Mortal Kombat 1 Kombatant Profile: Yukari Kotozume/ Hosshiwa.
Note: her face model is based on Fujita Saki, Cure Macaron/Yukari Kotozume’s voice actress.
Bio:
Yukari Kotozume was one of the Elder’s best pupils. Having encountered the Ichigozaka Mountain fairies of Earthrealm and trained by the Elder, Yukari learnt to manipulate Kirakiraru alongside Ciel Kirahoshi. Though she proved a prodigy, her classmate’s praise for her soon turned into hubris and eventually greed, viewing her tutelage by the Elder as constraining her potential. It was this hubris that eventually came to betrayal.
When Ciel was away in France after being selected by a pâtissier for apprenticeship, Yukari made her move and set up a Kirakiraru explosion, rendering the Elder a incorporeal spirit. Hunted down by her betrayal for the Elder, Yukari took up the alias of Hosshiwa and became a mercenary affiliated with the Bundoru Gang, known for her ego and her skill in equal measure.
With the return of Ciel to Japan and her invited to Outworld to bake pastries for the Outworld royal house, Hosshiwa returned to track down Ciel and compete in the Mortal Kombat tournament, officially to take her out, unofficially to stroke her ego. However, she’ll be drawn into a conspiracy by Titan Shang Tsung to destroy the timeline that Liu Kang built.
Walk Up Animation:
Hosshiwa picks up her umbrella as she walks out and rests on it.
Select Animation: Hosshiwa creates a small macaron using kirakirau and crushes it.
Gear: Umbrella.
Skins: Default (her appearance in Happiness Charge PreCure), Pâtissier (based on Yukari’s Kirapati outfit), Cure Macaron (based on Cure Macaron) and Civilian (based on Yukari’s civilian costume)

Intros:
Intro 1: Hoshiiwa creates a macaron in her hands.
Intro 2: Hoshiiwa pulls out her hat and replaces it.
Outro:
Hoshiiwa pulls out her umbrella and opens it to shield herself from the sun.
Throw Animation: Fallen Student.
Hoshiiwa pokes her opponent in the eye with her umbrella, sidesteps her opponent and slams a kirakiraru macaron to the back of her opponent’s head to knock her opponent to the ground.
Special Moves.
Umbrella Snag: Hoshiiwa snags her opponent with the handle of her umbrella for a free hit.
Kirakirau Charge: Hoshiiwa uses Kirakiraru to boost a shoulder charge.
Kirkiraru Tentacle: Hoshiiwa creates a kirakiraru tentacle underneath her opponent's feet that wrap around the opponent and slam the opponent to the ground.
Umbrella Shield: Hosshiwa opens her umbrella, creating a shield that blocks ranged attacks. Can be removed with a melee attack
Kirakiraru Blast: Hosshiwa fires a Kirakirau blast from her umbrella.

Kirakiraru Trap: Hosshiwa fires a sticky substance from her umbrella that immobilizes the opponent.
Nail Projectile: Hosshiwa throws some Kirakiraru nails as scattershot projectiles
Fatal Blow: Might meets Sweets.
Hoshiiwa starts her Fatal Blow by smashing her umbrella to the ground, creating a Kirkiraru shockwave that staggers her opponent and allowing her Kameo time to execute their Fatal Blow. Once done, Hoshiiwa smashes her elbow into the opponent’s face, pokes her opponent in the gut with her umbrella and smashes her opponent’s face in with an elbow, breaking their face and knocking her opponent to the ground.
Fatalities.
Fatality 1: Nail Driver.
Hoshiiwa creates some spikes made from Kirakiraru that she then throws into the opponent’s face. She then proceeds to use her umbrella as an ad-hoc hammer by smacking the spikes with the handle of her umbrella, driving them further and splattering out their back of their head.
Fatality 2: Melt in Mouth.
Hoshiiwa pulls out a kirakirau macaron and shoves it into the opponent’s mouth, causing the opponent to vomit out kirakirau in cream form and causing their face to melt off. As the opponent’s face melts off and the opponent collapses; dead, their brain falls out.
Kameo Fatality Win Pose:
Hosshiwa creates a macaron in her hands as her Kameo poses with her.
Animality: Jaguar Macronage:
Hoshiiwa turns into a jaguar, then proceeds to jump towards the opponent, knocking the opponent down and proceeds to bite down on the back of her opponent's skull and rip out their brain. She then proceeds to crush their brain in her jaws.
Test Your Might: Hoshiiwa attempts to break the object with her umbrella. If successful, she smiles at the camera while posing with her umbrella.
Brutalities:

The Klassic: Hosshiwa punches the opponent’s head off with an uppercut.
- Back Throw: Hosshiwa throws her opponent into the camera, splattering her opponent.

Explosive Macarons: Hoshiwa executes her throw, only to splatter the opponent with the final blow.

Elbowed Out: Hosshiwa snags her opponent with her umbrella’s handle, then elbows the opponent so hard that the opponent’s upper body explodes.

Nailgun: Hosshiwa throws blades made from Kirakiraru at her opponent, skewering her opponent and causing her opponent to fall apart.

Suffocated: Hosshiwa throws kirakiraru at her opponent’s mouth, causing her opponent to suffocate.

Make Way!: Hosshiwa charges into her opponent, sending her opponent flying offscreen, eventually falling to their death.
- Filling: Hosshiwa impales the opponent with her umbrella, then injects the opponent with kirakiraru, causing her opponent to swell up and explode.
- Come On And Slam: Hosshiwa executes her Kirakiraru Tentacle move, only to splatter the opponent with the final blow

(Shot of Hosshiwa returning from Outworld and returning to the Bundoru’s headquarters….only to get in an argument with Secretoru at the Bundoru’s own base)
“Once the conspiracy with Titan Shang Tsung has been done with, I’ve returned to the Bundoru to claim my reward. Unfortunately, Godatz was cheap enough to short me of my payment. The payment that I rightfully deserve for saving the Bundoru Gang from the machinations of a even worse threat!”
