to eat and take his meds before departing to grant him some space. Days passed in this manner, with Seokjin confined to his bed, ignoring Yoongi's attempts at conversation. Undeterred, Yoongi persisted, engaging in small talk about his day, even though Seokjin's response was nothing more than the silent turn of his back. The food prepared by Yoongi went untouched, and worry began to gnaw at him. Seokjin's deteriorating health, marked by nightly fevers, prompted Yoongi to intervene.

“Hyung, I know you don’t want to see me, and my words have hurt you immensely. I’m truly sorry for my reaction that day. I put my anger first and said things I didn’t mean. You were right to be angry with me, and if it helps, just punch me, hit me, or do whatever you want. But don’t torture yourself. Your fever is worsening, and you need food to recover. Please finish your meals and take your medicine. If you don’t want to see me, I’ll stay out of your sight. You don’t have to talk to me or forgive me, but take care of your health, hyung. I care for you, and I’m scared something might happen if you continue like this. So, please, hyung, don’t skip any more medicines or meals.” Yoongi reached out to touch Seokjin’s back, interpreting the lack of resistance as a positive sign.

“I’ll leave your breakfast here. If you need anything, I’ll be in the next room.” With a bold move, Yoongi left a soft kiss on Jin’s head before exiting the room.

When Yoongi returned with Seokjin’s lunch, he was delighted to see that the breakfast tray was empty and the medicines had been taken. A glimmer of hope burst in his heart when he saw Seokjin sitting up on his bed when he heard Yoongi entering the room. He still didn’t look at him, but the sight of Seokjin reaching for the tray he put in front of him and started taking a hesitant bite was enough for him to internally scream in joy. He felt giddier when Seokjin didn’t ask him to leave when he sat in front of him, watching him finish the lunch he had brought. When Jin was done eating, Yoongi quickly reached for the medicine and gave it to the latter with a glass of water. He couldn’t contain the smile when Seokjin accepted the meds without any objection. He still didn’t talk to Yoongi, but this was still progress.

It went on like that for the next few days, each day Seokjin slowly opening up to Yoongi again. He began to mumble a word of greeting when Yoongi entered and listened to Yoongi talking about his day. Yoongi was more than happy to accept a few words Seokjin directed at him, it was better than receiving an utter silence. Yoongi knew they really needed to sit down and have a talk about that day, but for now he was happy with slowly mending what they once had. Things were going better until a week before their honeymoon was over. Fate didn’t seem to want to see Yoongi happy cause Eun-Jae decided to show up at his doorstep when he was away.

While Seokjin was reading in his bed, slowly regaining his strength, the doorbell rang, signaling an unexpected visitor. Eun-Jae, seizing the moment while Yoongi was away, had decided to pay a visit. Seokjin, thinking it was the room service that he had ordered, answered the door, surprise and sudden anger brewing within him once he saw who was standing at the door smirking at him.

“Can I come in? I need to have a word with you while Yoongi’s away.” Eun-jae said and without waiting for Seokjin’s reply, he invited himself into the room. The two of them sat at the table, and Eun-Jae wasted no time getting straight to the point.

“I want you to leave Yoongi. I know your marriage isn’t really based on love and Yoongi decided to marry because he wanted to hide his feelings for me. I also love him so I need you to stop being selfish and let Yoongi go.”

Seokjin, caught off guard by the abruptness of Eun-Jae's confession, found himself at a loss for words before he quickly schooled his expression.

"I don’t know what you’re talking about. Also, what Yoongi and I do is none of your business."

Eun-Jae, leaning in with a mocking smile retorted, "Oh, but it is. I overheard your little lovers' spat. You're in an arranged marriage, Seokjin-ssi. How can it ever be real?"

"Arranged or not, it's still our marriage. Mind your own business." Seokjin spat, not liking where the conversation was going.

"Do you really think Yoongi likes you? He's probably just putting up with you because he feels bad. He's always been kind, not wanting to hurt others. I’m sure he took care of you well while you were sick, right? Well, he does that to anyone. Just because he showed you some affection doesn’t mean he actually likes you. He will never ask for divorce because that’s the kind of person he is, always putting others before himself.”

