Work Text:
Peter was losing his mind. Maybe it was the Twilight movie marathon he had just gone through the night prior, but he could not focus on anything other than the vampire-like fangs in his boyfriend’s mouth as they ate dinner.
Seeing Miguel’s fangs bite into his rare steak was distracting. His fangs were barely ever on display besides a grimace or a rare smile, but when they ate, he could always see the fangs peeking out, biting down onto the meat.
It was kind of hot, actually. It made Peter wonder what it’d be like if Miguel bit down on his neck…
He shook his head slightly, adjusting the collar of his shirt.
He knew Miguel was not a vampire. He had asked him when they had first met. Peter remembered it clearly.
“Dude, are you a vampire?” Peter asked, the corner of Miguel’s mouth twitching up in annoyance, a fang on clear display.
“No. Why would I be a vampire if I’m Spider-Man?” He huffed.
“I’ve met a Pig Spider-Man.” He shrugged, Miguel rolling his eyes. “Do you burn in the sun, or sparkle?”
“Neither.” Miguel seemed annoyed. “Lyla, give him a goober.”
“It’s not a goober, it's a gizmo.” A hologram had popped up next to Miguel, Peter staring in amazement.
“Can you stop with that?”
“I’m gonna keep a tally of each time you call it a goober, Migs.”
“How do you work?” Peter asked, moving closer. Lyla had moved away.
“Special vampire technology!” She grinned.
“Knew it!”
“I’m not a vampire. I’ve seen what your Morbius looks like. You think I look like that?”
“No, you’re a pretty handsome vampire.”
“Stop.” Miguel said, Peter swearing he saw a slight tinge of red on his cheeks as the more technologically advanced suit covered his head. “Give him the goo- gizmo.”
“Goober sounds better.” Peter said, Lyla pouting as a watch appeared.
“Told you, Lyla.”
“Choice words for a man whose suit is controlled by my tech.” She said, Peter seeing the eyes on Miguel’s mask narrow into a glare. “Where to, boys?”
“Spider Society.” Miguel said, an orange portal opening a few feet away.
“Are you okay, mi amor?” Miguel’s question snapped Peter’s attention back to the present. Peter looked back at Miguel, who was looking at him in concern.
“Huh? Oh- yeah. I was just thinking of how we met.” He answered honestly, smiling when Miguel looked away. “Never thought you’d be my boyfriend, but I’m glad I managed to snag my handsome vampire.” He joked, Miguel’s face red.
“You’re embarrassing even in restaurants. And i’m not a vampire, Peter.”
“I know that.” Peter said, taking a bite of his own food. “But that’s what I thought of you, remember?”
“Yes, you were already embarrassing me before we started dating.” He huffed, taking another bite of his food. Peter grinned, eating more of his own as well.
“Do you want to get dessert after we finish our entrees, baby?“ Peter asked. “There’s this ice cream parlor down the block.” He added, Miguel shrugging.
“I’d prefer to go home and relax, but if you want ice cream we can get some.” Miguel said, Peter eating the last bit of his steak.
“We can skip the ice cream then, I want cuddles more.” Peter cooed, seeing Miguel smile slightly. He had realized that Miguel loved showing affection when they were home a while back, his boyfriend always cuddling up against him when they were at home.
Peter took a sip of his wine, watching as Miguel finished up his food as well, wiping at his mouth. They signaled for the check, Peter finishing up his wine glass. No drops should go to waste.
The waiter brought the check over shortly, Peter glancing at Miguel, seeing he was already reaching for his wallet. “I have the check today, babe.” Peter said, Miguel huffing. “My universe, my money.” He added, Miguel finishing his own wine.
He signaled for the waiter to come over, paying the check and leaving a tip on the table underneath the empty wine glasses, standing up as he offered his hand to Miguel, Miguel shyly grabbing it as they left, though he interlocked his fingers with Peter’s.
They walked home despite the distance, enjoying each other’s presence as they made their way through the 20 block walk back to Peter’s apartment. Peter glanced at Miguel, seeing that Miguel had a slight smile on his face, his fangs showing slightly.
