Chapter Text
The two-story motel they end up at is a bit run down, but they’re not in a place to complain as long as the heat works and they have a bed to sleep in.
Driving back to Jungkook's parents wasn't a logical option in the current weather conditions. Maybe they should've just stayed another night.
"One or two beds?" the front desk lady asks.
"One," Jungkook says and then they're handed a key to their room.
It's a simple, cheap room-a queen bed with plaid bedding, unappealing brown carpet flooring, a small TV set, two chairs at a coffee table. Yoongi went over to the radiator to check that the heat was working. He held his hand over the radiator, and sure enough it was kicking.
"I might take a shower. Wanna join me?"
“I showered this morning, you go ahead," Yoongi says. "I’m gonna go see if I can get something warm for us to drink, and maybe some extra blankets,"
“Okay, thanks.”
The concierge happens to have a pot on and gives him two styrofoam cups of hot coffee, and adds sugar and creamer to Jungkook's. Not the best thing to have right before bed but he’ll drink anything to get his body temperature back up.
Yoongi returns and removes his winter coat, beanie, and scarf. He fusses around with the TV to see what channels come through - which aren't many. He settles on the news to see if there's an update on the storm most of Busan is caught in. Apparently, it'll be going on all night but should let up by early morning.
He hears the shower shut off. Jungkook reappears out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist to get his clothing out of his bag. Yoongi hands him his coffee.
"It's instant so don't expect it to taste delicious,"
"Thank you," he goes back into the bathroom but keeps the door open. Jungkook resumes washing his face and running his fingers through his wet strands.
Yoongi shivers and goes to get under the blanket. His sweater was warm but his hands were freezing. His throat felt very parched and tight, but all he had was some coffee to wash down.
Jungkook returns clothed and sits on the edge of the bed to drink his cup. He looks up at him. “You okay?”
“Yeah, I’m fine, just got the chills,”
"You should take a bath - it'll help warm you up,"
"Yeah, maybe,"
"I got it,"
"I can do it," he rushes to say but Jungkook has already got up to go run his bath for him.
Yoongi thinks a bath might be a good idea. His bones felt achy, and his body lethargic. Probably the cold.
Jungkook's placed a towel and robe down on the sink for him and calls him when his water is ready.
When he steps into the hot bath, it immediately comforts him, and he sinks right in letting the steam seep into his skin. His eyes shut almost automatically in an attempt to relax. He felt sleepy. And if he wasn't careful, he could accidentally fall asleep in the tub.
This is definitely not how he saw their day ending, but at least they were able to find some shelter in such short notice. Yoongi was worried about the ride back to Seoul tomorrow, if they would both get to work on time, if the storm will actually pass by then. He had a tight-packed schedule ahead tomorrow and he wasn't looking forward to it, but he couldn't miss out on it either.
At least Jungkook was here with him in this storm, even if they're trapped together at some crummy motel in the middle of a blizzard.
Yoongi still hasn't fully processes their conversation in the car - the fact that Jungkook loves him back - that Yoongi's returned love for him didn't scare him away or make things weird between them. It finally felt like time was on their side, and so what if he had to wait some years to get at this point - finally, their hearts and feelings were aligned.
All their lies were aired out too and it took a massive weight off his shoulders and conscious. Jungkook knows everything now and Yoongi does too. And he has no idea what they're going to do now, but he knows they have time to figure it out and they can do so together.
Jungkook is right - the bath does warm him up but it doesn't make the achy feeling go away. Some sleep is all he needs. He comes out in his robe and climbs into bed behind him to spoon him as Jungkook's attention is caught on the TV screen. He's watching some cartoon that was likely made before they were even born.
“What’s this?
His head turned slightly. “You’ve never seen this? I used to watch this all the time as a kid,”
“Wasn’t allowed to watch much TV during the day growing up, my mom said it would rot my brain and turn me into a drug dealer,”
“That’s tough,”
Without expecting it, the back of his hand lays on his forehead. “You’re a bit warm..”
“I just got out of a warm bath, that’s why,” he reasons. Yoongi felt fine. He feels both hot and cold, but the shivers have subsided and now he just needs some rest. Checkout is at ten but they’ll need to be back in Seoul before noon. “We might need to leave early tomorrow, in case there’s a lot of traffic,”
“Yeah, we should do that,”
Jungkook turns and brings an arm around his middle instead, now lying face-to-face. He brings the quilt over their frames. “Thanks for coming down with me,”
“Of course. You know I love your parents,”
“They love you too. Always asking about you when I call them,”
“Yeah, my mom asks about you too,”
Their feet intertwine under the blankets and Jungkook is so warm and the embodiment of comfort. “Do you remember that one summer we spent at the beach when we were trainees?”
It was Jungkook’s birthday weekend and all he would talk about for months prior is how much he wanted to go to the beach. It was the first time he met and stayed with Jungkook’s parents. “And you got stung by that jellyfish,”
“And then you said you would pee on me to help relieve the pain,” Yoongi's chest vibrated with laughter. “You were getting ready to pee on me! You chased me around the beach, don’t you remember?”
“I was not going to actually pee on you, you were just fun to tease,”
“Sure you weren’t,”
“We’ll have to go again sometime,”
“Yeah,”
Jungkook's head falls onto his shoulder softly. “I’m so happy,”
Yoongi snuggled closer. “Why?”
“Because you love me,” he felt him smile. “And I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in the world than here with you in this shitty motel,”
“You’re sweet,” Yoongi lightly bumped his forehead against his and closed his eyes.
Yoongi was happy too, and everything about right now felt so perfect.
“I’m sorry I was so rough with you earlier,” Jungkook spoke quietly and Yoongi peeked his eyes open at his guilty expression. “That was…I don’t know what came over me.”
Yoongi dragged Jungkook's hand up to his lips and pressed a kiss. He held it close to his chest. “Yeah that was…intense,” he agreed. “But I wasn’t not into it. We should argue more,” he said with a small smirk.
Jungkook snickered. “Oh…really?”
Yoongi nodded. “I couldn’t stop shaking after,”
“Yeah, me either,”
Jungkook was still distressingly biting his lip. “I’m really sorry I said all those things. And to be brutally honest...it wasn't even that good with him,"
Yoongi appreciated the apology but it wasn't needed. He knows they were only talking out of spite. And talking about Axel was ruining the happy buzz he had going on. “Can we not talk about him?”
“Of course. Sorry.” His hand went to his forehead again. “You’re sweating now, you sure you're feeling alright?”
"Just my body going from cold to warm too quick,"
“Lets take your socks off, and maybe remove the blanket,”
“Noo,” he childishly whined. “Need the blanket, I’m cold,”
“You’ve got me,” he says. "I'll keep you warm,"
He immediately shoves his now cold feet under Jungkook's calves.
“How are you not freezing too?”
“Yoongi, I think you’re getting sick..”
“It's just the weather, it's making me feel achy. Just need some sleep,"
“Alright then, get some rest, hyung.” he shuts their lamp and TV off and then there is only darkness and Jungkook's warm arm around his body.
And true to his word, Jungkook holds him all night to keep him warm.

When he wakes, Jungkook’s blotting a damp cloth along his neck and back. “Cold,” he murmurs.
“Baby, you’re burning up. You go from shivering to sweating within minutes."