Eun-jae said, sowing seeds of doubt in Seokjin’s mind. Insecurities resurfaced and he began to question Yoongi’s action for the past few days. Was it really genuine or was he simply putting up with him because he was his legally wedded husband? Not wanting to show that Eun-jae’s words affected him, Seokjin stood up abruptly.

“You don't know anything about us. Don't pretend like you do. I've had enough of your meddling. Leave before I—"

Before Seokjin could finish his sentence, the room began to spin, and he stumbled, clutching the table for support. Eun-Jae looked at him and rolled his eyes.

“Please, don’t be so dramatic, Seokjin-ssi. I’m not Yoongi, I won’t fall for your pathetic acts. Divorce him while I’m asking nicely.”

"I— I don't need your advice. Just leave. Leave!” Seokjin screamed, anger taking over his body. Trying to distance himself from Eun-Jae, Seokjin took a step back but, in a dizzy haze, collapsed to the floor.

The tension in the room escalated when Yoongi returned at that moment, witnessing the alarming scene of Seokjin sprawled on the floor, unconscious. A surge of protective rage coursed through him, and he wasted no time in physically pushing Eun-Jae away, prioritizing Seokjin's well-being.

"Get the fuck away from him!" Yoongi's voice echoed with a threatening intensity, his glare piercing through Eun-Jae as he cradled Seokjin protectively. The room seemed to shrink with the intensity of Yoongi's anger.

“What did you do to him?” Yoongi interrogated, his tone a dangerous undercurrent as he faced Eun-Jae, demanding an explanation for the disturbing scene before him.

"Nothing! All I did was tell him the truth. He's the reason we can't be together. He's keeping us apart, and I won't watch you stuck in a loveless marriage."

The absurdity of Eun-Jae's claims only fueled Yoongi's anger further. "Are you hearing yourself? Didn’t I make myself clear that I want nothing to do with you? Why are you still obsessed with the idea of us being together, Eun-Jae? I moved on! You should as well.”

“You’re just saying that because you feel sorry for him. Just think clearly for once, Yoongi. We–”

“Enough!” Yoongi's voice cut through the air, the finality in his words palpable. He was astounded by how he had once harbored feelings for someone as manipulative as Eun-Jae.

"I'm never a fan of violence, Eun-Jae," Yoongi's words were delivered with a low growl, his restraint barely containing the anger simmering beneath the surface.

"But if you keep staying here to spew bullshit or continue bothering Seokjin, I don't know what I'll do. So leave when I'm asking nicely. I want nothing to do with you anymore, so leave us alone."

Eun-Jae, sensing the finality in Yoongi's words, studied the closed bedroom door where Yoongi had disappeared with Seokjin. Bitterness settled in his heart as he realized there was no longer a place for him in Yoongi's life. Muttering a spiteful vow under his breath, he turned away, vowing to make Yoongi pay for denying him what he desired.

💍💍💍💍💍

Yoongi watched as Seokjin stirred awake, relief flickering in his eyes. However, when Yoongi tentatively reached for Seokjin's hand to express concern, Seokjin abruptly shook it off.

"Don't act like you care." Seokjin spat, his tone icy cold and Yoongi realized that they were back to square one thanks to Eun-Jae’s visit. As Seokjin sat up on the bed, he spared Yoongi a cutting glance and ordered him to quit the charade of concern.

“Hyung, I don’t know what exactly Eun-Jae said but none of them is true. I genuinely care for you and I—"

“Save it. I'm not interested in your apologies or fake care. People show their true colors when they're angry, and you've made it abundantly clear how you feel about me and my past. Don't think you can just switch it off now because you're being cold toward Eun-Jae. I'm going to sleep in a separate room, and I'd appreciate it if you don't bother me for the rest of the honeymoon. Drown in your work or go to Eun-Jae. I don't care."

