Summary
Lando stepped in, shutting the door behind him. He stared wordlessly at Carlos. He looked okay, just like had said. Exhausted, still wearing his team shirt and looking like he would topple over if the wind blew him the wrong way, but then again, Lando was pretty sure he didn’t look much better.
“See?” Carlos said, noticing him staring. “I am fine, just like I said.”
“Fine is not okay,” Lando said, repeating his same words from earlier. The cold feeling was back, settling in the tips of his fingers. What could he still be hiding?

“Why is your door unlocked?” Carlos asked, setting his bag down on the floor.
“My parents just left and I knew you were coming and I didn’t want to get up again.”
“Someone could have broken in. Why would you risk that?”
Lando rolled his eyes. “What is this, twenty questions?”
“Yes,” Carlos smiled softly. “The next one is can I join you?”
“Only if you’re careful.”
Lando’s response was enough to make his hands shake again. Why would he need to be careful? Was it really that bad?
or: lando takes care of carlos after fp1 and after the race carlos returns the favor