He wakes up a little more and even as he shifts it hurts. His body felt so heavy and weak. “Fuck. I can’t be sick today,”
"I think it goes without saying you're not going to work,"
He made a disapproved sound. "I can't miss work - I have so much shit to do,"
"You know if anyone sees you ill they're just going to send you home, right?"
He made a sleepy groan. "I just need to take something,"
Jungkook pulled away. “I’m gonna see if the front desk has any medicine, I’ll be right back.”
Yoongi made a hum in acknowledgement and heard Jungkook dress to go outside.
When his eyes flick open again, Jungkook has their bags on the floor by the door. “Hey, I got some Tylenol,"
Yoongi forced himself to sit up more and accept the tablets with a bottle of water.
"What time is it?"
"A little after eight. I left you some clothes out. I’m gonna go put our bags away and pull the car around.”
Well, fuck. So much for sleeping the aches away. Yoongi moves lethargically as he dresses himself. He hated to admit it - but he was indeed not feeling well. Hopefully the medicine would kick in fast so he could stop feeling the dreadful body aches.
Thankfully, the snow has stopped, but it's still icy out and a blanket of three feet of snow to show for it.
He sleeps during most of the ride. And when he blinks his eyes open again, suddenly they’re in Dongjak-gu, and only half an hour away from home. Jungkook's got the radio on low and is softly tapping along the wheel to whatever song that plays. Yoongi watches him subtly before his eyelids shut once again.
“Hey,” he softly jostles him. “We’re here,” Yoongi looked out of the window and saw his apartment building.
Jungkook, the gentleman he is, carries his luggage up to his floor and it truly warms his heart.
While it was nice to get away for a couple days, returning back to his apartment brings a wave of relief. Now he could be sick in the comfort of his own home.
Yoongi instantly moves to sink into the couch when they walk in his place. Despite all the sleep he got over night and on the drive over, he still felt tired. And there was no way he was going to be able to drag himself to work in this state.
"I guess I have to call out,"
Jungkook bit his lip. "I-um, already called you out when you were asleep in the car."
"Oh?" he doesn't have it in him to fight him about calling out for him. He honesty felt more appreciative than anything. "Thanks."
"Yeah.." Jungkook was standing there watching him with a worried frown. He's been staring at him with a worried frown for the past ten hours. It's just a cold - not the end of the world.
Yoongi tries to give a reassuring smile. “I’m okay, just gonna sleep it off. Do you mind turning the light off before you leave?”
Jungkook didn’t make move to leave. He continued to stare. “I could..stay for a bit? I could make us some soup? You haven't eaten all day..”
“Not sure if I’ll have all the ingredients,”
“I’ll order us soup then!" he decides and pulls his phone out of his pocket.
Instinctively, he wants to say no, it's fine, i can take care of myself. But Yoongi doesn't want him to go. And as weird as it is to have Jungkook look after him...he kind of likes it. Likes that Jungkook cares so much. And he seems to want to, too. They always take care of each other. But it feels different now. It feels sweet. “That would be nice. Thank you,"
And so they eat soup on his couch and watch some foreign game show Jungkook puts on.
Jungkook's phone keeps dinging on the coffee table but he continues to ignore it.
“I thought you said you had a work thing today?” he asks.
He shook his head, eyes still attached to the screen. “No, I don’t. I rescheduled it.”
“Jungkook,” he complained. “Don’t do that because of me,”
“You’re very sick!” he reasons. “And it’s all my fault. So yes, I called out to take care of you. Fight me.”
“It’s not your fault I got sick,” Yoongi defends. “And you’re just gonna get sick from me,”
“Nah, I’m on every supplement you can think of - I’ve got the immune system of a God,”
Yoongi shook his head at him. That's his stubborn boy. “Yeah - okay, whatever you say.”
When they're finished eating and watched two episodes of Family Feud Yoongi says, “You don’t have to stick around, you know,”
Jungkook faked annoyance. “Are you trying to kick me out?”
He chuckled. “Not at all, but I’m not much fun now,”
“Maybe I want to stick around,” he says and shifts closer to lean his head on his shoulder.
“You enjoy hanging around sick people?”
“I enjoy hanging around you,"
When he looks down, Jungkook’s head is slumped, his eyes cast and chest slowly rising. He must be tired, driving for hours and then taking care of him all day. Yoongi brought his arm around him and softly stroked up and down his side.
“Was I really the one to make you realize you were gay or were you just saying that so you could get your hand in my pants?”
Jungkook snorted. “I was serious. It’s true. I kept having dreams about you kissing me and stuff and it freaked me out but also made me hard,”
Yoongi smirked. “That’s adorable,” he sighed with his head back. “God, I really hope your parents didn’t hear us having sex,” Yoongi cringed.
Jungkook vibrated with laughter. “You were kind of loud..”
Yoongi hated that his face heated up. “Shut up. Your fault for picking a fight with me.”
“I didn't realize picking a fight with you would get you so hot and bothered,"
“You were purposely provoking me and it was pissing me off. And then you kept getting all up in my space so I thought fuck it,"
"What about you? When did you realize you liked me?"
"I don't know...I think I kept denying it for a long while, telling myself it was just adoration. There were so many times I wanted to kiss you - but I was scared you would get freaked out and punch me or something,"
"Punch you? Come on now..."
"Not that I thought you were homophobic, I know you weren't, but...I couldn't do it. I couldn't make a move on you. And anyway, I thought you were super straight."
"Well, clearly, I'm not." he snorted.
"Yeah...I've figured that out."
Jungkook's head moves to his chest this time, his knees curled up and arms hooked around his lap. Yoongi thought he was so cute, and he couldn't dare kick him out now.
“Actually, you should sleep here,” he says, filtering his fingers through his hair.
“Yeah?" he murmured sleepily. “Don’t move, though, your chest is comfortable,”
“So I’m your pillow?”
“Mm, yes. Is that a problem?"
He smiled softly. "Not at all."
“Cool," he said before drifting off.
Yoongi couldn't find it in himself to complain, even if he was sick, this is exactly where he wanted to be.

When he wakes, the other side of the bed is empty. He figures Jungkook took off.
Deciding it was time to get up, he walks down the hallway and finds said man in his living room doing push-ups.
He paused. “Uh…morning?"
He finishes his set and then stands, face pink and chest slightly damp where his shirt sticks to his skin. “Morning. How’re you feeling?”
“Still a little sick, but my body doesn’t hurt anymore,” he says. "What's with the push ups?"
"I wanted to get a quick work out in without going to the gym,"
"Okay.."
“I'll make us some tea," he decides and goes into the kitchen.
Yoongi raised a brow but said nothing. He sat on the stool at the counter and gazed around the kitchen and living room. His apartment wasn't exactly a mess when he got back in but it certainly looks tidier than it did yesterday.
"Did you...clean up?"
He presented him with his cup of tea and shrugged. "A little bit. I was bored and if I see a mess you know I have to clean it,"
"Yeah," he said funnily. "But you didn't have to do that. It's my mess,"
"I hardly cleaned, relax,"
Yoongi watched him sip his tea. "Well, thank you, anyway."
He shrugged once more. "It was no trouble. You always used to clean up after me when we lived together...so now I can return the favor,"
"It was just dishes," he argues. "And I didn't mind,"
"And I don't mind either," they stared at each other. Yoongi grew a small grin.
