Work Text:
It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining, the birds were chirping, one could say they were singing a tune similar to Ed Sheeran's "Perfect" because that's what the day was, perfect.
That day Ant and Jeff were getting married. Jeff was sitting on a chair impatiently, while waiting for his love he was watching the waves in the sea. Waves always interested him, they moved so elegantly yet also aggressively. It reminded him of how he and Ant met, skydiving.
Skydiving in a sense was also elegant but aggressive, let's be honest who wouldn't call it elegant if Ant was doing it? Ant always looked elegant.. that's what made Jeff love with them in the first place.
As Jeff was lost in thought thinking of his significant other he didn't realize someone poking him on his shoulder.
"Hey Jeff? Answer me, you know I don't like to be ignored!" Ant said.
Jeff realized he was being poked and turned his head around to see Ant. They looked stunning.
Ant was wearing a long wedding dress, it was white with little crystals in the top area. It looked like it was made for Ant, which technically is true since it was made on request. Most shops didn't exactly have dresses in ant size. Jeff was looking at Ant with wide eyes and an open mouth.
"You look beautiful.." He said, getting up from the chair and hugging Ant.
"You look very handsome too if I say so myself." Ant replied with a smirk making Jeff smile. "The ceremony is about to begin, c'mon we can't be late!" They quickly added and dragged Jeff by the hand.
The ceremony was flawless, some people even cried during it. Jeff and Ant couldn't be happier.
"You may now kiss your spouse." Announced the priest.
Jeff and Ant kissed, it wasn't long but it felt like the best kiss both of them had ever experienced, full of love and happiness. For a second they even thought they were the only ones in this universe, just the two of them.
Unfortunately all that's good has to come to an end eventually. Jeff couldn't stand his sky diving "friends" insult him. They called him fat, ugly and other atrocities. It was all getting to his head and he just couldn't stand it anymore. One day he decided it's payback time, he grabbed the matches, a gun and a knife, then he met up with his sky diving "friends".
"Yo Jeff, we're skydiving today right? As usual? Although I think you might have to be careful. With all that weight your parachute might not be enough!" One of his lookalikes laughed and the others followed.
"You'll... the.. won't.." Jeff whispered something inaudibly.
"Can you repeat that? I didn't catch you." The lookalike went closer to Jeff, unaware of his situation.
"I SAID YOU'LL BE THE THE ONE WHO WON'T SKYDIVE TODAY!" Jeff screamed with all his might, he lunged at his "friend" with a lit match in his hand and threw it at his lookalikes parachute. The "friend" tripped and fell onto the lit parachute. He started screaming in agony, his parachute made the other ones light up in flames too. Every single person in the group except Jeff caught on fire, Jeff could smell fire and burned bodies. It made him happy to know he got his revenge.
But then he realized.. Ant. What would Ant think? They were always against violence so what would they say if they realized what Jeff did? Jeff knew they'd be dissapointed, Ant would leave him. Ant would become scared of him, this isn't what he wanted to happen.. Why did he do it then? Why? Why? Why? Why did he kill them? Why did he smile while seeing them die? Why did it bring him joy? Oh.. poor Jeff, you're a killer now, You'll have to go to jail. Ant will leave you and you'll never have a family with them like you planned. Weren't you happy when you realized you were pregnant? Well now all of this doesn't matter. There is no way to repay for your sins.
"I-I'm a monster.." Jeff muttered to himself. He had lost everything. There is no reason for him to live anymore.
Jeff glanced at the gun he had in his pocket. He looked at it for a while until he grabbed it and put it under his chin.
"I'm sorry ant.. I love you."
And with that he pulled the trigger. Ant expected to come back home to seeing their husband but he never came back.
