Chapter Text
Day 71. They nodded as I put on my earrings and pocketed the necklace. I snuck around and made it to the other side where I explained the plan once more. I handed Caroline the necklace and looked over at Astra. Maniac seemed almost complete with whatever ritual he was about to do, but he seemed to hesitate. I nodded and Astra nodded back. We rushed at him.
Day 71.2 As soon as he saw us he threw some papers he was holding behind him and scrambled into the circle to grab the jewellery to protect him. The shield turned into a long red cape, crown crumbled up and made Maniacs hair grow out and his hair grew, turning pink while the bracelet turned into a ribbon on his hand while the ring stayed almost the same.
Day 72. As we ran at him I felt my ears grow pointy, I saw the sword in Ann's hand stretch out and turn into a mages wand etched with runes. When I turned to look at Caroline for a moment a huge wave of worry washed over me as blood arteries were glowing red. "Oh shit! I completely forgot she was a part kraken hybrid!" I panicked. "Hey Caroline! Change of plans! Necklace to Tina!"
Day 73. Caroline looked at me for a moment and tore off the burning necklace, her body calming down as she rushed over to Tina to give the necklace to her. I also rushed over to her to explain the change of plan. "Tina, you'll continue with fire attacks. Caroline, do whatever you think is the most appropriate thing to do at the moment. Now, charge!!!"
Day 74. Suddenly we were surrounded by ice and shards of stones. "Bloody fucken hell Snips! You've gotten a great crew for yourself haven't you?" I heard Maniac's voice echo. More shards appeared and quickly separated us all. I tried to breathe, but couldn't. "No. No no no no." I started to tear up. Was this it? Was this the end? I tried to scratch away at the walls that were closing in. I fainted.
Day 75. I woke up to explosions. From the small crack I could still see the sun. That means that not much time has passed. The explosions got louder and grew nearer. The stone prison turned into dust around me and the sight that layed out blew my mind. Ann had wings! Only Ziana had had wings. But how did this happen? How long was I out for? "Tina! What's happening?" I tried to speak, but failed.
Day 76. "Snips! Give your earrings to Ann!" Caroline shouted. I could barely hear it over the ringing in my ears. I saw Maniac behind the summoning circle heaving for breath. Ann was over on our side, wings stretched wide to shield us. I limped over to her after taking off my earrings and giving them to her. She thanked me as she put them on and her hair turned into a rosy pink colour.
Day 77. "Ha! Haha hah! You really think you can beat me?" Maniac laughed. "Angelica! Our mother was nothing, but a lousy excuse for a person! Because of her we have no reason to even live! Join forces with me and let's take down the gods! Our fathers who used her and left us in abandonment to rot!" I hiccuped. "Don't tell me you've grown soft about that witch? She tortured us by all means. Where were they?" He roared in anger.
Day 78. She said nothing as they approached each other, meeting in the middle of the circle filled by bunch of different things. Like 6 yellow and red roses, 3 rubies, a silver dagger, a gold coin, a bottle of moon water, a dead bird, some strawberries and blueberries as well as a half burnt apple tree log. Both of them were in the middle where scraches, marks and symbols were more frequent as Ann punched Maniac in the nose.
Day 79. He bled out. I looked around for others to discover they were all beside or behind me. As Maniacs blood tropped on the ground the air thickened. "Everyone duck!" I screeched and pulled Tina with me as I jumped behind the ruins and stones. The thunderbolts started hitting the center of the circle where Ann and Maniac were. I peeked over the edge when I heard more manic laughter.
Day 80. "Who DARES to summon me?" Asked a dark, deep male voice that had even more authority than I had ever heard. It's presence sent shivers down my spine, deep into my bones. I wanted to see what it was and run away so bad. "ANSWER ME! You mortal fools!" Shaking, I pulled myself up to look over the fallen obelisk. What I saw shook my mind. In the middle of, what once was the summoning circle, in ashes stood a man