"Don't tell me you called out again,"
"Unfortunately, no, I can't - I have to pick up Parker from Taehyung's, he was watching him while we were in Busan. Then it's off to practice for the rest of the day,"
Yoongi nodded. "Practice?"
"Yup. For Melon this weekend,"
"Oh-fuck, that's right. They asked me to present an award,"
"So what I'm hearing is I get to see you in a suit?" he smirked behind his mug.
"You've seen me in a suit a dozen times,"
"And I wouldn't mind seeing you in a suit a dozen more times,"
"I still don't wanna go,"
"Come on. At least you don't have to perform choreography on stage,"
"You're right. Thank God for that," he chuckled.
"I need you to watch me. Cheer for me."
"Okay. I can do that," Yoongi cleared his throat. "You're nominated for four categories, you know that?"
"Yeah, Ayn told me. Crazy, right?"
"What's crazy about it? You've had an impressive year,"
"You know, I didn't know how things would go for me going solo...but I'm really glad I did it, even though I miss the guys."
"You should reach out to them...catch up. It's been enough time...they're probably not mad anymore,"
"I dunno...maybe I will,"
They drink their tea and Jungkook offers to make him breakfast. Yoongi watches him cook with his chin in his palm. It's a sight he's seen a hundred times over the years but watching him move now makes his chest flutter. It's nice having him here. Spending the past three days with him has been memorable, and now they had to return back to their regular lives and work. Yoongi was dreading it.
After breakfast, Jungkook makes him take some more pain relief and some of his vitamins.
“I swear I’m feeling a lot better,” he promises.
"Are you sure you can go back to work tomorrow?"
"It's just a cold now, I can't take any more days off, already behind schedule,"
"Okay, well," Jungkook was dressed in sweats and a t-shirt, his keys and phone in hand. He tried not to show how disappointed he was he had to leave. "I gotta go, but...I'll check in with you later?" he came up behind his stool and pressed a kiss to the back of his head. "Hope you feel better,"
Yoongi doesn't have time to react because when he turns, Jungkook's already out the door.
𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪
Yoongi’s first day back is hell. His whole day is booked and it's long hours for the rest of the week with the pace everything is going. More stupid useless meetings that could be summed up via email. Stubborn artists who don't like the way he mixes a song even though his sound director approves of it. It's stuffing protein bars in his mouth as he makes it from one floor to the other. Video calls. Training a newbie alongside everything that he doesn't have time to explain everything in detail to.
His fault for agreeing to so many projects and being unable to accept when his workload is becoming too much. If he hadn't gotten sick, those first two days would have gone a lot smoother, but he can't help the inventible.
And while he was feeling better, his body was exhausted from fighting the cold, all on top of the stress of meeting deadlines.
Yoongi wishes he could go back to a few days ago in his apartment when Jungkook was draped around him and they were drifting off to sleep together. It sounds perfect right now.
A knock at his door makes him perk up out of his sleepy state. His secretary enters with a friendly smile and with what looks like a cup of coffee.
"Sorry to interrupt, Jungkook-ssi dropped this off for you, he said he was in a hurry but to make sure you got this," she placed the to-go cup on his desk.
"Oh, thank you," he said partly confused. He picked it up and took a tentative sip. It wasn't coffee-but tea, Oolong tea. His favorite. His secretary bowed lightly and made her leave.
It's from the cafe down the street he goes to meet with clients sometimes. He inhales the still-hot tea. He must have just swung by. Yoongi was sad he didn't come deliver it himself, but he knows they're both on tight schedules. It was thoughtful of him.
He turns the cup around and notices a small sticky-note on it that reads: miss you
Yoongi peeled the note off and smiled down at it. He placed it on his desk and continued drinking the tea.
thank you for the tea! he messages him. He doesn't get a reply but he knows he'll see it later.
It happens again the next day too, only this time it's small ceramic-vase of Anthuriums that his secretary brings him.
He doesn't even ask her who brought it, but she still says, "Looks like a secret admirer dropped this off for you,"
He accepts the ceramic vase and sees there's another sticky note on the bottom of it but doesn't go to read it yet. "It's probably from someone I worked with," he tells her because he knows how fast gossip will spread among the secretaries.
This note reads: to brighten up your studio - jk
The red leaves do compliment his rather stygian room. He places it at the end of his desk and gets back to work.
And when he comes into work the next morning, there's already a little something waiting for him on his desk. But it's not just a cup of tea or a plant - but a designer box, the logo reading Balenciaga.
He tentatively opens it up and pulls away the tissue paper, revealing a thick sweatshirt and a beanie. He pulls it out of the box and tries is on, it's a little big and the sleeves pool over his hands but what's important is that its's soft and warm. He picks up the note lying on top of the beanie
stay warm and don't get sick! x
-jk
Yoongi had no idea how to feel about the gift, or rather gifts, Jungkook's been regularly sending. He was touched, yes, but he was confused. What was with the gifts?
It was really sweet. And as much as he enjoyed the little deliveries he was making, Yoongi was not used to this sort of gift-giving behavior. If this continued, his secretaries are sure to solidify the idea he's got a secret admirer or even a significant other, and he wanted his personal life to remain as private as it can at work.
He takes his phone and decides to call him in the slight chance he'd answer at this hour.
To his surprise, he picks up on the third ring.
"You know - it's going to spur questions when you drop off flowers and coffee to my secretary every day," he greets.
"Hello to you too," he said. "What do you mean it's going to spur questions?"
"Because I -in my six years of working here - don't receive gifts. It's suspicious."
"I have other staff members drop it off, your secretary doesn't even know its me sending them,"
"Yes she does. She's nosy and reads the notes you send me,"
"Well maybe you should tell your secretary to stop being so invasive,"
"You don't need to keep dropping stuff off to me, it's really sweet, but,"
"You don't like it?"
"I-I do, but....you don't need to do all of that,"
"..But if you like it and I like doing it...why do I have to stop doing it?"
"Just...not every day, okay? I appreciate the sweatshirt, by the way,"
"Yeah, are you wearing it now?"
"I am," he grinned. "It's really soft,"
“I'll stop with the gifts, alright? Save them for special occasional only,"
"Thank you..."
"But I'm going to keep sending coffee and flowers, sorry,"
"Not every day.."
"Not every day," he agrees.

Jungkook thinks he can constantly surprise him with gifts and beverages, but now it's his turn.
Two can play this game.
During his lunch break he goes out to Jungkook's favorite chicken place and decides he's going to personally bring him lunch. He needs to make sure he's eating well, he's awfully busy, and he knows he can forget to eat.
He makes it to where Jungkook said he'd be at for the majority of the day and runs into Ayn.
"Oh - hey. Were you just with Jungkook?"
"Yes - going to take a quick smoke,"
He hands her the bag. "Can you give this to him? It's just some food,"
She stares at the bag for a moment before retrieving it. "Sure, but he's doing some interviews right now, so I'll wait until he's done to give it to him,"
"Okay, thanks. I heard he'd be doing them all day long. I just wanted to drop that off before my next recording, so,"
"You feeling better?" she asks as he turns to walk away. He faces her.
"Huh? Oh, yeah, much better. Thanks."
"That's good. I heard you were quite ill,"
"Yes. But thankfully, I made a quick recovery."
"Jungkook seems to be in a playful mood lately,"
"Hm. That's good,"
"I thought he would be stressed, given our drummer has decided to randomly quit right before our Melon performance this weekend,"
He paused. "Axel quit?"
