It’s been five years since Katsuki even spoke to Izuku, but the presence of the younger never truly left. Even if it weren’t for all the posters, ads, interviews and merchandise, Katsuki would still feel his lingering presence in every corner of his life. Izuku was known for being a hero on the big screen, on a clear pathway to become the man that was once his biggest idol. Izuku reached for the stars all those years ago when Katsuki was applying for college, and he brought them all down here with him. And in the process, he left Katsuki with a darkened sky.