Seokjin got off the bed to go to the guest room. Before he left, he added that he couldn't afford a divorce within the first year to maintain his reputation. He instructed Yoongi to wait for at least three years, and after that, they could part ways. With those words, Seokjin left the room, leaving Yoongi staring at the door, helpless and hurt. Desperation etched across his face, Yoongi followed Jin to try to explain himself and apologize, but Seokjin remained resolute, refusing to hear his side of the story. Despite his weakened state, when Seokjin seemed about to stumble, Yoongi reached out to help, but Seokjin forcefully pushed his hand away, intensifying the growing chasm between them.

The next few days were marked by a palpable tension. Yoongi, desperate to mend the growing chasm between him and Seokjin, attempted to engage in conversations, apologize, or offer gestures of kindness. However, Seokjin met all these attempts with cold silence and icy glares. Whenever Yoongi approached, Seokjin's expression would harden, and he would turn away, dismissing Yoongi's presence. The once warm and affectionate interactions were replaced by an uncomfortable silence that seemed to echo the growing distance between them. Seokjin moved about their shared space with a deliberate avoidance, creating an emotional barrier that left Yoongi feeling isolated and regretful. The weight of the unspoken words and unresolved issues hung heavily in the air, casting a shadow over what was supposed to be a joyful honeymoon.

Despite Yoongi's efforts to bridge the gap, Seokjin remained steadfast in his resolve, giving no indication of softening or willingness to engage in any form of reconciliation.
Two days before they returned home in Seoul, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the tranquil island, Yoongi gathered his courage to confront the issue head-on. He approached Seokjin, who was sitting alone on the balcony, staring into the distance.

"Hyung, we need to talk," Yoongi began, his voice laced with sincerity. Seokjin remained silent but didn't dismiss him outright, allowing a glimmer of hope to spark within Yoongi.

"I messed up, and I'm genuinely sorry. I shouldn't have said what I did, especially on our honeymoon. I was stressed, and I took it out on you," Yoongi continued, his eyes reflecting regret.

Seokjin finally turned to look at him, his expression guarded but attentive. Yoongi took a deep breath, trying to convey the depth of his remorse.

"I never meant those words. Eun-Jae meant nothing to me, and I was blind to the situation. I let my anger cloud my judgment, and I hurt you in the process. I already confronted Eun-Jae and told him I want nothing to do with him. I didn’t realize he wouldn’t give up so easily and caused more problems. I want to make things right, hyung," Yoongi pleaded, his vulnerability laid bare.

Seokjin, however, remained silent, assessing Yoongi's words. The air hung heavy with unspoken emotions, and for a moment, the only sound was the gentle rustle of leaves in the evening breeze.

"I understand if you need time. But please, let me make amends. I like you, hyung, and I’m so sorry for all the pain I brought upon you throughout this whole honeymoon. If you would give me a second chance, I’ll make it up to you.” Yoongi confessed, his voice soft and earnest.

Seokjin's gaze softened, but the walls around him seemed unyielding. Without uttering a word, he stood up and walked back into the room, leaving Yoongi standing on the balcony, grappling with the uncertainty of their future. The weight of his own mistakes pressed heavily on him, and he knew that rebuilding what was broken would require more than mere words.

Although Yoongi was disheartened by Seokjin’s indifference, he was determined to win Seokjin’s affection back. He decided to continue showing his sincerity until Seokjin would believe him. At the same time, he would give Seokjin space if that was what he needed.

So once they dived back into their daily routines, Yoongi got swamped up in his work while Seokjin was busy with his new project. He made sure to give Seokjin space but at the same time showing that he cared. Every morning, he would get up earlier than Seokjin and made sure to prepare breakfast for the actor with a cute note stuck to it.

When Seokjin first saw a hearty breakfast laid on the kitchen counter with a hand written note, a warm feeling spread across his heart. It wasn’t anything fancy, just a simple plate of kimbap with egg rolls and a bowl of strawberries.

The note had a cute cat scribbled on it with a message that said: “Good morning, hyung. I hope you have a wonderful day at work. There’s tea in the microwave, you can heat it before drinking. If there’s any assholes acting entitled on the set, just let me know and I’ll take care of them. Don’t skip your meals and drink lots of water.” From- Yoongi :]

A small smile adorned his face when he read the cute message. But then the harsh words thrown at him during their honeymoon resurfaced and he stopped smiling. Seokjin decided to throw the food into the bin, making sure Yoongi would see it when he returned. But he stopped once he pressed down on the bin’s step, his hand hovering above the bin with the plate.