She nodded. "Yup. Got the email yesterday."
“That’s um - well shit.”
“All is well. Already hired another guy for the performance."
“That was fast,”
“Hired through the company so didn’t really need an audition, which is a relief for me, I don’t have time for that shit,”
“So odd he randomly quit," he says because he's not sure if Ayn knows that their fling has come to an end. He doesn't know if Jungkook even told her they were hooking up. I mean, she must know, right? You can't hide anything from Ayn.
He won't admit it out loud, but he's over the moon he's gone. Axel's a talented guy, he can find work anywhere.
"And this has nothing to do with you?"
He scoffed. "Me? Why would I have anything to do with Axel quitting?"
She shrugged. Yoongi doesn't know the reason he decided to quit either. Maybe he found a better gig. Axel was only a temporary drummer for tour, anyway. "The timing is just a little funny,"
Yoongi's not going to fall for her intimidation. He won't admit anything to her because what happened between him and Jungkook will remain between only them until either of them discuss to do so otherwise. "This is a shock to me, really. But I'm sure Axel had his reasons."
"Right."
He cleared his throat. "Well. I have to get going. Please make sure he gets his lunch. Thank you,"

Here the text read and Yoongi got out of his chair to go meet him in the lobby.
“Hey,” Yoongi greeted. Jooyoung was carrying a paper bag and cup holder.
“I brought lunch,”
“Oh - thanks, that's nice,"
Yoongi led them back up to his studio. He had a free hour to spare and he thought it’d be a switch-up to actually show Jooyoung his studio.
“So this is where the money maker makes his hits?” Jooyoung asks gazing around.
“Sometimes. Sometimes I work at home,”
They eat at his coffee table while Jooyoung makes commentary about all the things he discovers in his studio.
Yoongi never wanted to bring him into his work, or into his personal life, but well, he’s trying to keep his promise on being friends.
They already have a few things in common, they both love music, though they have vastly different tastes and opinions on what they’d define good music. They both have completed their military service. Both have a past of only resorting to quick, messy hookups with guys because around here it’s all you get.
He knows they probably have a lot more in common now that they’re actually talking and not just fucking and immediately parting, and Yoongi was interested in getting to know him. He doesn’t even know when his birthday is. Or what he does for work. What he likes to do for fun. He wanted to learn these things.
Jooyoung holds up his phone and presents him a picture of some guy from a dating app. “Hot, right?” he asks. It’s some round-faced guy with midnight black hair and a smoldering gaze.
“Yeah, cute. Looks like your type.”
“We’re meeting up tonight,”
“Oh yeah? Where at? Your bed?”
He snorted. “It’s a date. Like an actual one. We’re seeing a movie and getting food after. But - hey if he wants to fuck after, I’m not opposed.”
“Hope it goes well, then,”
“So what’s new with you?”
Yoongi licked the sauce from his lips and focused on chewing. He wasn’t sure how honest to be about the past few days. A lot happened. “Uh, I went to Busan for the weekend..with Jungkook,”
“Oh yeah?” he wiggled his eyebrows.
“To visit his parents,”
“Oh - that doesn’t sound very fun,”
“It was. I’ve known them for a while, I’ve known him for…a long time.”
“Hm, I didn’t know you guys were that close,”
“Yeah about that,” he starts. “I’m sort of in love with him,”
Jooyoung’s eyes widen. “Oh, shit. No fucking way,”
“Yeah,” he nodded. “And he loves me too,” his lips curve before he can stop it.
“Fuck, congrats man, that’s bitching. You two are a hot ass couple,”
He snorted. “Well…not dating yet, but hopefully soon.”
“Let me know if you’re ever looking for a third,” he smirked.
“Hm…I don’t think he’d be into an open relationship, sorry to crush your dreams,”
“I’m heartbroken. But I’ll get over it,” he chuckled. “But can you get this Jungkook guy to like me, though? Last time I was receiving a lot of glares,”
“Don’t mind him. He gets a little jealous. We both do,”
“Damn. Bet the sex is crazy,”
“I’m not discussing that with you,”
“Again, kidding.”
He rolled his eyes.
“I’m not sure how he’s going to react about uh..us being friends since he knows about our past,”
“I swear I won’t start anything. I’ll behave,”
“That’s probably best,” he snorted. “I really like him..and I want to show him I’m serious about only wanting him,”
“Shit, Min. You’re smitten, it’s adorable.”
“Yeah, I am,” he agrees, no denying it. Mark him down as whipped for Jeon Jungkook because it’s only a fact.
They move on to more mundane topics, Jooyoung asks him questions about work and he asks questions back. Yoongi learns Jooyoung works at a bank in central city, but claims he hates it and is looking for other work. Yoongi asks him if he’d be into bartending, he remembers Seokjin mentioning his uncle's bar was looking for new hires.
A knock at his door makes them both look up.
“Come in!” he calls out. It’s probably his secretary or his executive.
Only, it’s not either of them.
“Guk-ah, hi. What’s up?”
He hesitates at the door. “Oh - I didn’t know you were busy, sorry,”
Yoongi shook his head and beckoned him in. “Just having lunch, come in,”
Jooyoung stands and gathers his trash. “No worries, I gotta get going actually. Thanks for hanging,”
“Sure, let me know how your date goes,”
Jooyoung approaches Jungkook and offers a friendly grin to Jungkook’s rather blank expression. “Hi, Jungkook-ssi. Love the fit,”
“Thanks…” he stood aside to let Jooyoung out the door. Once he was gone, he shut the door and walked over to plop himself on the sofa next to him.
“How’s it going?” Yoongi asks.
“Just got back from a meeting. Was gonna see if you wanted to get lunch…but I see you already have,”
“Yeah, sorry, I invited him to eat with me.”
“Mhm…”
“We're trying to do the friend thing,” he fills in, because he knows how Jungkook’s brain works and the conclusions he’ll jump to.
“Were you friends before?”
“Well, uh…no, not really. But He wants to try - and so do I,”
“Hm…do you really think that’s going to work?”
“I don’t know. I mean, today was nice. It was progress.”
“He obviously still wants to fuck you.” Jungkook inserts.
“I told him it’s not happening again and he respects that,”
He made a disbelieving scoff.
“Hey - don’t get jealous, there’s no reason for it,”
"You forget I've walked in on you balls-deep in that guy? Am I supposed to pretend I never saw that every time I run into him?"
"To be fair - that was your fault for not knocking,"
Jungkook scoffed and looked away.
Yoongi can't even reprimand him, he gets how Jungkook is feeling. Every time he saw him and Axel together, it made him tense, eyes following them without even really meaning to, stomach falling when they'd so much as touch or lean in to talk to each other. “So, do you still want to fuck him, then? Like at all?”
“Guk-ah,” he said carefully, making sure Jungkook was looking right into his eyes. “I have absolutely no desire to sleep with him. Not to mention I told him to his face that I’m in love with you and he congratulated me,”
“...Oh.” he cleared his throat. “Was he bummed?”
Yoongi chuckled. “No - he was happy for me. He also sort of wants to have a threesome with us,”
“W-What?” Yoongi laughed at his stunned expression. “Was that a joke?”
