Summary
Even though the adults in their respective families are aggravating, Heart envies Li Ming for knowing so many gay people he can talk to. The internet and foreign movies aren't a substitute at all. He hardly has any contacts in his phone at all: relatives, Li Ming, some new friends from the church group for the deaf, and Jim.
He doesn't think Jim likes him much. But he's not looking for friendship. Just answers. He showers and puts his pajamas on, and then sends a brief Can we talk? as he stretches out in bed.
