Chapter Text
Molly was sitting on Brian's couch with a giant bowl of ice cream in her lap watching some movie she'd put on. Brian had come home finding her sitting at the kitchen table with a jigsaw puzzle half put together. He knew that she was one of a few people that had a key to his place. He had given her one months ago when she'd showed up in the pouring rain soaked after she'd run away from her dad's place. She'd been sleeping curled up on the floor with her wet coat over her. He'd just gotten back from a work event not knowing how long she'd been there. He'd told her she never had to wait outside again if she showed up and no one was there to make herself at home.
They had finished the puzzle and played two different games. They had also made multiple prank phone calls to Michael and one to Ian. It had been her idea and he couldn't help his self. He especially had loved the one she'd made to the stupid fiddler. He'd needed to have some fun after a rough week. If he couldn't have the Taylor, he loved the most, it was nice to have a piece of him here at least. It also had explained why she was here unannounced. He had meant to call Justin earlier, but he'd lost track of time. He took out his phone before dialing the first number on speed dial waiting for it to pick up. He hoped he would actually answer his call.
It only took a moment for Justin to answer though. "Brian, can you do me a favor and maybe drive to my mom's and see if Molly's there?" Justin asked sounding a little frantic. "It's a long story, but she ran away, and I don't know where she's at or how long she's been gone. She was supposed to be with Ethan..."
"Molly's okay, it's why I'm calling you. She's here at the loft. She's been here about five hours or so. I got here three hours ago, and she said she'd been here for two." Brain explained. "Do you want me to come get you because she's refusing to go anywhere near the apartment again."
"I'll be there in a little, I was just leaving the apartment." Justin said. "She's okay right? Nothing happened on her way there?"
"She's fine, Sunshine. She's eating ice cream and watching a movie. We played games and did a puzzle." Brain said. "Just use your key to get in." He added.
"Okay, thanks." Justin said before he hung up.
Brain sighed putting his phone down before he went back over to the couch. He hoped Justin wouldn't be too upset that Molly had run away, but he didn't blame her. He wouldn't take being called names either. He'd once told her that the only person she could count on one hundred percent was herself. Justin had told him not to teach her that because not everyone was cruel in the world. He after all trusted him, but that was months ago, and Justin had left him.
"How mad do you think Justn's going to be at mom and me for what we did?" Molly asked. "I didn't think he'd been that horrible, I just wanted Jus to come back here where he belongs." She said with a sigh leaning against Brian's side. "The fiddler is an asshole. He stole your prince away. You should have said something though. Daph said you should have fought for him. So, mommy and I helped a bit. Just tell him that you love him. Don't tell me it's not that easy either. If my dad can say he disowns Justin, then you can easily say you love him. He got lost." Molly said before taking a bite of the ice cream.
"What should I do then? He already left, Blue." Brain asked using the nickname he called her.
She'd taken some of Justin's blue paint one weekend and put it in her hair. She had wanted to dye her hair completely blue, but that hadn't happened. Jennifer had agreed to the streak of blue though. Justin and she had been in his bathroom doing it on her birthday. He had walked in seeing the mess telling them they were going to clean it up before they left. He still remembered the day she'd shown up here dressed in combat boots and all black demanding to see Justin. That had been before she'd been lying outside the loft that night.
Justin had been having a rough day and forgot about spending it with her. Justin had been sick from a migraine after a horrible nightmare. Instead of Justin taking her out for pizza he'd asked her what she'd wanted to do instead. It had found him at the bowling alley with four of her friends. Justin had been smiling when he'd gotten back after dropping Molly off at home. Justin had made it up to him though when he'd felt better. These days he didn't really mind Molly being around. She had Justin's attitude that was for sure, but he'd never consider her a bitch or a nightmare. Hell, he actually enjoyed her company.
"Tell him you love him, Bri. Just say the words and apologize to him for being a butt by not saying it sooner." Molly replied. "I'll help, but you have to say the words. I mean come on, you love me and my mom. You don’t say it, but seriously you took me and my friends bowling. That is love as I have been told by my mom. You also held not only mine, but my mom’s hair while we were all throwing up with the stomach flu. You take care of all three of us really, but Justin the most."
"Thanks. I didn't know what it felt like until I met him. I didn't even know what it looked like." Brian said because he hadn't had a good childhood. It had gotten a little better when he'd met Michael, but these days even that friendship was failing.
Molly was right about that though. He had come to love the three Taylor’s. Justin had been first though, and he’d known it at Prom when he walked in. He found that his heart had opened to not only Justin, but his mom and sister not long after that. The day that Jennifer had come here asking him to take care of Justin. To help her son be able to be touched again was when he realized she had a lot of heart. Molly though, he wasn’t sure how that happened. It was probably when Daphne brought her here that night, she’d wanted Justin. The girl had been sobbing after her parents’ fight.
"Well now you do, and you also have your son, plus two more Taylor's that love you." Molly stated before the loft door opened.

Justin used his key he hadn't even given back to get into the loft. It was mostly dark inside except for the TV that was on. He spotted Brian on the couch and then his sister when he got closer. He wanted to yell at her for scaring him to death, but he was beyond relieved to see her at the same time. She got up giving him a hug before he could say anything. He hugged her back with a sigh of relief. She was safe and hadn't been hurt.
"Please don't do that again. I didn't know where you'd gone when I got there." Justin said.
