“ACHOO”
A high pitched sneeze rang throughout the hall,the class going silent looking at the culprit.
Which happened to be Suchan Jang. He grew red and looked away.
“That sneeze was you?”Hyeseong exclaimed.
“U-um yes?”The redden boy replied,turning to the side even more.
Huijin let out a snigger and Professor Ji carried on with his lecture.
That was until Suchan sneezed again.
And again.
AND again.
After the 3rd sneezing fit in a row.Professor Ji turned around.To see a pink in the face Suchan.Struggling to catch his breath.He waved his hand for him to carry on.So he did.
He wasn’t expecting what came next.
Suddenly a loud bang echoed in the lecture hall.
And once again the culprit was Suchan Jang.
But this time he saw Huijin shaking the boy who was lying on desk.His eyes were closed and his breathing seemed jagged.
He forgets thought they were insects they were also humans.They still could get ill.Even when their genes were modified by a spray
“He’s not waking up.”Huijin commented.
“Take him to the nurse”Jun Ji sighed.The boy was an handful.
Dohwa started cackling manically when the unconscious boy was brought into a pack strap carry.
She crossed his legs over her torso for extra for security and his hands lay on her chest.
Hyeona looked worried and Daun was trying to calm her down.
Changhun looked jealous of the hand placement but Jun Ji just ignored the look on his face.
Hyeonseong trying not to show it(it wasn’t working)but he was also worried he was just about to get up and go after the 2 but Dohwa who had finally calmed down.Told him they’d be fine.
After Huijin carefully walked down the stairs.She sped off.The boy not stirring at all at any of the movement.
At the nurse office Huijin settled down the boy onto the bed.
The nurses were not surprised to the boy as he is there atleast once a month welcomed them.
“What injury is it this time?”
“No injury Miss”
“What??”The nurses chorused.
“He passed out in the middle of class after have multiple sneezing fits.”She replied.
“Oh dear,sick then?”
“He seemed fine before..I feel bad for not noticing though he did look a bit flushed today.”
“He probably just wanted to come to class,don’t worry we’ll take good care of him.”The head nurse replied “Now off to class,chop chop you can visit him after class theres an 5 person limit just so you know.No more then that and NO exceptions even for you Miss president.”
She sighed.”Alright I’ll see you later.”She took one last look at the boy before heading back out.
The class seemed to drag on and on and on.Nobody was actually concentrating on the lesson.They were all worried and slightly annoyed at the transfer student.
Why would he come to class sick?
They all knew the answer.
He couldn’t fall behind.
Nobody could.
In his position they would’ve come too.
As soon as the bell rang Dohwa,Hyeseong and Huijin dashed out the class.Everyone already knew where they were going.The nurses office.
When they got there the boy was in a conversation with the nurse a small smile on his face.He jumped at there presence and bewildered faces.
“Hi?”He said.
Huijin pounced on him.Tackling him into a hug so forceful they both fell down onto the bed.Suchan gasped as the air was knocked out of his lungs.
Hyeseong stood there next to Dohwa a knowing smile on his face while the white haired girl re-enacted the scene in class.Cacking at Suchans reddening face and shocked expression.
“So what your saying is that I passed out in class and Huijin had to carry me here?”He questioned.
“Yes.”The 3 said together.
“Oh”The boy groaned and flopped his head on his pillow.
They decided to change the subject.
“Whats with the sneeze?”Huijin asked
“I’ve always had an high pitched sneeze or kitten sneeze as told before my grandma always laughed at me.”
“You have a Grandma? How is she doing?”
“Um she’s not with us”He said looking away sadly
The room faded into silence.
They decided to talk to the nurse instead.
“What’s his temperature?”
“It was 39.2 celsius but we managed to get it down so its around 38.7 but,when he goes to back to the dorm we need someone to look after him.So…Miss president i’m assuming its you?”
Huijin went a bit red in the face but eventually agreed.
“I see,I might aswell it’s my duty as class president to make sure my classmates are in good wellbeing.”She said with alot of seriousness.
Suchan was finally discharged and was brought back to the dorm.
“I’m never living this down am i?”He said out the blue.
“Yep”Huijin said dabbing a lukewarm cloth on his forehead to lower his temperature.A bruise had formed where he banged his head.
“I’m just happy you’re okay,you can tell us these things Suchan.”
“I know I’m sorry”
And for the second time today Huijin hugged Suchan but this time.It stayed that way.They had fallen asleep.
(And in the morning when Dohwa and Hyeseong recorded videos of took pictures of the 2 they didn’t say anything maybe just showing their classmates and when the duo finally saw the videos they Huijin gaped and Suchan looked so red they thought his fever came back but that not important)