Unfortunately, the sight brought back Peter’s thoughts about Miguel biting him. It didn’t help that his boyfriend’s eyes were glowing red in the moonlight as they took a shortcut through a park. Everything about Miguel made him seem perfect, and even if he wasn’t a Vampire, apparently Peter’s mind couldn’t stop imagining Miguel biting into his neck and sucking out some blood until he was lightheaded. Miguel did love eating meat that was rare. Maybe he liked the taste of blood.
But was it even worth asking? What if he did and Miguel thought it was some weird kink, weird enough for Miguel to dump him on the spot? Peter squeezed Miguel’s hand slightly, letting out a shocked sound as he felt Miguel’s claws briefly poke out before retracting.
“I’m sorry, mi amor.” Miguel said, about to pull his hand away, though Peter held it tightly.
“Don’t be sorry, babe. It’s my bad. And anyway, you didn’t hurt me.” He smiled, bringing up his arm to kiss Miguel’s hand, Miguel blushing.
They continued their walk, Peter surprised at how quickly they arrived, apparently having zoned out for longer than he thought. He reached into his pocket for his keys, unlocking the door of the apartment complex as he and Miguel walked up the steps.
He unlocked the door to his apartment, pulling off his dress shoes before stepping in, Miguel doing the same, carefully setting them by the door.
“Let’s change into our PJs, babe. Formal wear isn’t the best for cuddling.” Peter said, Miguel nodding, though he moved to stand in front of Peter, tilting his chin up with his hand.
“You look great in this, Peter. Very handsome.” Miguel said, giving Peter a quick kiss. Fuck. His boyfriend was really something else. Miguel pulled away, heading to Peter’s room to change, Peter following.
Peter pulled on an old T-shirt and sweatpants, smiling at how Miguel had actually put on one of Peter’s oversized shirts, though it looked a bit more normal on Miguel, as well as the Spider-man themed pajama pants that Peter had gotten him as a joke.
They headed to the bathroom to brush their teeth, Peter staring at his own face in the mirror as he tried to push the thought of Miguel chomping down on his neck out of his mind, the sight of Miguel polishing his oversized canines too much for his poor, vampire-obsessed mind.
Once he was done brushing, he quickly went to sit on the couch, knowing Miguel would be taking his usual 3 minutes on the dot to thoroughly brush.
He pulled out his phone, opening an incognito chrome window as he typed in where vampires bite necks, needing to know if it was even possible. Realistically, they shouldn’t, because what if they bite into a major artery, though then again, there was a lot of muscle instead.
He locked his phone when he heard Miguel enter, leaning against the arm rest. “Hey babe, want to watch anything? I’m fine with whatever you put on, I just want my daily cuddle quota filled.” Peter smiled, Miguel plopping down next to him, resting his head on Peter’s shoulder.
“Is it fine to put on a telenovela then? I heard one was good, but it doesn’t air in my universe anymore.” Miguel said, Peter nodding. Miguel picked up the remote, scrolling through Peter’s Netflix account before finding the one he wanted, putting it on with English subtitles, though Peter knew he wasn’t going to fully pay attention.
He wrapped his arm around Miguel’s waist, leaning his head against his boyfriend’s, Miguel letting out a soft purr as he watched the telenovela, seeming more attentive to the screen than his usual couch cuddles. Cute.
Peter pulled out his phone again, glancing at it as he skimmed an article about the various veins and muscles in the neck.
It was definitely possible for Miguel to bite him. Peter didn’t know if that was good news or annoying news, since he was sure Miguel would not bite him. The only people he had seen Miguel bite were anomalies, and he put those villains to sleep with venom immediately. He knew Miguel wasn’t always venomous, but based on that alone, maybe his boyfriend would want to abstin. Miguel was always paranoid about accidentally hurting Peter, having taken months to even let Peter sleep in the same bed as him, since apparently he rips up entire mattresses in his sleep. Peter had yet to see evidence of this, mind you. He had just seen Miguel knead at things like an oversized kitten. At most, he had accidentally poked Peter and then apologized.
But if Peter asked, then maybe Miguel would be more willing to participate in Peter’s current “get bit by a handsome vampire-like spider-man” fantasy. He’d have to workshop the name later.
He traced the spots that seemed safest based on the article onto his neck with his pointer finger, memorising the spots. There was no way he’d be able to sleep in peace tonight without at least checking if it’d be something Miguel would be interested in doing.
“Miguel, can I ask you something?” Peter said, locking his phone and looking at Miguel.
