Chlorine Dyed hair ≠

Chapter 2: I didn’t know this could happen?

Chapter Text

Kel woke up to a sunny day ahead of him, first he jumped out of bed and woke up Hero, then he got dressed and ran to the bathroom to brush his teeth and brush his hair. He had already forgotten the sudden change he did to his hair, so he was confused but pleased when he saw himself in the mirror.

it had been his first time ever doing something like dying his own hair, so of course he was happy about it. He ran his fingers through his silky hair and put it up into a ponytail, admiring the way it looked.

Hero called him downstairs for breakfast and talked to him like he would every day. Just normal brotherly conversations, nothing out of the ordinary. When they were both done, they got ready to leave to a pool, with the rest of their other three friends.

Kel was happy, and he spent the entirety of his day happy.

AFTER GETTING HOME

==========================

Kel stared at himself in the mirror, stressed, confused, angered, and miserable.

What happened to his beautiful warmed tone color? Why was it, a whiteish color? Something like a grey blonde. He stared at it and felt tears from in his eyes, clenching his fists tighter and tighter by the second.

He hated how he looked, he kept touching his hair and sighing repeatedly. He wasted all that time dying his hair just for this to happen, Basil was a professional too. What happened? What happened for this to even happen? It’s been one day, and one day only. How come it’s already become… horrendous?

Kel sucked in cold air and let the tears fall down his face. Making his skin look shiny and wet. He went to wipe his eyes before he felt a sharp pain in them when he closed his eyes. The tears washing away irritations and making the pain appear.

He had enough of this, he was fed up. He rarely ever did that, but he was dumb. How come he didn’t know how to take care of his own hair? How come he made Basil’s hard work go to waste? Kel forced his eyes open and let out a deep breathe, opening the cabinet next to him and grabbing the scissors.

Kel got to cutting right away, making his hair choppy and uneven, more worse than before. He had thought that if he cut the discolored parts, it would look better. He was wrong, he was so terribly wrong.

He slid down the wall and sat down on the bathroom floor, eventually lying down after a few minutes. He laid there, the tears now falling down the side of his face and wetting his hair, his chopped and butchered hair.

He didn’t want to look a fool for not knowing basic knowledge about taking care of things. He didn’t want to be ridiculed when he walked outside the bathroom by his brother, scolding him and regretting everything he let his younger brother do.

So he didn’t, he didn’t go out. Kel laid there and closed his eyes. He was tired, very tired. He felt uncomfortable, but it was better than going outside into his bed and feeling worse.

So he slept on the bathroom floor, with dried and sticky tears on his face along with cut hair.

He was hoping everything was a dream.
