“It’s strange, the downsides of the Aldecaldo life would usually involve bribes to get past checkpoints and looking out for shady deals. There was also the added bonus of city people not being fans.”
V is at the end of the line of a Haven Springs hiking trail with Judy, Steph and Alex.
During the Aldecaldos travel coming to Haven Springs V and Judy bonded with Alex and Steph rather quickly, from the shared experiences of drifting from one home to another trying to find somewhere to fit in and the shock of seeing V effortlessly bonding with Valkyrie.
They have since hung out together introducing V’s pets with Nibbles trying to be friends with Val who was having none of that, and V’s iguana at the caravan where Steph and Alex were also introduced to the Quarian and Geth which along with catching their geeked-out side and Steph’s next tabletop inspiration.
Steph responds to V’s statement, “So..not so use to people being nice to you?”
“Not saying there weren’t any friendly faces back then, “ V answers, “it’s just, now, more.”
“We’re here.” Alex says out loud stopping at their destination with Panam and Charlotte waiting for them.
“Juuuuuuuuuveeeeeee” Panam greets V and Judy looking like she’s seen 12 new colors.
Judy chuffs a quick laugh at the lightweight, “Someones high.”
“Am I? I guess, I did have more of those brownies than I should’ve…”
Charlotte drawing a silly version of Panam getting high closes her sketchpad, “Yeah… the extras were meant for the rest of you but someone had the munchies.”
“I regret nothing.” Panam responds.
The rest of the group sets up their camp all the while Judy admires the land and nature before her with a gasp.
She sees a deer, a real and alive deer rubbing it’s antlers on a tree, Judy takes a moment just watching the deer, her eyes eventually drifting to a colorful singing bird.
V wraps her arms around Judy’s waist making her jump in surprise,
“Enjoying the view?”
Holding onto V’s hand with a glowing smile, “I never imagined this would happen, aside from your pets and some BDs I’ve only seen fish and bugs.”
V kisses the side of Judy’s neck “Didn’t I tell you when we left NC that we’d find a new beginning?”
“Shut up, you had no idea this would happen!”
“Eh… I was half right, I’ll take it.”
Judy bops her head to V’s, “Fine if you say so, you gonk.”
“Think you can try feeding it?”
“Seriously?”
“Doesn’t hurt to try worst case the deer just bolts it.”
V reaches her pockets getting out a snack when Alex stops them.
“Uh, trust me it seems like a fun idea but they’ll want more and won’t stop.”
V and Judy look disappointed they can’t feed the wildlife.
Living in a world where seeing an animal is a privilege doesn’t give them a lot of opportunities to learn the do’s and don’ts of wildlife.
Despite the warning, the young deer slowly made way to the nomads and nuzzles up to them winning them over and making V give the treat much to Alex’s protest, who shakes her head and shrugs.

“Really? Horse hooves in gummies doesn’t sound disturbing?” Steph and V are comparing secret ingredients for different types of foods.
“Nope, pizza where I’m from shares it’s DNA with styrofoam.”
“Theres this guy Joel, old and scruffy, lived in a city where they rationed out grilled, rats.”
Charlotte winces from this conversation, “Can we please talk about something else?”
V smiles to reassure Charlotte and takes a cookie, “Then how about these cookies? They also psyche?”
“Just cookies, but if I knew the edibles were gonna be scarfed down I would’ve brought more.”
Steph looks around and sees Panam laying on the ground like a starfish, and Judy bent over talking to her. “You hold your liquor like a champ I’m surprised the same isn’t true for this stuff.”
Panam stares at Judy with a relaxed smile, “Anyone ever tell you your hair looks like a watermelon?”
“No Hermana, I haven’t heard that before.” She quietly and gently pulls Panam up to her feet, taking her to her tent.
When Judy finishes she notices a tiny yellow creature with pointy ears and a leaf on top of their head stem. She picks the plant like creature by the stem which responds with a squeaky babbling and flailing.
“What are you?”
She lets the plant out from the tent who then scurries off.
“You’ll get bugs climbing on you laying in the grass like that Pan.”
“Uh-huh…” Panam drifts into a cozy slumber where Judy leaves her with a few more of those plant-animals hanging from her loose overalls strap.

V and Judy are sitting on at the edge of a lakeside facing a sizable waterfall, playing with more of those plant-animals until they all take off in unison when night draws.
“Guess they don’t like night time.” V said.
Judy rests her head on V’s shoulder, “Then we get to enjoy the view for ourselves.”
The night goes on where everyone else turns in for the night with the two still up and gazing the lake lit up by the moon, wind traveled pedals decorating the body of water.
very picturesque and they both see an opportunity with the setting before them.
With a long look into each others eyes V starts brushing the back of her fingers across Judy’s jawline, gently caressing the side of her face all the while Judy takes in V’s touch and presses her lips to V’s wrist.
Judy pull’s V’s face towards her for a slowly heated kiss, “Te quiero” escapes Judy’s breath as her kisses trickle downward to V’s neck and shoulder.
V let’s out blissful sighs as her fingers brush through Judy’s hair.
V lets Judy discard her top, it’s quickly followed by Judy grabbing V’s face with both hands for a deeper kiss mounted on the merc’s laps.
She pushes V down on her back and starts undressing herself whilst still on top.
As Judy takes control of the moment, V rests her hands on Judy’s thighs when Judy directs V’s hands to her stomach and chest. Judy makes a game out of stripping down V and herself then leads her lover into the water hand in hand, the lake gives them a quick chill which would not last as they hold each other close keeping the other warm, their hearts racing, their lips touching the other’s skin, V sinks lower into the pure lake water urging Judy to join her with her eyes and Judy responds with an enthusiastic giggle.
V traces down Judy’s waist slowly inching between her thighs.
Judy wraps her arms and one leg around V giving herself over to the circular motions of V’s fingers.
The sounds coming from Judy are angelic to V’s ears who’s mouth is currently occupied by the red webbed tattoo.
The circling fingers finally enter inside causing Judy’s breathing to quicken, “Valarie… I love you,” her moans further fuels V on pleasing her.
“Please don’t stop, please!” V continues her intensity, Judy clutches onto V while her intensity increases until she can’t hold on anymore, her whole lower body trembling and losing balance but V is there to keep her standing at least until Judy regains her composure after a few minutes and with her breathtaking smile, decides to take control with a slight push towards the waterfall and takes her time to worship the other’s body with a restrained bite to an earlobe along one handful of boob and the other lifting V’s knee.
From the earlobe Judy moves downward to kiss V’s cheek then to her neck and gets the urge to mark that neck with her lips, to hear V sing just as much as she did.
V lifts up Judy’s chin for a kiss before letting her get to work which entails Judy kissing V’s abs worshiping her breasts and ever so slowly creating the anticipation as she aims lower and lower.
Judy starts by kissing the mound twice and her magical tongue agonizingly teases V’s clit just barely making contact.

Judy responds with 3 quick kisses on V’s chin, lips then cheeks, “I love you too Calabacita.”

As they all leave the day after there were a few glances and brief awkward smiles, though they’ed quickly engage with their banters and goofs it became clear to Judy and V, they might have overheard
