So the circus was in town.
That was nice. Phil remembered when he was younger, hearing little kids beg their parents for tickets. A night of magic and evasion. He could do with that.
But with the way his life was going, he was much more likely to end up as one of the attractions, than in the audience.With his flock killed off and his soul bonds still empty, Phil has all but given up on life. Tonight, he’ll get auctioned off to some rich prick and spend the rest of his days in a gilded cage. But strange things happen when the circus is around…
