“Is this yours?” Jim asks, lifting Tank up in front of him so she can see. The brat hisses again.
“There you are, Tank!” Binkie’s hand flies to her beak in surprise. “Oh, I hope he didn’t cause too much trouble!”
“Oh no,” Jim drawls, trying not to roll his eyes. “He only blew up my second rental, it’s not like he destroyed something important or anything.”
“Oh, good!”
He grits his teeth and shoves Tank into her waiting hands. He keeps forgetting that they absolutely do not pick up on sarcasm whatsoever.
