Chapter Text
The new queen of the nation, or the Empress of Amazon Lily, as most would call, was hauntingly beautiful. It was said that everyone in the nation would have mentioned this fact at least once a month in their daily talk.
Law had thought the saying exaggerated, until she was now kneeling before the said Empress, on the soft carpet in her luxurious chamber.
To say the woman hauntingly beautiful was too underrated, as no description could match the overwhelming presence of Boa Hancock.
“- So, I heard Luffy had summoned you to his chamber for the past nights,” said the Empress in a cold tone. She laid sideways on her bed in a lazy manner, but her eyes set dangerously on Law like a serpent ready to kill its prey at anytime.
“…Yes, Your Majesty,” Law answered, with her eyes remained lowered while weighing the current situation.
“Huh.” The Empress replied with a nonchalant hum, stroking the large pet snake curled around her neck. “He must be very fond of you, Trafalgar Law, or the only heir of the Heavenly Demon.”
Law remained silent, as she didn’t think the other would have wanted a response from her at this time, since she could feel the dominant aura increased in the room, a hint of the unleash of Conqueror’s Haki created by the Empress’s rising fury.
Law had guessed what had probably caused the Empress’s anger. Even though the servants and maids in the palace followed strict orders and discipline, it was surprising that how often gossips would slip from one’s tongue.
The Empress - based from the information Law had collected - had held a strong hatred towards male due to the unwanted past, and was extremely loathed being touched by any man, until she was engaged with Luffy. As far as Law had known from the night she spent with the Luffy, the younger king was completely a virgin, meaning that Boa Hancock had not yet be able to spend the night with the king after all this time they’re married.
And Law’s presence had made the queen looked like a joke. However, most in the empire disliked Law anyway, and she didn’t care.
So she just lifted her eyes, and stared straight into the Empress’s eyes. Th elder woman seemed to be surprised at her boldness.
“Well, well…I can’t help to admit that your presence is rather…entertaining, Trafalgar.”
“I’m honored, Your Majesty,” Law said in a dry tone.
“Hm. Since we’re now close as sisters, as you’re Luffy’s concubine,” spoke the Empress slowly with pure malice while circling around Law in graceful steps. “I’m quite curious about something. Would you kindly fulfill my curiosity?”
“And what you’ve wished to know, Your Majesty?”
Boa Hancock stopped her steps directly in front of Law, leaning down with her hand gently to lift up the younger’s chin, “I rather find the answers by my own means.”
Law noticed the Empress’s pleasant scent, and she could feel the long, soft hair tickling her neck.
The Empress evaluated through her in a condescending manner. “You do have a delicate feature. I found it pleasant enough to permit your existence a bit longer. Now, to the bed, Trafalgar,” she commanded.
Law nearly frowned at the ordering tone. Moreover, she felt quite confused. Law still stood up eventually, however, she’s not willing to follow the Empress’s order completely. She sat on the bed with her legs crossed rather elegantly as she tilted her head, “like this?”
Boa Hancock narrowed her eyes at the disobeying act. “No. Lay down.”
Law frowned at the commanding tone again. She knew that the best option was to follow the Empress, but she didn’t want to. So she just smirked at the Empress. Before she could say anything else, though, she was suddenly being pressed against the soft mattress when the Empress’s hand gripping around her neck in a strong force.
Law could barely breathe, but she remained her calm and fearless eyes connected with the woman, seeing the reflection of herself from the dark-haired Empress’s narrowed dark eyes.
“You’re a brave one, Trafalgar…and a reckless little thing. Normally, I would have killed you, like I would have done to any of the people who has defied me,” the Empress uttered gently, her nails almost dug into Law’s skin. “But I won’t. You should feel grateful.”
Law was feeling dizzier and dizzier, yet, in the lack of breath, she couldn’t help but chuckled.
“What’s so funny?” the Empress asked coldly, yet strangely, Law felt the force around her neck had become looser.
“Nothing,” Law said. “Just thought you’re probably blaming the wrong subject. You should have blamed Luffy instead of me, right?” she said in a light tone, as she whispered with her right hand lifted, touching on the Empress’s soft cheek.
“Since he’s the one who decided to spend the night with me.”
Boa Hancock’s eyes dangerously narrowed, and a threatening gleam flashed in her eyes. Yet in the end, she sighed lightly with a cold smirk shown at her lips. “Countermeasures with reverse psychology, or you’re trying to drive a wedge? Very clever, Trafalgar, but it won’t work. Like I said, you’re just quite entertaining, and nothing more than a plaything.”
Her fingers slid down Law’s throat, feeling the lump moved as Law swallowed, and slowly to her collar bone, and then continued down while her breath also leaned to touch Law’s right ear luringly, enveloping the younger with her pleasant scent. “Then, enlighten me, Trafalgar. What have you done to let the king want you?”
“I have nothing to share, my queen,” Law replied with a provoking smirk.
The Empress raised her brow. She tapped on her red lips, speaking her thoughts as she pondered.
“Then I have no choice but to wreck you,” she decided, and a cruel smirk appeared on her beautiful lips. “Yes, you figured out that I can’t kill you, yet I’m quite infamous of having no mercy in the living as well, Trafalgar. It’s great that you’re a pretty little thing, and most importantly, not being a male that I have no patience but to kill on first sight. We'll have a long night after all. Let me see what kind of expression and sounds that you’ve made,” the Empress said in a wicked tone, her eyes gleamed with cruel yet pure curiosity, “that have drawn Luffy to you.”