“No, it wasn’t. He thinks you’re really hot. But don’t worry, I told him that would never happen. I don’t like sharing.” he placed a hand on his thigh and gave a gentle squeeze.
“Good….cause I don’t either,”
"If it really bothers you...I won't hangout with him,"
"That's not what I'm saying,"
"Then, what? I'm lost."
"It will...take getting used to, that's all. I trust you. I'll try to...get the images out of my head,"
"Thank you," he grinned appreciatively. “And, anyway…I’m still single, so,” he said in a more teasing manner. He got up from the sofa to dispose of his trash and walked around his desk. “I can do whatever I want.”
“Of course you can.” Jungkook licked his lips, eyes following him like a hawk. “On a totally unrelated note, would you like to go on a date tonight?”
“What?”
“Date. Dinner. My treat. I’ll pick you up,”
“Thought you didn’t want to date?” he said with a small smirk.
“When did I say that?” he scoffed.
“I very clearly remember—”
“That was in the past, Yoongi. People can change their mind,”
“So you only want to go on a date with me because you’re worried I’m gonna sleep with other people?”
Jungkook folded his arms. “No, I’ve been wanting to take you on a date since I confessed, but then you got sick and we both got busy.” He cleared his throat. “-but that Jooyoung guy better not try shit with you. He better respect your wishes, 'cause I’ll tell him off if I have to.”
Yoongi smiled small. “Okay, tough guy,”
Jungkook got up and approached him. “I know we didn’t get to talk about it, but I want to clarify with you right now that I want to be more than friends, and if you don’t want that…that’s fine, but you should tell me right now if–”
Yoongi snorted loudly. He was biting back a grin. “I think confessing your love to me told me as much,” Yoongi grabbed his hand and linked their fingers. “I, too, would like to be more than friends,”
Jungkook swallowed. But he looked relieved. And happy. “I want this more than anything. A-And we don’t have to…give it a label right now…we can take things slow,”
“Jungkook,” Yoongi said moving his mouth closer to his ear. “If it wasn’t already obvious, I’m completely smitten over you. You are the only guy I’m interested in dating,” he brought a hand down to his lower back and felt how easily Jungkook relaxed into the touch.
“Okay….good. Very good.” Yoongi was enjoying how affected he was by the close proximity. “I knew that, anyway,” he tried to play off.
“Yeah?” He slid a hand up his chest slowly. “So where should we go for dinner?” he asks, pretending to fix his collars.
“I-um, how about that Blue House place? You liked the food, right?”
“Sure - whatever you want,” his breath fanned over his neck. “And you better pick me up on time,” he said leaning in, lightly gripping his collar. “Don't keep me waiting,”
“Y-Yes. I won’t be late.”
“I’m looking forward to it,” he grinned and stepped back, moving back to behind his desk. “Now go get back to work,”
Jungkook made an irritated sound. “What? But…but I wanted to see you,”
“I’m sorry, baby. But I have work to do - and Ayn is going to start getting on my case if I’m the reason you’re MIA at work,”
He rolled his eyes. “Relax, she’s softening up to you.”
“I doubt that, but still,”
“Okay, fine. I’ll see you later?” he went to lean down for a kiss.
He put a hand on his chest, stopping him. “Not at work.” Yoongi said.
Jungkook bit his lip. “But…there’s no one around?”
“My doors unlocked. Anyone can walk in,”
“Mm yeah? I’ll lock it next time…and maybe we can fool around a bit,”
“Don’t get any ideas,” he shoots down.
“We’ll see about that…” he smirks and straightens back up. “I’ll see you tonight,”
“I can’t wait,” he says and goes to open the door for him. “Have a good day,” he farewells.
“How could I not after seeing you?” he said charmingly.
"Bye," he said, failing to not grin.

True to his word, Jungkook picks him up on time, in fact, ten minutes early to be exact, dressed up handsomely, his hair done and all.
Yoongi's dressed up too, because tonight was their first, official date, and he wanted to make an impression.
Jungkook drives, left hand on the wheel, his right hand on Yoongi's thigh.
Last time they were here they were in a secluded area on the first floor, but the table they get led to this time is on a VIP floor, their table right next to the window, overlooking the city.
"Pretty view," Yoongi comments.
"The view in front of me is even prettier,"
"Let me start drinking before you start with the cheesy lines,"
"What? You don't like them?"
"I didn't say that. Please continue flirting with me. If you say the right line...you might get lucky later," he winked.
"Oh...will I?" he smirks. "I'll bring out all the lines I've got,"
"As long as they don't make me cringe,"
"So you don't want me to use terms of endearment like sweet sunshine or darling?"
"Prefer you didn't," he chuckled.
"Can I call you..baby?"
Yoongi liked the way he said that a little too much. "I suppose that's alright,"
"Good. That makes me happy,"
Jungkook orders them wine while they wait for their food, a sweet velvet that he's sure is going to stain his mouth.
"So, I heard Axel quit,"
"Yeah."
Yoongi tried to gage his expression, if there were any signs of disappointment over his departure..but he found nothing. "Ayn thinks it has something to do with me,"
"It was definitely because of me -not you."
"Awkward band practice?"
He shook his head. "I think I...really hurt his feelings. I feel bad."
"Right.."
"I mean - he blew me off first with the whole getting back with his girlfriend thing, I think he wanted to hurt me with that somehow but...I wasn't really that upset about it. I think he wanted me to like...I don't know..fight for him?"
Yoongi nodded. "Yeah, he probably did. He probably figured out he wasn't getting anything secure with you."
"Exactly. And now I guess we're not friends anymore, either. But I get it. I was an insensitive jerk. I should've cut things off after tour,"
"Tour fling my foot," Yoongi remarked bitterly.
"Hey - look, it was hard, okay?" Yoongi rolled his eyes. "I thought he would help me stop thinking about you - but I just thought about you even more," He sipped his wine back slowly. He wasn't offended. Yoongi's guilty of using others as a distraction to not think about Jungkook too. "I shouldn't have done that,"
"Heartbreaker Jeon at it again,"
"Stop that. Not funny," he sighed. "I'm going to apologize. I just want to give him a little space since he can't seem to even be in the same room as me,"
Yoongi nodded. "Yeah, that's probably best,"
"Anyway let's change the subject - I want to talk about how handsome you look,"
"You like? It's Versace. Even the shoes. Taehyung and I went shopping,"
"You're gorgeous," Jungkook grabbed his hand across the table and rubbed a thumb over his knuckle. "I'm happy you let me take you out,"
"Me too,"
"It still feels...a little unreal,"
"Yeah, it does." he agreed. "If this is a dream, I don't ever want to wake up,"
Jungkook scrunched his nose happily. "That is the cheesiest thing you've ever said to me,"
"I can keep going," he grinned. "Learned a few lines from Jin,"
"I'm sure you did," he chuckled.
At the appearance of their waitress, they retreated their hands back and Yoongi grabbed up his wine instead.
Dinner is delicious, of course, but the company is even better. They must stay at that table for over an hour just talking and laughing and sipping back expensive wine.
"You can take the rest of the bottle," he says after paying the bill.
"Or...we could finish it together at mine,"
Jungkook stared back. "Or that,"
Yoongi grabbed up the wine and they made their leave.
"Can I kiss you now?" he asks when they're up to his apartment and Yoongi's grabbed two glasses from his cabinet. Jungkook was being incredibly patient and it was admirable.
