Summary
Xue Yang barely gets the door open before he’s shoving Song Lan through it, crowding him against the wall beside it. He kicks the door closed, leaning in even closer, close enough that Song Lan can smell the Irish car bomb on his breath, can see the long, dark sweep of his eyelashes. “Get it out,” he says, his eyes sharp, focused. Not drunk then.
“Get what out?” For a terrifying second, Song Lan thinks he means his wallet. That Xue Yang’s about to rob him. Until he realizes how stupid that is. If he wanted to steal his wallet, he had plenty of opportunities before Song Lan was literally pushed against his entry way wall.
