Chapter Text
Trafalgar Law, the adoptive daughter of the Duke of the North, had been having the same vision in her dreams for months.
It’s a strange vision about how she would become the concubine of the new king, who was still now the young prince of the nation in the reality.
Although the dream hadn’t given much detail about her life in the palace after that, every dream would lead to a clear conclusion.
- In the end of every dream, she would be sent to prison due to the involvement of a planned mutiny that betrayed the nation. She was proved to be responsible for harming the king and his queen, and later on was sentenced to death in the name of treason.
This is stupid, at first she thought, as everyone in the nation would have known that she, Trafalgar Law, had no power and authority, even though she was nominally the only heir of the Duke of the North.
So naturally, she ignored the vision, seeing it as one of the ridiculous dreams happened to have tedious details aligned a bit with the reality, such as names of the location or the people she knew.
There were so much more important things regarding her survival at that time, such as that fact that she being one of the critical member of the Donquixote Family. It wasn’t an easy task to stay alive and remain her sanity in such sickened place, especially when her nominally father Doflamingo Donquixote, the fearful Duke of the North, was a manipulative bastard and only wanted her to become a puppet for his own twisted delight.
However, the more she fought and struggled against her life, the more desperate she had become.
And when the events in the reality started to follow the predictions of her dream, a sense of fear began to loom over her mind, like an everlasting shadow lingering behind her.
At some point, she started to feel that her fights against Doflamingo were all futile. Like there’s no escape from that jocular fate, a fate that sentenced Law to her final doom.
The final straw that killed her hope was on the day of the young king’s coronation. On that particular date, she stood in the hall, realizing that every detail of the scene was scarily resemble to that in her dream.
Not long after the realization, Law’s greatest fear had come true.
- Doflamingo had offered her as the gift to the new king, Monkey D. Luffy.
Although it became such desperate situation, Law decided to fight for her survival with all her might. With the revealed details from the dream she had, Law listed out a few possible threats that might have been the cause of her future imprisoned life.
Law would never give herself up to fate that easily, even if that meant to become the villainess whom everyone would deem her as.
Now, she must fight against her unknown destiny, unknown enemies and the unknown marriage, as well as the many unknown forces across the whole Empire - and find a way to survive.