It’s been over a month since he started giving Yoongi cold shoulder and during this time, the latter had put up with his behavior and never pressured him to talk. Yes, Seokjin was mad that Yoongi would utter such a word during their honeymoon especially because of Eun-Jae and also because of his visit at their bungalow while Yoongi was away. He wanted to believe that Yoongi was being sincere with him, but every time he wanted to give in, the little voice in his head would whisper why he shouldn’t trust him. However, Seokjin was sick of living like this. Ignoring someone for a long time especially when they are living together with you is a hard task. So he guessed accepting the food offer wouldn’t be so bad. He didn’t need to be too hostile and throw the food away. It would be such a waste. Nodded to himself, he ate the food and that was how their little interaction had started.

Yoongi was elated when he first got back home to see the breakfast he had left had been eaten. Motivated to win back Seokjin’s attention and heart little by little, he began showering him more with affection. He made sure to leave breakfast everyday, making sure the menu wouldn’t overlap each day paired with a little love note. Not only that, he began to send a bouquet of flowers everyday to Seokjin’s set together with another note attached to it. The notes were quite simple from wishing the actor to have a good day to quoting some lines from his favorite poems.

When the actor came back late, he would find light snacks prepared on the table with a note attached to it. Seokjin didn’t want to admit it but as days progressed he anticipated what Yoongi would prepare for him and couldn’t contain the smile whenever he received a funny note or pretty bouquet at work. All the staff on set would give him a knowing smile whenever a bouquet or a food truck arrived, all of them telling him how lucky he was to have such a sweet husband.

So one day while he was in a better mood, he decided to leave a note for Yoongi as well after eating breakfast. ‘Thanks for the meal. Appreciate it :)’ - Jin. It wasn’t anything profound, but it was a step he decided to take in mending their relationship.

To say Yoongi was overjoyed would be an understatement. He read and reread the note Seokjin left, and couldn't contain the hope bubbling in his chest. Since they got back from their honeymoon, they hadn’t really talked to each other. Yoongi would always initiate to greet the actor if they crossed paths inside their house. Seokjin preferred to stay inside the guest room whenever he was home and wouldn’t come out unless he wanted something from the kitchen.

Hence, receiving a note was an improvement. Things went on like that for a while, both of them communicating with notes. Now, Seokjin also left a note every morning to thank Yoongi and the latter had collected all the notes inside his drawer. As things had been going well, the CEO decided to take a bold move and visit the actor on set. He cleared his schedule for the day and drove off to where Jin was currently filming.

When he arrived, it was already a lunch break so it wasn’t that busy on set. He spotted Seokjin huddled over with his co-actor, discussing the next scene. He looked handsome as he focused on the script and talking animately with his co-star. Yoongi was lost in his thoughts while looking at his husband until the director called out his name.

"Omo, Yoongi-nim! What brings you here?" Director Dong-hae's voice rang out, laced with surprise and enthusiasm. As the one responsible for the film's budget, Yoongi's presence on set was a significant event.

Yoongi greeted him with a small smile, "Nothing really special, Dong-hae-ssi. Just dropping by to say hi to my husband."

Dong-hae's smile widened at the mention of Seokjin. "Ah, you came right on time. We've just taken a lunch break. Seokjin-ssi, you have a special guest here!"

Seokjin, engrossed in discussing the next scene with his co-actor, turned to see who Dong-hae was referring to. His eyes widened in surprise at the sight of Yoongi. For a brief moment, a small smile graced Seokjin's lips before disappearing.

Yoongi approached his husband, a bit awkward and unsure of how Seokjin would react. The set wasn't the usual place for personal visits, especially from someone as significant as the CEO.

