Thalia was sighing.
Chiron told her what Luke did.
He was trying to destroy the gods and the demigods with them.
Thalia never felt that kind of pain before.
Someone sat next to her.
"Annabeth, I'm not in a mood for a lecture. "
"I am not Annabeth."
Thalia turned to see Percy beside her, an awkward smile on his face.
"What do you want?" Thalia asked and Percy said. "I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"Luke."
Thalia looked at Percy, who said. "He was a friend when I first got here. I really thought I had found a home, thanks to him."
Thalia smiled, sadly. "Luke has always been good with children."
"Not a child, I'm 13!"
Thalia laughed. "And you are a child, Perce."
Percy smiled, before saying. "I know that you are hurt, now. It must be hard… all of this."
Thalia nodded. "We… we never really liked our parents, they left us."
"Thalia, they didn't have a choice."
Thalia looked at Percy, who said. "The Laws prevented them from reaching their children. They can't do more than us."
Thalia sighed. "I understand it now. Luke hadn't."
"He is trying to get revenge for you, I think." Percy explained. "You are his friend. And he lost you because of them."
Thalia smiled, sadly. "And now that I am back, he isn't here."
"Maybe it is the reason why you are back."
Thalia blinked. "Meaning?"
"Maybe you are here cause you are the only one who could save Luke from himself."
Thalia smiled. "I like this idea."
Percy smiled back.
