Eiji wakes up from a nightmare and Ash isn't there. Of course he isn't, Ash died while he was stupidly on the plane back to Japan. And now he wakes up to a bed that's cold on the other side, alone forever.

Eiji has a nightmare (basically B.F. post-canon) and Ash isn't there when he wakes up. You've probably read the tags, Ash was actually alive but Eiji was super confused so Ash finds him asleep, having been crying.