"This is for you, hyung," Yoongi said, offering a bouquet of flowers to Seokjin. The actor accepted it with a smile and a muttered thank you. He knew Seokjin was acting friendly because of people around the set, but still it made his heart flutter to see the latter smiling at him.

Seokjin continued chatting with his co-star about their next scene, seemingly ignoring Yoongi. Some of the staff began to whisper, observing the apparent indifference Seokjin displayed towards his husband. However, most of them assumed it was just the actor's way of not showing affection in front of others.

Yoongi, uncertain of how to navigate the situation, decided to sit beside Jin and scroll through his phone. Despite looking at his device, he couldn't help but eavesdrop on Seokjin's conversation with his co-star, Do-yun. Maybe he was being paranoid, but he didn’t like the way Do-yun looked at Seokjin and how he was smirking smugly when he noticed how Seokjin was just talking to him and ignoring Yoongi. Do-yun was a nepo baby. He joined the acting industry and easily landed on lead roles because of his parents who owned a talent agency that had debuted famous actors. So, Yoongi had a right to get annoyed when someone who wasn’t even on the same level as him in capability was getting much more attention from Seokjin than him.

As the day unfolded, Yoongi's bitterness increased when he learned that the next scene would involve a kiss. The thought of watching someone else intimately interact with Seokjin on screen bothered him. When Seokjin asked if he was leaving, Yoongi responded, "Not yet, hyung. I would like to watch, if you don't mind." His words hid the discomfort he felt. Seokjin simply nodded to his answer and walked away to get ready.

The set was buzzing with activity as the crew prepared for the next scene. Seokjin and Do-yun were positioned under soft lights, and the director discussed the details of the upcoming kiss scene. Yoongi discreetly observed, feeling a mixture of curiosity and discomfort.

The director called for action, and the set came to life. Seokjin and Do-yun assumed their positions, ready to perform the scripted kiss. However, as soon as the director uttered the word "action," Do-yun seized the opportunity to deviate from the planned intensity.

He pulled Seokjin closer, his kiss more fervent and demanding than what they had discussed during rehearsals. Seokjin, caught off guard, instinctively pushed Do-yun away, breaking the kiss abruptly. The director called an N/G (No Good), signaling the need for a retake.

Seokjin's eyes darted to Yoongi, attempting to gauge his reaction. Despite the calm exterior Yoongi presented to others, Seokjin could sense the tension in the way he sat upright, fingers tightly gripping his coffee cup. It wasn't lost on Seokjin that Yoongi was growing uncomfortable with each passing moment.

The director, unaware of the underlying dynamics, instructed them for another take. As they prepared for the do-over, Seokjin couldn't shake the feeling that Do-yun was deliberately escalating the intensity of the kiss to provoke a reaction from Yoongi.

During the second attempt, Seokjin observed Do-yun carefully. Just before the kiss, Do-yun locked eyes with Yoongi, a sly smirk playing on his lips. It was a subtle challenge, a silent dare directed at Yoongi. Seokjin frowned, realizing that Do-yun's actions weren't just about the scene but an attempt to stir up trouble between him and Yoongi.

Seokjin pushed aside his frustration, deciding not to let Do-yun's provocations affect him. He focused on delivering the scene professionally, determined not to let personal matters interfere with his work. However, deep down, he hoped Yoongi wouldn't be swayed by Do-yun's tactics, recognizing that the other actor's motives were to rile Yoongi up and cause a scene. Of course, Yoongi controlled his bitterness exceptionally well. He wasn't a CEO for nothing. He knew Do-yun was being childish and he wasn't going to fall for his tactics. He wasn't there to cause a scene. Seokjin would never talk to him again if he acted like a psychotic husband.

As Seokjin returned to his seat, the atmosphere between him and Yoongi underwent a subtle shift. Observing Yoongi's small smile and his willingness to stand up and patiently wait for him, Seokjin had a sudden realization. It hit him like a wave – that Yoongi had been earnestly trying to make amends for his past mistakes.

In that moment, as Seokjin locked eyes with Yoongi, a newfound understanding blossomed within him. He recognized the genuine effort Yoongi had put into rectifying their relationship. He considered how Yoongi had severed ties with Eun-Jae and allowed Seokjin the space he needed, all those cute notes and breakfast he made for Jin this whole time.

