Chapter Text
In another part of the kingdom, there were Johnny and Sal, the only two people who didn't show up to the ceremony and were instead playing a game of cards, go fish to be exact. However, despite him winning the game for the tenth time, Johnny couldn't stop feeling upset by the newest addition to the family which meant he no longer had a shot at getting the throne.
"Darn this life, Sal, it's just not fair."
"What do you mean by that, Johnny?"
"My brother and sister in law just had a bouncing baby brat, now I'll never be king."
"Oh, I guess that does suck, you would have made an excellent king."
"Thank you, Sal."
"There you two are."
Johnny and Sal turned around to to find the source of the voice behind them both to see Sam standing there arms at the side in a disproving way.
"What do you want, Sam?"
"Yeah, why are you here?"
"I'm here to announce that King Jay-Z is on his way. Sam said, in a stern voice to the two."So you two better have a good excuse for missing the ceremony this morning."
The two pals groaned, they both new that Jay-Z would notice both of their absence from this morning. But to have Sam come here to insult them is ridiculous.
"And just like that, I'm no longer playing this game."
"Oh now look, Sam, you made me and Sal lose our interest in this game."
"Hah! You two will lose more than that when the King gets through with you both, He's as mad as a bear with a tooth ache.
Johnny & Sal looked at each other before turning back to Sam. They both hated him more than Johnny's brother and they were just about to do anything to make him shut up.
"Oooh... We quiver with FEAR."
"Yeah, hehehehe."
Sam then looked worried. He didn't mean for things to escalate that quickly, so he tried to calm Johnny & Sal down.
"Now boys, don't look at me that way... HELP!"
The two quickly cornered Sam and were just about to attack him, when...
"Johnny! Sal!..."
The two boys turned around to see king Jay-Z himself with a disproval look.
"Leave him alone."
"Impeccable timing, your majesty."
Johnny and Sal did so, turning their attention to Jay-Z
Why! If it isn't his majesty descending from on high to mingle with the commoners.
"Yeah" said Sal, "What brings you here, Sire?"
"Beyoncé and I didn't see you two at the presentation of Kermit."
The boys started to act like they both forgot about it so they'ed forget about another lecture.
"That was today? Oh, I feel simply awful, don't you Sal?"
"Yes I do, Johnny, Must have slipped our minds."
Yes, well, as slippery as your minds are, as the king's brother, you should have been first in line, Johnny!
"Well, I was first in line... until the little tadpole was born."
"That "tadpole" is my son... and your future king."
"Ohh, we shall practice our curtsy."
Johnny and Sal (who didn't want to say anything about this anymore) turned to leave, but the king wasn't letting his brother and his friend go that easy.
"Don't you and your friend turn your backs on me, Johnny."
"Oh, no, Jaz-Z. Perhaps YOU shouldn't turn YOUR back on me."
The king then got angry and ran up front to his brother, which got Sal afraid and hid behind his friend.
"Is that a challenge?"
Scar: "Temper, temper. We wouldn't dream of challenging you, brother dear."
"Pity! Why not?"
"Well, as far as brains go, we'd got our own share. But, when it comes to brute strength, ...I'm afraid we're at the shallow end of the gene pool."
The two friends then left the area, leaving Sam and Jay-Z alone.
"There's one in every family, sire... Two in mine, actually. And they always manage to ruin special occasions."
"What am I going to do with them?"
"Johnny could shave his head and for Sal, he'd make a very handsome throw rug.
"Sam!"
"And just think! Whenever he gets dirty, you could take him out and BEAT him. and you could get your brother a silly wig to cheer him up."
The King couldn't help but chuckle at this conversation, especially at the thought of Johnny wearing a silly wig.
Later in the evening (one with rain and a thunderstorm), Honeydew was admiring the picture Beaker was making. When Beaker finished, Honeydew couldn't help but smile.
"Welcome to the world, Prince Kermit."
