Once the ship had made port not to far from Farrun. Martin, Serana, Kaiden, Inigo, Lucian, Sofia, Croc, and Ferria all walk off the ship before beginning to head for Farrun, soon arriving at the city gates and entering. Once inside Lucian looked around, "ah Farrun, also written and pronounced as Fharun. This city is the current capital of the Wrothgarian mountains" he explained. Martin looked to Lucian, "thanks for the information Lucian" he responded. Lucian smiled, "your welcome Martin" he replied. Martin looked to everyone, "we won't be staying here long. We've got to get to that temple and stop Molag Bal" he added, "the only reason we are here is to get some supplies before heading out towards the temple" he explained. Everyone nodded with understanding before they all headed off to gather supplies.
Once they had gathered the supplies. Martin, Serana, Kaiden, Inigo, Lucian, Sofia, Croc, and Ferria all headed out of Farrun and began to head over the wilderness of High Rock toward the Imperial-Stormcloak camp. Serana looked around at the wilderness of High Rock as they continued to walk seeing several of the ruins as they continued to walk, "I have never seen so many ruins in a region before. Even in Skyrim" she stated. Lucien looked to Martin, "most of the ruins located in High Rock are located in Wrothgar. Most of these actually date back to the mythic era, created by the Dwemer, the Ayleids, the ancient Nords and the ancient Orcs" he explained.
Serana nodded with understanding as they continued to walk Martin looked to them all, "we'll have to make a stop off at Evermore for the night. Then we continue toward the temple" he said. Everyone nodded with understanding before they continued to walk.
It did not take long before they reached the road leading to Evermore. The group walked down toward the city getting ambushed by several Vampire's and Daedra who attempted to kidnap Serana as they went. Though luckily they managed to defeat the small group of Vampires, Scamps, and Xivkyn. Martin slew the final Xivkyn before Serana looked to what had just occurred, "I still can't believe that they are trying to get me. Do they know that I am no longer viable to be one of Molag Bal's brides" she stated. Lucian looked to Serana, "there is a chance that they could still potentially use your blood to open the portal. You may not be a Vampire anymore but with how old you are your blood might still be useable" he explained. Serana looked to him, "really?" she asked. Lucian shrugged, "its just a theory and there is no real way we can test this theory. But it could explain why they keep coming for you" he added.
Serana thought for a moment, "well it could be. It could also be because I am...I was a daughter of Coldharbour before being cured. Since our vampirism comes directly from Molag Bal. Its different from that of regular vampires. And though we can be cured the same way. I don't know any of the side effects" she stated, "I mean I am still able to use some of my vampiric abilities. But that is only temporary, they'll fade overtime and then I will just be a normal Nord" she explained. Martin looked to Serana, "well you are only the third Daughter of Cold Harbour I have met who's actually been cured. I still do not know the side effects of curing a Daughter of Coldharbour" he responded. Serana nodded, "anyway, we best keep moving" he stated. Everyone nodded with understanding before they continued to Evermore.
As they walked Serana looked to Martin, "Martin" she said. Martin looked to Serana, "yeah" he responded. Serana thought for a moment, "listen. Between us and what we have been doing" she explained, "with the sex and all that" she added. Martin thought for a moment, "what about it" he asked curiously. Serana went silent for a moment, "with how many times we have been doing it. I do think I might actually be carrying now. Carrying your baby inside me" she explained. Martin went silent for a moment, "are you sure?" he asked. Serana shrugged, "well. It would not be surprise with how we've been doing it with zero protection" she responded, "but if I do end up falling pregnant with your child. What will we do?" she asked.
Martin though for a moment, "I don't know. I haven't really thought of being a father much. Never really thought of having kids. What about you?" he responded. Serana went silent, "I don't know how well I will be a mother. But if I do end up carrying. Then when I give birth. I will raise them, raise them and love them as my child or children" she explained. Martin nodded with understanding, "listen if that happens. Send me a letter. I might actually come to see them. They will be the inheritors of my family estate and all that" he stated. Serana nodded, "listen. As well. Though it might have to wait. If I am pregnant with your children. Then I will marry you. I would rather be your bride then a bride of Molag Bal" she responded. Martin nodded with understanding before motioning for Serana to follow.
Serana nodded back before the two of them joined up with the rest of the team and continued toward Evermore.