Seokjin felt a sense of injustice in how he had been pushing Yoongi away, despite the latter's clear intention to make their marriage work. Realizing he had kept himself closed off for too long, Seokjin decided it was time to let Yoongi in.

As he approached Yoongi, who was patiently waiting, Seokjin made a bold decision. No more distancing, no more silent treatments. He wanted Yoongi in his life, and he was ready to listen.

Without hesitation, Seokjin threw himself into Yoongi's arms, embracing him in a tight hug. He planted a lingering kiss on Yoongi's cheek, expressing his newfound understanding and willingness to move forward. Yoongi, caught off guard by the sudden change, responded by wrapping his arms around Seokjin's waist.

Breaking the hug, Seokjin looked into Yoongi's eyes, determination shining in his gaze. "Let's have dinner together tonight. I'm ready to talk," he declared, signaling a pivotal moment in their journey toward reconciliation.

While Seokjin and Yoongi were enjoying their tender moment, the atmosphere was rudely interrupted by the unwelcome presence of Do-hyun. With a disdainful expression, he questioned Seokjin about his absence from the staff dinner they were holding that night.

Seokjin, unfazed by the intrusion, simply replied, "I have a date with my husband, I won't be able to make it." asserting his priorities. Not giving Do-hyun the satisfaction of a further response, Seokjin called out to the director, politely asking if he could be excused from the staff party to enjoy a dinner date with his spouse. To Seokjin's relief, the director readily agreed, understanding the importance of the actor's personal time.

With a victorious smile, Seokjin turned back to Yoongi, leaving another peck on his cheek. He playfully instructed Yoongi to wait, mentioning his intention to freshen up before their dinner. Overjoyed with the attention, Yoongi nodded eagerly, eliciting a giggle from Seokjin before he strolled away.

Do-hyun, displeased with Seokjin's proximity to Yoongi, couldn't hide his irritation. However, Yoongi, noticing the brewing tension, looked Do-hyun in the eyes and simply smirked. In that moment, it was evident that Yoongi was the one getting the last laugh, reveling in the satisfaction of having his husband by his side.

Throughout the remaining time on set, Seokjin made sure to stick to Yoongi during breaks, feeling bad for initially ignoring him and talking with Do-hyun when he first arrived.

Yoongi could also see the shift in Seokjin's demeanor and could sense the return of the warmth and familiarity that had been absent.

Once the film concluded shooting, Seokjin willingly hopped into Yoongi's car, and the two decided to head home. They both thought rather than talking in public about the problems, it was better to do it at the comfort of their home. Before heading home, they stopped by a market to pick up groceries for the evening. Yoongi, with a promise to take charge of the kitchen, guided Seokjin inside, suggesting he take a shower or rest while he prepared dinner. He assured Seokjin he'd call when everything was ready.

Seokjin, feeling the weariness from the day's shoot, didn't protest and followed Yoongi's suggestion. The warm water of the shower soon lulled him into a state of relaxation, and afterward he found himself succumbing to a peaceful slumber as he laid in bed while waiting for Yoongi. It wasn't until Yoongi gently woke him that he stirred.

Upon emerging from the bedroom, Seokjin was greeted by a sight that took him by surprise. The path from the bedroom to the kitchen was adorned with a trail of flickering candles, casting a soft glow that illuminated the way. Delicate flower petals, carefully scattered along the walkway, added a touch of elegance to the enchanting scene. The aroma of a home-cooked meal wafted through the air, creating an inviting ambiance that enveloped them.

It was a breathtaking tableau, a thoughtful display of Yoongi's efforts to create a magical atmosphere for their dinner. As Seokjin took in the sight, he felt a flutter of warmth in his chest, realizing that, perhaps, this was Yoongi's way of expressing his commitment to mending their relationship.

"Do you like it?" Yoongi asked nervously, gauging Seokjin's reaction to the decorated room. The anticipation was evident in his eyes, hoping he hadn't overstepped any boundaries. Seokjin's answer, however, alleviated his concerns.