“You can ask me anything, darling.” He said.
“You can't think I’m weird, okay?”
Miguel sat up, looking at Peter in concern. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing is wrong.” He said. “I just- I'm going to ask something weird and I just want to make sure you won’t be grossed out.” He said, feeling Miguel’s hand on his chest.
“Ask away, I won’t react negatively.”
Peter let out a breath, looking up at Miguel. “Can you bite me?” He watched Miguel’s face for his reaction, panicking slightly when Miguel’s lips twitched, a confused look on his face. “I- I’m sorry-“
“You want me to bite you?” Miguel asked. “Like, actually bite?”
“Y-yes.” Peter said, sure his face was bright red. “On the neck. Like a vampire.”
“I’m not-“
“I know you’re not a vampire, babe, but-“
“No, I'm not sure where to bite? What if I bite you on the neck and I hurt you! There are major arteries there, Peter.”
Peter covered his face. “I searched up where to bite.”
“You did research?” Peter nodded. “Mi amor, how long have you been thinking about this?”
“I- I'm not sure. I’ve always been curious, I guess- but I searched it up because I was curious and-“ he paused. “You don’t have to bite me if it’s weird or if you’re uncomfortable with it, Miggy. I don’t want to make you do anything you don’t want to.” Peter said, leaning against Miguel.
Miguel was silent for a bit. “…I can try it.” He said, speaking softly. “Where on your neck?”
“Not on the couch! Let’s at least get into bed first.” Peter said, getting up. Miguel seemed surprised, though he turned off the TV and got up, following Peter to their room.
Peter sat down on their bed, flushing as Miguel sat on his lap, leaning against him, his head already hovering over Peter’s neck, a claw tugging down his shirt collar. “Where?”
Peter tapped the spot on his neck. He had already identified where Miguel could bite that would avoid any major arteries, and he knew even if Miguel did hit it, his healing factor would help keep him safe.
He moved his hands to Miguel’s waist, shutting his eyes as he felt Miguel move closer, feeling his breath against his neck as fangs grazed his skin, as if Miguel was testing the area. “Ready?”
“Mhm-haah” Peter let out a moan as he felt a sharp pain in his neck, Miguel having bit down on him. “F-fuck.” He said. It hurt, but it felt amazing, Peter panting as he felt a searing hot liquid enter him through the bite. Had Miguel used his venom? “Ba-babe.” Peter said, his words slurring. Miguel was still in his neck, pulling away when Peter squeezed his side. “W-why t…” he glanced at Miguel, seeing blood smeared across his boyfriend’s lips, Miguel wiping at his mouth. He looked hot, his boyfriend’s eyes glowing softly as he looked down at Peter.
“It’s to make you light headed. I can’t drink your blood from a puncture.” Miguel said, stroking Peter's head. He felt Miguel’s arms slowly push him against the pillow before Miguel laid on top of him, Peter feeling his tongue press against the wounds. It helped to soothe the pain, Peter shutting his eyes as he held onto Miguel’s shoulders.
The buzz of Miguel’s venom was already fading away, though now the bite mark was feeling numb, the stinging and searing pain replaced with a dull ache. “Thank you.” He said. “What’s it like?”
“Tastes radioactive.” Miguel mumbled, kissing Peter softly. Peter wasn’t sure if he should be offended or not, returning the kiss, his tongue grazing against Miguel’s lips, deepening the kiss as Miguel parted them. He moved his hands to Miguel’s waist again, holding him in place as they kissed, Peter tasting the iron of his own blood in Miguel’s mouth. It was a weird feeling, but it honestly made what just happened even hotter, Peter squeezing Miguel’s thighs slightly. Miguel let out a soft grunt before pulling away, panting as he sat back, still smudges of blood on his cheek and chin.
Peter moved his hand up to his neck, feeling for the bite mark, though he could feel the scabs already forming, the wound already in the healing process. He felt fine, the venom’s effects completely gone. Miguel could do it again, probably. He wanted to experience it once more. “Bite me again.” Peter said, turning his neck the other way, tapping a spot.
“You sure?” Miguel asked, leaning forward.
“Again,” Peter nodded. “ With the venom.” He added, seeing Miguel’s face flush slightly. He was so cute even when pinning Peter against the bed, about to bite him.
