Third novel finished, this one being a fanfiction. I always had prejudices and thought fanfic was for bad writers, but I felt the need to tell my story from this game I love so much. I have to admit it's much easier to tell my own tale without the pressure of staying true to the canon, but also mixing things like Dimitry using the HEV, which I had in mind since I started brainstorming Half-Life: Ampere.
If it weren't for the many translation programs, I don't think I would have been able to keep up with the original text I was working on. Blessings of modern science.
I've thought about trying to create a mod for HL2 with this premise, but it would take a lot of time to learn, and I have other projects I wouldn't want to procrastinate on.

Will there be a sequel? Maybe yes, maybe no.
How long did it take me to write this story? Although I came up with it in 2021, I didn't startworking away from the first episode until 2023, as I was busy with "Fragments of a Broken World – The Lost City" last year. So even if I wasn't writing every day, you could say it took me about eight months or so.
Did I play the HL mod called Point of View? I played it when I was a child and quit in the final boss because it was annoying fight that MTM-8 Robotic Loader, heh…
