Summary
Maybe Dawn was animatedly searching for her memories, for what she left behind, but for Ingo, the thought of doing such a thing felt like some version of tortue. So be did not search, not as hard as Dawn did. He was curious, yes, but… oh, how did that one phrase go? Curiosity killed Purrloin?
And that had worked just fine. Dawn had more free time, less responsibilities, than he did, so she could afford to worry about it. But he had duties to attend to, kits and a kid to look after, annoying wardens to deal with.
Except… now, his past, his Before, was standing here in front of him, and Ingo realizes… he does not know how to proceed. This is an entirely unprecedented track, sending him hurtling down a dark path. He had never thought about what to do should he, by some twist of fate, end up encountering anyone that was from Before.