He placed the glasses down and turned in his orbit, licking his lips. Yoongi leaned over to beat him to it, gingerly cupping his jaw and drawing him closer, softly licking into his mouth.
The wine is momentarily forgotten, making out in his kitchen was far more important.
"You gotta get up early?" he asks, slightly pulling back.
"Not early early, but yeah,"
"Alright," he said and drew him back into a kiss. "Then you're staying the night,"
Jungkook smirked against his mouth. "Oh, am I?"
"Unless you don't want to,"
His lips moved to his neck and began to lightly bite and suck. "I think I'll stay,"
Yoongi was delighted. He tiled his neck back and lightly fisted his jacket. "I couldn't stop thinking about you all week," he says as his lips trace his skin.
"Take this off," he responded, tugging at his button-up. Jungkook stepped back to remove his jacket and expertly undid his buttons, shirt falling to the linoleum. Yoongi's mouth watered. He won't ever get over how gorgeous Jungkook is, every inch of him was beautiful and he couldn't help but reach out to touch him.
Jungkook traps him against the counter and continues to suck at his neck, his hand grazing his groin in a matter that was certainly more than teasing. Yoongi's breathing picked up and felt himself harden at an alarming rate.
"I love feeling how hard you get for me," he whispered..
"You should do something about it then," he urged.
His pants get unzipped and then Jungkook is pulling away and kneeling. His trousers get shucked down, Jungkook looking up at him alluringly, lips wet and plump from their kissing. He all but groaned at the sight.
Jungkook mouths his clothed cock, hands sneaking up to cup his ass all the while.
His boxers were wet from his mouth, and once Jungkook decided he was done with his teasing, he pulled them down too.
"Fuck, baby," he cursed when his warm mouth engulfed him.
He moaned around him, as if he was enjoying this more than Yoongi was - which was impossible, his mouth was heaven.
When he momentarily pulled off him, he stuck a finger in his mouth, getting it nice and wet. Yoongi stared, mesmerized. His mouth was back on him, and then without realizing it, Jungkook's finger was teasingly rubbing at his hole.
"Kook," he sighed, too aroused to think.
"Look at me." he demanded. Yoongi immediately looked down to lock eyes with him. "Don't even think about looking away or I'll stop." he said before sucking him down all the way, making Yoongi lose his breath. His finger broke through the first ring of muscle, massaging the insides of his walls.
He was close to losing it. His knees would soon buckle at this rate. It was a lot of sensation at once, but Yoongi didn't dare look away from those eyes of his that were now watering.
It doesn't take him long to get there, and when he feels himself start to orgasm, Jungkook pumps his finger faster, the devil that he is, encouraging him to release.
"Oh fuck," he cried out when he comes, and it's intense and makes him vision see white for a few moments.
When Jungkook stands, Yoongi grabs him forward by his neck, securing his hand around his throat, not squeezing, but having it there as guidance as he brought his lips to his, forcing his tongue in his mouth to taste himself on him. Jungkook moaned, rubbing his hard-on against him.
"Fuck, you make me speechless," he admits.
He giggles against his mouth, eyes full of desire.
"Bedroom," he manages out. Jungkook nodded and let Yoongi pull him down the hall.

Yoongi wakes to Jungkook's alarm and reaches around his naked body to gently wake him.
Jungkook wakes, albeit, not so happily. He looks tired, and Yoongi would love to let him just sleep away in his bed, but he knows that can't happen this morning.
He goes to dress and brush his teeth, and Yoongi joins him at the sink.
They skip making breakfast but munch on some strawberries Yoongi finds in his fridge. Yoongi decides he's going to work from home today because he had no recordings or meetings to attend.
Jungkook is incredibly touchy and affectionate this morning, and normally he's not into being so touchy-feely, but he likes it when its Jungkook who does it.
"Did you have a good time?" he asks at the door.
Yoongi had more than a good time, he was so giddy and happy he had no idea what to do with all these feelings. "Yes, I had an amazing time,"
"Yoongi - I really want you to be mine,"
"I'm yours," he agrees. Jungkook's already had his heart for the longest time.
"It might be too soon to ask, but I do...I want to be your boyfriend,"
"I know," he kissed him chastely. "I'm not going anywhere. I was only teasing about doing whatever I wanted,"
"I know that,"
"I only want you, Kook. Always only wanted you,"
"God - I wish we could've gotten here sooner,"
"It wasn't our time," he says gently.
"Fuck." he said and then softly laughed. “I really don’t want to leave,”
“You know where I live,” he teased. “You can come over whenever you want,”
“You’re going to regret saying that,”
“I don’t think I will,” he drew him in another kiss. “Go to work,”
Jungkook whined unpleasantly. “Fine. See you this weekend?"
"Yes, baby. I'll be there,"

“Are you sure she agreed to have us over?” Yoongi asks as they get out of the car.
“Well, I didn’t exactly tell her you were tagging along but it shouldn’t be a big deal,”
Yoongi stared at him. “Why do you always do this? You know she would not willingly invite me over to her home,”
“Can you relax? She doesn’t hate you as much as you think she does,” they approached the front door and Yoongi felt himself grow nervous.
“What does hate as much mean?”
“Never mind.” he said and rang the doorbell.
The door swings open ten seconds later. “Oh, it’s you,” she says with a confused grin. “Thought you were the food we ordered,”
“Even better," he smized. "It's your favorite person in the world,”
Her gaze went to him. “And Yoongi-ssi…what a surprise,”
“Hope you don’t mind I invited him, we were hanging out and-”
"I don't care," she stepped aside to let them in. “Good thing we always order enough to feed a family of six,”
Ayn's home is like some of the celebrity homes he sees around the richer parts of Gangnam, privately fenced in with mass security. There's a lot of garden decorations that reminds him of Jungkook's parents house.
The stairway curves in a big spiral, the marble flooring so shiny he swears he could see his reflection in it.
“So,” she said, leading them into her living room and taking a seat on the plush loveseat. Everything was neat and it's clear she lives a minimalistic lifestyle, “You said you needed to talk,”
They both took a seat in the opposite chairs facing her. Yoongi braced himself for this conversation. “Yes, two things, really.”
"Okay," she gave her devoted attention with a neutral, friendly expression that Yoongi thought was slightly misleading. Ayn is too good at keeping a straight face, he should learn from her.
“One - I just wanted to say that you’re doing a great job lately and I appreciate you. I'm happy you agreed to renew your contract with me,”
“Why thank you,” she said in awe. “That’s sweet. Am I getting a raise too?”
“That can be arranged, of course. I’m sure we can get together to discuss that,”
“Isn’t that lovely.” she chuckled.
“And the second thing is that um,” he then laced their hands together and watched her eyes follow the action. “Yoongi and I are together, we love each other,”
The room goes eerily quiet. Her facial expression hardly shifts, but her eyes slightly widen.
“Oh…okay, then.”
Jungkook looks to wait for her to say more but she doesn’t look to have much else to add. “I’ll accept that as an accolade,”
“Is this the news you wanted to tell me?”
“Um, yeah, that’s the news,”
She hummed and nodded. “Well - congrats on finally getting your shit together. Should we have tea? Champagne?”
Yoongi was confused at how well she was taking this. When she even suspected him and Jungkook were doing anything beyond platonic, she practically cornered him into signing an NDA, but she hardly looks moved now. “Tea should be fine, thanks,”
“Anit,” she called out.