"It's beautiful, Yoongi. Thank you," Seokjin replied with genuine gratitude. A soft smile escaped Yoongi, and he gestured for Seokjin to take a seat. They began to eat in a comfortable silence, the ambiance filled with the warm glow of candlelight and the delicate scent of flowers.

As they progressed through the first half of the meal, neither of them knew quite how to broach the topic that lingered between them from that fateful night. After a while, Yoongi mustered the courage to be the one to initiate the conversation. He gently placed his chopsticks down, meeting Seokjin's gaze.

"Hyung, I know words like 'sorry' might not mean much, but I genuinely want to apologize for the way I acted that day," Yoongi began, his tone sincere. "I was wrong to take Eun-Jae's side. The long-term friendship I had with him blinded me, and I fell into his trap. You were right, hyung. Nobody broke into his room that day. He just wanted to cause problems between us. I checked the surveillance footage while you were sick and confronted him, telling him I want nothing to do with him anymore and that you are my future hyung."

Yoongi extended his hand across the table, gently intertwining his fingers with Seokjin's. "Whatever I say now won't make up for the words I said back then," Yoongi began, his voice carrying a tremor of emotion. "I was annoyed with your nagging, I won't lie. I thought the only way to make you stop accusing me was to throw those words at you. But, hyung, I swear I didn't mean any of those words," he confessed, sincerity etched in every word.

His voice trembled with the weight of regret. "I instantly regretted it, but it was too late. Seeing you drunk at that bar, soaking wet, made my heart ache. If I could turn back time, I would certainly do it and make sure you wouldn't hear such cruel words out of my mouth. But I can't change the past, so I'll be living every day reflecting on my mistake, ensuring I won't ever repeat such stupid mistake again."

He continued, "I'm sorry I neglected you and drowned myself in work during the first few days. No matter how pressing the matter was, I should have let my mom take care of it. For that also, I'm sorry. If you give me another chance, I promise to be a better and more devoted husband." The sincerity in Yoongi's eyes matched the vulnerability in his voice, a plea for understanding and forgiveness.

Seokjin listened attentively to Yoongi's heartfelt apology, his eyes never leaving the earnest expression on his husband's face. The sincerity in Yoongi's voice resonated, and the weight of his words began to lift the heaviness that had lingered between them.

As Yoongi reached for his hand, Seokjin reciprocated the gesture, intertwining their fingers. He could feel the warmth of Yoongi's hand, a tangible connection that spoke volumes beyond words. The silent sincerity between them created a bridge, gradually mending the fractures caused by past misunderstandings.

"Thank you for explaining it, Yoongi. I appreciate it. " Seokjin replied gently, his eyes softening.

Seokjin took a moment to collect his thoughts before continuing, "I won't deny that your words hurt, but I understand people make mistakes. I've made my share too. We both have our flaws, and it's about learning and growing together. I'm also sorry for refusing to listen and jumping to conclusions whenever things don't go well. I'm sorry for ignoring you for so long, as well."

A small smile played on Seokjin's lips as he squeezed Yoongi's hand, "I believe in second chances, Yoongi. We can move forward, but let's promise each other open communication and trust. I want us to be a team, facing whatever comes our way together. I promise too be honest with how I feel and let you explain your side of story before jumping to conclusion. I get insecure easily so forgive me if I get too much sometimes."

Yoongi's eyes glistened with gratitude and relief as he nodded, the unspoken promise sealing the beginning of a new chapter in their relationship. The air between them lightened, and as they resumed their meal, the silence was no longer uncomfortable. It held the promise of understanding, forgiveness, and the shared commitment to building a stronger foundation for their future.

💍💍💍💍💍

The soft glow of candlelight illuminated the room as Seokjin and Yoongi found themselves side by side in front of the kitchen sink, indulging in the simple joy of washing dishes together. The clinking of plates and the occasional laughter created a melody of shared moments, mending the frayed edges of their relationship.