Peter shut his eyes as he felt Miguel lean forward, letting out a soft grunt as his boyfriend pulled at the collar of his shirt, feeling him suck a bruise onto his neck instead. “Bite.”
“Wait.” Miguel said, sucking on another spot, this time closer to his collarbone. “I need more proof that you’re mine.” Okay, this was really hot.
“I want you to cover me in bruises and bites.” Peter breathed, letting out a moan as Miguel suckef anorher hickey onto his neck.
“Your shirt’s in my way.” Miguel said, Peter looking up at him.
“Rip it.” Miguel seemed pleased by this, quickly using a claw to rip the front of Peter’s shirt off, Peter letting out a moan as Miguel leaned forward, sucking hickeys onto his chest now. “Good boy.” Peter said, Miguel letting out a purr. The younger man nuzzled his cheek against Peter’s neck, Peter feeling his breath on his neck again.
“Ready?”
“Bite me, Miguel.” Peter said, letting out a louder moan as Miguel bit him once more, clutching the fabric of Miguel’s shirt. He shut his eyes as he felt venom enter his bloodstream again. “I l-love yo-ou.” Peter panted, slurring his words. The venom felt more potent this time, his vision slightly blurry. Miguel pulled out of his neck, Peter feeling his boyfriend’s tongue lick the wound again. “So g-good.” Miguel let out another purr at Peter’s praise, sitting back, blood covering his mouth. It was hot how messy he looked, his hair tousled and blood having run down his chin and onto his shirt.
“This side is different.” Miguel said, wiping the blood off of his face.
“R-rrad-io a-act-ivve“ Peter was struggling to speak now, his tongue feeling a bit heavy.
“Still radioactive, yes.” Miguel said, moving off of Peter and laying to his side. “I love you.” He said, pressing his body against Peter’s, moving Peter’s arm so it was around his waist. Cute. Peter tried to pull Miguel a bit closer as he felt his body start to recover from the effects of the venom. It was still numbing him, but he was able to actually feel most of his body.
Miguel was silent for a bit as Peter relaxed his body. “Did you enjoy, mi amor?”
“Mmm.” Peter hummed, pulling Miguel closer. “I loved it.” Peter shut his eyes. “Did you like it?”
“Mhm.” Miguel nuzzled his face against Peter’s chest, purring. “Your blood tastes weird.” He mumbled. “If I get sick, it’s your fault.”
“Are you sure you aren’t a vampire, babe?” Miguel grunted in response, hugging Peter tighter. “If you’re fine with it, I might ask you to bite me more often.” Peter added, Miguel nodding.
“I’m fine with it.” Miguel said. “Don’t tell the others.” He mumbled, Peter pouting.
“But I thought you wanted to mark me up, darling. I want to show off my bruises.” Peter smiled, Miguel huffed.
“Your suit will cover them.” He mumbled.
“Next time leave some higher up.”
“No.”
“I’m leaving marks on you next time.” Peter said, laughing when Miguel stayed silent. “You’re so cute, you’d like that, wouldn’t you?”
“Shut up.” Miguel mumbled. “Go to sleep.” He was silent for a bit before groaning, standing up. “Don’t sleep yet. I need to brush my teeth again.”
“What does that have to do with me sleeping?”
“I want you to hold me. If you’re sleeping it will be harder.” Miguel huffed, storming out of the room. Peter let out a laugh, laying back.
He felt his neck carefully, feeling that even the newer bite mark was already beginning to heal, though at least the scabs would be there for a day. He was tempted to push the neck of his Spider suit a bit lower for tomorrow’s meeting, just to see how Miguel would react, though maybe that’d be a bit too much. The phrase “happy wife, happy life” was always a good one to go by, though in this case, Peter guessed it’d be more like happy boyfriend, happy life.
He sat up as he heard Miguel enter again a few moments later, opening his arms as Miguel laid on top of him, hugging Peter. “Go to sleep.” He said, Peter smiling as he pet Miguel’s hair, Miguel shutting his eyes as he nuzzled against Peter, shifting slightly so they were in the position that they were in prior to Miguel apparently needing to get the radioactive taste out of his mouth.
“Goodnight, my love.” Peter said, speaking softly.
“Goodnight, mi amor.” Miguel mumbled back, hugging him a bit tighter.