“–Yes?” someone yelled from the kitchen.
“Can you start up the kettle, honey? We’re having tea,” she turned back to them. “Staying for lunch?”
“Oh - we don’t want to intrude,”
“Are you hungry or not?”
“Sure, if you insist we stay and eat,”
“Great. I’ll go set the table,”
If Ayn is the black cat, Anit is surely the golden retriever in the relationship with her bright smile and friendly hospitality.
“So who confessed first?” Anit asks with childlike interest.
“He did,” Yoongi voiced. “It was really cute, and he cried,”
“Would you stop?”
“What? It was sweet, I cried too,”
“Oh, that’s so endearing! I love hearing how couples got together,”
“What about you two? Who confessed first?” Yoongi returns.
“Me,” Anit says. “But she had a boyfriend at the time so it didn’t go so well,”
“I want to clarify I also had feelings for her but things were complicated,”
“Yeah,” she agreed. “It wasn’t a rejection - it was an intermission of sorts,”
Ayn smiles back fondly and it’s a look he’s never witnessed in his six years of knowing her. “Exactly. But she waited for me patiently,”
“A whole year of waiting,” she said. “Wise people would’ve moved on,”
“In that case, I’m glad you weren’t wise,” she chuckled.
"I waited for him too," Yoongi adds teasingly.
"Well, he never said anything, made me do all the hard work," Jungkook fake complained.
"You were giving mixed signals, what was I supposed to do?"
"I dunno, you should've just done it!"
Yoongi rolled his eyes. Anit chuckled at them. “Well, congrats, anyway. I hope the two of you will be very happy,”
“Watching you two dance around each other was exhausting. I almost intervened myself,”
“When are you not intervening yourself in my business?” Jungkook retaliated.
“That’s part of my job,” she winks. “Though, I’m glad you two told me, I would have expected you to hide it,”
"You'd figure it out soon enough,"
"Don't think I didn't notice you sending out staff members every morning to go drop things off at his office,"
"Nosy."
"Observant," she corrected. "It's a gift, really."
Ayn then turned to him. “If you hurt him I’ll fucking destroy you,”
“Noona! Easy!”
“No, it’s okay,” Yoongi voiced. He expected this.
“He’s special to me,” she says, ignoring Jungkook.
“He’s special to me too, more than you can ever know,"
They held a stare off. She relented first and cleared her throat. "And you still have a girlfriend,” Ayn reminded.
“Only for a couple more months,”
“Don’t cause a scene. Again.”
“No one even knows it was–“
“Discretion, practice it,”
“I’ve mastered discretion,” Jungkook asserts.
“No you haven’t. Why do you think I caught onto you two? The way you look at each other alone is a dead giveaway,”
“So I can’t even look at him? Come on, that’s ridiculous,”
“Appropriately, yes. Can you manage that?”
“Yes, noona. I'll behave."
Telling Taehyung is among one of the most nerve-wracking people they tell. Not that they think Taehyung won't be supportive - but rather because his reactions tend to be dramatic.
“Wait, what?” he repeated confused.
“We’re together. As in romantically,” Yoongi supplied.
Taehyung was staring at them as if they were aliens. “Wow…um...I did not see this coming..” he had a puzzled expression that Yoongi found mirthful.
They shared a look. They did sort of lock lips in front of Taehyung and nearly get walked in on mid-blowjob, but maybe Taehyung was more oblivious than they initially thought.
“This is a lot for me to process,” he said and Yoongi let a chuckle escape.
“We hope you’ll support us,” Jungkook added.
“I mean, of course! This is just...wow..." you'd think they were dropping real life-altering news on him, not just the fact they're seeing each other. “Wait, have you guys been secretly dating this whole time?”
“No-we’ve been dating officially for about uh two weeks, right?” he checked with Yoongi.
He nodded. “Yeah, but we’ve been sleeping together for a few months,”
“You were what?!”
“Never mind that, the point is we’re here now and we’re together,” he said and smiled at Jungkook appreciatively.
“This is so weird, but at the same time I think you guys are completely meant for each other,”
"Thank you for thinking so,"
When he takes Jungkook back home to his parents the following weekend, it goes a little differently than he expected.
After dinner, they vacate to the living room, his father watching some race on the TV, a drink in hand, his mother asking Jungkook a billion and one questions while Yoongi sits to the side and watched their interactions. At some point, though he taps Jungkook's thigh with his knuckle, giving him a look, they discussed in the car ride over they'd share the news after dinner, and if he didn't do it now, he might chicken out. His parents love Jungkook - and they know about his preference - so he knows it can't go too terribly.
"Mom - Dad," he starts. Jungkook nervously clasps his hands in his lap, allowing him to lead the conversation. "I have something to share with you,"
His father gives him his full attention and his mother looks between them worriedly. "Jungkook and I - we-"
"Oh, honey...we know." she says gently.
Yoongi blinked back at her. "..What?"
She touched his knee gingerly and smiled kindly at Jungkook. "We know. It's okay." she winked. Yoongi looked at his father to gage his reaction but it was rather blank and calm. He gave a quick nod, as if agreeing with his mother.
"Um, mom...I think you are misunderstanding.."
She shook her head. "You've been hiding your relationship from us, but it's okay, we know how much Jungkook means to you, and you don't have to hide anymore. We love you both very much,"
Yoongi was stupefied and looked at Jungkook to see if he was just as confused - Jungkook too, was looking a little lost, as well as partly amused. "Mom - we've only been dating for a month,"
At this, her expression morphs into disarray. "What do you mean only a month, sweetheart? I thought you've been together for years,"
His eyes widened and let out a disbelief sound. "You - what?"
"But you sleep in the same room together when you visit?"
"I was on the floor, he was in the bed, gosh, mom," he covered his face, not knowing how to prove to her that him and Jungkook truly were only friends.
"But..you moved in together and went on vacation with us? We assumed you two were a couple and were too afraid to tell us,"
"My God, do I have to explain everything just because I happen to like men and bring a male friend around?"
"Oh - my, I guess I was wrong. But now you two are uh..in a relationship, yes?"
"Yes, mom. He's my partner."
"Okay, then, that's wonderful! I'll go get something for us to drink!"
"Ah-ah, the one in the cellar," his dad called out, getting up to show her.
Beside him, Jungkook starts to shake with laughter. Yoongi pulled his face out of his hands and stared at him. "What's so funny?"
"This is hilarious, are you kidding?"
"My parents think we've been in a long term committed relationship for as long as we've known each other, no big deal,"
"Damn, I mean-I'm honored,"
"Shut up," he said, trying not to let a laugh slip out. "I've literally brought a girl home before, they must have thought I was using her as a cover up,"
"Oh my god, that's amazing," he snickers even louder.
He hated to admit, but it was kind of funny.
"So, can we actually share a bed tonight, then?"
"Sure, we can. But no funny business,"
"Why not? I can be quiet....unlike you,"
Yoongi leaned closer to whisper in his ear. "Baby, when have you ever been quiet while my mouth is on you?"
He bit his lip. "Then you'll just have to make me quiet,"
Their flirting is interrupted by the return of his parents. His dad uncorks a bottle and they each have a glass.
"So - Jungkook, do your parents know?" his mother asks.