Once the kitchen was in order, they settled in front of the TV, surrounded by the warmth of flickering candles and the remnants of flower petals scattered like confetti. The movie played on the screen, but their attention was drawn to each other. The room buzzed with a gentle intimacy, the air thick with unspoken sentiments.

As a scene in the movie sparked their laughter, their eyes met. The shared amusement lingered, weaving a connection that beckoned to be explored. In the quiet of the evening, cuddled close on the couch, a subtle tension hung in the air—a palpable awareness that something awaited acknowledgment.

Yoongi's gaze dropped to Seokjin's lips, an unspoken invitation hanging between them. Uncertainty mingled with desire, creating a charged atmosphere. Seokjin, sensing the unspoken tension, decided to bridge the gap.

With a gentle yet firm pull, Seokjin closed the distance, capturing Yoongi's lips in a passionate kiss. The world around them seemed to fade as the room filled with the warmth of their shared moment. The candles flickered, casting dancing shadows that mirrored the dance of their intertwined hearts.

The air in the room crackled with a newfound intensity as the lingering taste of their shared kiss hung between Seokjin and Yoongi. The TV murmured softly in the background, its glow casting a warm ambience that illuminated their path. In that intimate moment, the unspoken desires that had simmered beneath the surface finally found a voice.
Yoongi, guided by an unspoken understanding, broke the kiss but kept his forehead pressed against Seokjin's, his breath mingling with the actor's in the quiet space they had created. Their eyes locked, conveying a myriad of emotions—a blend of longing, vulnerability, and the promise of something beautiful.

Without a word, Yoongi scooped Seokjin into his arms, their bodies fitting together like pieces of a puzzle. The journey from the living room to Yoongi's bedroom was a tender procession, each step resonating with the unspoken anticipation that had woven its way into their shared space.

Upon reaching the bedroom, Yoongi gently laid Seokjin on the bed, never breaking their gaze from each other.

In the tender embrace of the dimly lit bedroom, Yoongi and Seokjin's connection deepened, guided by an unspoken understanding. As their lips met in a dance of shared desire, Yoongi took the lead, his hands navigating the contours of Seokjin's body with an intimacy that spoke volumes.

Their clothes, like barriers to the emotions they longed to express, were shed one by one. Yoongi's touch was a symphony of exploration, mapping the canvas of Seokjin's skin with the reverence of an artist immersed in his craft. Each caress ignited a spark, a silent agreement that this was more than a physical union—it was a merging of souls.

As Yoongi hovered above Seokjin, their eyes locked, conveying a silent dialogue of consent and passion.

Seokjin, attuned to the unspoken language between them, yielded to Yoongi's lead. Their bodies moved in synchrony, a graceful ballet of shared desires and vulnerability. In the quietude of the room, the only sounds were whispered breaths and the rhythmic cadence of their hearts.

As the intimacy unfolded, Yoongi whispered words of reassurance and affection, his actions speaking louder than any uttered pledge. Seokjin, lost in the warmth of their connection, reciprocated with a surrender that echoed with trust and love.

Lying side by side on the bed, the afterglow of their shared vulnerability lingered in the air. Seokjin traced patterns on Yoongi's bare chest, the touch gentle yet meaningful. Yoongi, in turn, ran his fingers through Seokjin's hair, savoring the closeness they had rediscovered.

Seokjin's eyes, still reflecting the soft light from the night lamp met Yoongi's. "Yoongi," he whispered, a soft smile playing on his lips.

"Yeah?" Yoongi responded, his voice filled with affection.

Seokjin's expression turned more serious as he cupped Yoongi's cheek. "I love you, Min Yoongi. I've realized that since our first dance at the wedding, but never really had a chance to say it."

Yoongi's heart swelled with emotion, and he mirrored Seokjin's gesture, holding his face gently. "And I love you, Kim Seokjin. With all my heart. I promise to cherish you for the rest of my life."

In the quiet intimacy of their bedroom, surrounded by the remnants of their rekindled love, the two men exchanged a lingering kiss. The air buzzed with the unspoken vows they had made – to communicate openly, to trust each other, and to build a future together. As they held each other close, the promise of a renewed journey lay ahead, and their love felt stronger than ever before.
