Summary
For your whump-loving, angst-seeking, slow-burn needs.
Collection of my favourite heavy hurt/comfort Destiel fics, mostly involving themes of slavery, sexual and non, or deep societal divisions (often set in the Omegaverse). Some of the fics also include (or mainly focus on) homelessness, prostitution and rape recovery.
Every story is both added to the collection and bookmarked—in the bookmarks you can find my comments on the fics, which can be useful to figure out what you want to read first; plus they're all tagged for easier searching. Check out the Intro section of the collection to see the tags I used!

Summary
The title of this collection comes from a Robert Frost poem and reflects on how issues and traumas must be work through not around even if it is painful, difficult, scary to do so. This collection focus is to gather quality works about recovery, h/c, angst with resolution e.g. having both realistic portrayals of challenges and people learning to manage them. Various parings and fandoms are welcome; works may be K-E, but M and E will be evaluated on the integration and intent of content into the overall themes/issues explored in the work. Completed works are preferred, but WIP that have been updated recently will be considered. For a series the first/main work will be added under works and the series a whole is in the bookmark tab.