"Yes - we did a video call, my parents are very happy for us,"
"Oh, that's sweet. Young love is so beautiful,"
Yoongi smiled to himself and drank his wine, Jungkook's shoulder leaning onto his. This wasn't so bad.

“I’m a single man!” Jungkook said in greeting.
“Pardon?”
“Sohee and I announced our break up,”
“Poor boy. How’re you holding up?”
“It was mutual, don’t worry,” he says and slid up behind him to back hug him. “I’m all yours now,”
“I thought you were already mine?”
“Now I really am all yours,” he added and pressed a kiss to the back of his neck. “What’re you doing?”
“Parker ripped up my sleeve while we were playing,”
“You can sow? That’s so hot,”
“You are weird,”
“Sorry, everything about you arouses me,”
“Whatever helps you get hard,”
Yoongi twisted around. “Actually, I have a question,”
"Okay,"
“I want to take you away for a weekend at the end of May,”
“Is that the question?”
“No - the question is if you’re free because, well, I sort of already bought the tickets, but I can give them to Taehyung or something if we can’t go,”
“Tickets to where?”
“That’s a surprise,”
“Okay…well, I’ll have to double check, but I don’t think I have much important going on,”
“Cool…Very cool.”
Yoongi originally wanted to take them back over somewhere in Europe, but he and Jungkook always said they wanted to take a trip to New York together, so that's where Yoongi takes him.
“Let’s go get some coffee,” he says as they're walking around Times Square.
Yoongi opens the door for them. “This is the place that spelled my name wrong,”
He snickered. “Hopefully they spell it right this time,”
They don't. But it's okay. It makes Jungkook laugh, so who cares.
“Are you taking my picture?” They're at a window table, people-watching and drinking over-priced lattes.
“No….yes, wait look down like you’re not paying attention, you look cool,”
“Okay now look at me this time,”
Yoongi obliges, letting him get away with the orders.
“You melt my heart with how cute you are,”
“Enough pictures, people are staring at us,” he complains.
“Let ‘em stare. You’re pretty,"
“You’re prettier,” he returns.
After coffee, they go shopping for a couple hours before their dinner reservation. Jungkook is insistent he buys anything Yoongi lays his eyes on so he tries to not show much interest in the things he passes. He still ends up with two bags worth of clothes and jewelery.
Dinner is on some outside patio with string fairy lights and soft music playing. They both fill up on steak and pasta and decide to go for a little stroll before heading back to their hotel.
Jungkook laces their hands together, their masks on, feet moving slow with no rush in the world. They can see the stars out here, and the moon is full and bright in the night sky.
“We should get a place here,” he says. “Like a vacation home,”
“You like coming here that much?” Yoongi asks.
He shrugged. “I know you like it here,”
“Damn. Haven't even been dating for six months and you already want to buy a place with me,”
“Yoongi, we used to live together for years,”
“Yeah, but you weren’t in love with me when we were,”
“You were,”
He chuckles. “Lets…think about it. That’s a big financial decision.”
He's nodding. “Okay..yeah..we should think about it,” he says quieter.
“But I’m into the idea,” he says. “So it’s not a no,”
“Okay…” he grins. "We should get a beach house,"
"I hate the beach," Yoongi complains. "What about a lake house? Or a cabin?"
"Oh, a cabin sounds nice..."
"We can visit in the winter,"
"You know what...that sounds better than the beach, let's look into a cabin," he decides.
"Okay, love. We'll do that."

“Okay, I think it’s time for you guys to go home,” Taehyung says.
Jungkook detached his lips from Yoongi’s to face Taehyung. “You can either watch or look away,”
“But I can hear your lips smacking and it’s really grossing me out,”
“Why are you being homophobic?” Yoongi asked.
“Yeah, I thought you were an ally?”
“I am an ally! But that doesn’t mean I have to willingly sit through you guys making out in my home!”
“No one else seems to care?” he said and looked around at everyone else drinking and talking amongst themselves, not even paying attention to the two of them lip-locking.
“Ugh,” Taehyung groaned and got up off the couch and walked into the kitchen. “I miss when you guys were being secretive!”
“Why would I want to keep him a secret? He’s gorgeous,” Yoongi retaliated.
Namjoon walked over and grinned kindly at them. “For the record, I think you guys are cute,”
“At least someone thinks so,” Jungkook complained loudly, hoping Taehyung would hear. He separated from Yoongi and returned to his drink. “How’re you Namjoon? I heard you got hired at a really big firm, congratulations!”
“Thank you,” he smiled shyly. “Yeah, I start tomorrow, I’m nervous,”
“You’re gonna be the best attorney there,” Yoongi proclaims. “I mean, who can disagree with such a soft person?”
“Evidence might change that factor,”
"If I'm ever in legal trouble, I'll give you a call," Jungkook says.
"I will gladly represent you, and I don't even charge as much as other firms!"
“Hi,” another figure sneaks through and comes up behind Namjoon.
Seokjin came to the party with one of his boyfriends who he briefly met in passing. Seokjin jokingly greeted him with a hey fake boyfriend and Jungkook with a and i presume real boyfriend.
“Sorry, I couldn’t help but notice you from across the room. My name’s Seokjin,” he outstretched a hand.
“Namjoon,” he returned with a dimpled smile.
“I like your smile. Would you like a drink?”
Yoongi snorted as Namjoon became flustered. “Oh..um, yeah, sure, I’ll take a drink,”
“How much money you want to bet they go home together?” he whispers in Jungkook’s ear.
“I’ll bet a hundred thousand won,"
“Deal,”
“Have you ever thought about modeling?” they overhear.
Yoongi rolled his eyes. “He used that line on me too. How cheap,”
“Well he wasn’t wrong. You do have a beautiful face.”
He took his hand and held it in his lap. “Can we leave now?”
He nodded. “I’m ready to go too,”

“Traitor,” Jungkook said as he passed the couch. Parker was curled up in his lap sound asleep while some flick played on the screen.
“Be jealous your dog loves me more than you,”
“That is totally not true, but sure, believe what you wanna believe,” Jungkook joined them on the couch and leaned his head against his shoulder. "What're you watching?"
"I don't know - Hoseok said I had to watch this movie, it's some kind of action-thriller,"
He hummed and cozied up to him.
“Hey...we should move back in together,” he says all too casually.
Yoongi turned his neck. “You want to?”
“I mean, my place is pretty big,” he shrugged. “And I have an extra room that doesn’t really have a use that you can make your own studio,”
“Oh…really?”
He started to play with Yoongi's fingers, a nervous habit of his. “If you want to, no pressure. Unless you really do like living alone,”
“I loathe it,” he admits.
"Yeah?" he asks. Yoongi nods. “I miss you all the time...and so does Parker,"
"Cute. Using the dog as an incentive,"
"Is it working?"
"It kind of is, not gonna lie."
He giggled. “And we can have sex like, any time of the day," he adds.
“Aren’t we already?”
Not to mention the occasional quick fuck they have in his studio when they’re too busy to really see each other, or Jungkook's car. They're getting more creative.
“Actually, the real secret is I miss you making me breakfast,” he said cheekily.
“And the truth comes out, you just want me for my services,”
“I promise to provide my own services as well,” he winked.
"Okay...I'll move in, then,"
"I'll start cleaning out the room for you tomorrow.."
Yoongi kissed his head. "Thank you, baby. I can't wait."
