Summary
Even after the survivors started rebuilding and treating zombie-vamps, it"s far from a "Happily Ever After".
Serena misses the times where she could hide in her room, lock herself in her closet with and flashlight and a book an shut out the rest of the world. Now, she has to deal with her parents fighting, her mother and brother not being fully present at any waking moment and her sister off with her new boyfriend, it all just gets to be too much.
So she runs back into the wasteland...
And accidentally barges in Cassie Meyer"s place.