"I'm sorry, but when he called me a bitch and a nightmare I refused to stay where I wasn't wanted. He told me to leave because I wasn't welcomed there either." Molly explained. "I would have called you, but my phone died on me. When Brian got home, we had food and did stuff. He knew you wouldn't have gotten back there yet so he waited til he thought you were leaving." She went on.
"I did call your mom letting her know she was here." Brian said. "Do you want something to eat? There's leftovers and I got your favorite ice cream in the freezer." He offered.
"I should just get her back to mom's. I can eat there." Justin said.
"We are not leaving here now. We just started this movie and mom didn't get cable. We only got basic stations. There is a Jaws marathon on, and I am not about to watch it alone or with just you. You always have nightmares about being eaten alive so we're staying here. The bed's big enough or I can sleep on the couch while you two make up." Molly grinned before going over to Brian and pushing him towards Justin. "Start talking." She said. "Make sure you say the words out loud too. They start with I and end with you with a heart in the middle."
Brian failed at hiding his smile at what Molly was doing. She'd already tried earlier today now she was at it again. However, he wasn't like Ian. He wasn't going to do anything but take her advice. He took a deep breath before he moved a little closer to Justin.
"I'm not good at this stuff. I thought if I did things that it was showing you what I felt. I didn't know how to say the words. I think your sister is hilarious and your mom is wonderful. I still wonder what she was thinking giving you to me, but she asked me to fix her son. She asked me to help you be touched again. I didn't know that in the process of helping you get better that I'd figure out what it means to be with someone. I know I fucked up a lot, but I'm still learning. I love you, Justin. I should have told you sooner, but I hope I'm not too late."
Justin was standing there not sure what to say because it wasn't what he thought Brian was going to say. He'd heard what his sister said, but Brian actually saying those words, he never thought he'd hear them. He had gone from frantic about Molly and pissed that Ethan just let her go to relieved. Right now, he was terrified he was dreaming.
"He just poured out his heart say something." Molly said pulling Justin from his thoughts. "Do you need to hear more? I know a lot of stuff. He sat outside your room every night until sunup when you were in the hospital. He is still paying for your health insurance. He's the one that puts the money in your bank every month. I know I said it was mom and she went along with it, but it's been Brian. Even if you went Psycho and broke some stupid rules that you made up half of them yourself, he still loves and cares for you. I mean jeez he's paying for your school. Last week when the heat went out in the apartment it wasn't because the landlord fixed it just cause. I let it slip to him and he had the guy fix it." Molly sighed. "Do I really need to keep going here at what he's done for you?" She asked with her hands on her hips.
"You where there at the hospital?" Justin asked because that shocked him the most of all. The heat was a close second because he hadn't even thought about someone else doing something about it.
Brian nodded because he couldn't find his voice right now. Molly had just given away the biggest secret he had kept hidden. He hoped that the tears that were threatening to fall from Justin weren't a bad sign. He would do anything for him because he had gotten inside where no one besides Gus had gotten. Justin had shattered him when he'd walked out, and it was mostly his fault too.
"Why didn't you tell me? I thought you didn't care about me anymore. I thought I was broken to you, and you wanted nothing to do with a broken..." Justin started.
"You are not broken. Do you hear me, don't you dare call yourself broken. You were hurt not broken, never broken." Brian said finding his voice moving to Justin. "I didn't leave the first three days you were there. The only reason I did the fourth day was because I didn't want you to freak out when you woke up. I was still covered in your blood." He sighed before taking Justin's hand moving his thumb over the back of it. "I love you, I never stopped. You broke my fucking heart walking out, but I still love you."
Justin moved the last few inches wrapping his arm around Brian. "I still love you too." He held on tight and when Brian let go of his right hand, he put both arms around him. "Can I come home?" He asked.
"Thank god, yes you are moving back in here because that fucking fiddler is horrible. I mean I was acting bitchy, but jeez no need to have a freak out." Molly said dramatically.
Brian laughed. "Yes, you can come home. I only got one condition. You have to help me get the remote from your sister. I am not watching Jaws again." Brain said.
Justin was the one that laughed then before he kissed Brain putting everything, he felt into it. Brian returned the kiss putting just as much love into it as he was getting. After a moment they pulled away for air resting their heads against each other.
"I'll give you twenty bucks if you hand over the remote, Molly." Justin offered.
"Fifty. I just suffered horribly to get you to see the light as mom says." Molly countered.
"She did suffer." Brian admitted. "Forty and you can stay up watching something else."
"Forty-five or you take me to the Britney Spears concert and get me what I want there?" Molly replied.
"You are rubbing off on her too much, Sonny boy. Fine, fifty, but we don't mention the prank phone calls ever." Brian offered.
"Deal." Molly agreed before they shook on it.
"What prank phone calls?" Justin asked looking at them.
"Don't know what you're talking about. I'm going to go watch Home Alone." Molly said sitting back on the couch. "You two feel free to do whatever, just don't get loud."
“We are not having sex with you here, Blue.” Brian said. “Though when your mom takes her home. Your ass is mine, Sonny boy. Oh, and you better not even think about playing that god awful music again.” He added.
“I won’t. I’ll have to get my stuff later, but for now a movie with you two doesn’t sound bad.” Justin smiled.
Molly smiled because it had worked. It hadn’t gone quiet as planned yet Justin wasn’t going back to Ian. Maybe her medaling had worked after all. She was glad even if for a few minutes she had been upset. Brian had cheered her up, this was making her happier though. It was all in a day’s work.
“Don’t forget to feed him.” Molly said as she turned the station.
