Summary:

Nancy has a child, Steve does not. but Nancy loves her daughter and that's all that matters

Work Text:

Life was sometimes unfair, Steve wanted children, Nancy didn't want them, but it was decided otherwise.

"Come on Eleanor, we're going to Uncle Steve's because mommy needs to go get the car" Nancy explained to her three year old daughter. she leaned down and took her in her arms. she kissed her forehead and touched the tip of her nose with her finger and the little girl laughed happily.

Nancy never wanted children, but when she got pregnant after her first heat with Robin, she couldn't bring herself to refuse, she knew the risks of not protecting herself properly and she had this wonderful baby .

She had a desire for freedom that was never allowed to her, she thought that a child would change everything, of course it changed a lot of things, but there was no hard feelings towards her daughter, Nancy was able to do her studies, find a job and have time to take vacations, because she was well surrounded.

"I love you little one" she whispered against her daughter's forehead and took her to the car, she strapped her into her car seat and left with Robin's car. During the ride, Eleanor spoke little, she was rocked by the car, it was one of the rare calm moments, like Robin, she talked a lot and it was very beneficial since she spoke better than the other children her age.

Arriving at Steve's house, she untied Eleanor and let her ring at Steve's house.

"oh but who do I see? the prettiest little girl ever" Steve took Eleanor in his arms and spun her around the area.

“hellooo Uncle Steve!!” laughed the little girl.
