Work Text:

Why do they have to make out in the halls? Don’t they have dorms they could go to? Or, I don’t know the cafeteria or the quad? This campus is huge!”

Sana rolled her eyes, "Devi, you"re only saying that because Ben isn"t here. If he was, you’d be doing the exact same thing. It’s Valentine’s Day, for god sakes!"

Devi raised an eyebrow

“Sana please, you know Ben and I aren’t like that. We’re more…private, I guess. Besides, Valentine’s Day isn’t that important. That’s why we’re celebrating over the weekend.”

Devi was pulling out her dorm keys when she heard a voice behind her and Sana. "Delivery for Devi Vishwakumar from Benjamin Gross?"

A delivery man approached her with an arrangement of roses that looked like a work of art, along with a small box of chocolates. It was prettier than any bouquet or jewelry box she had ever seen. Devi stifled a smile, but she couldn’t stop herself from blushing.

"Yep, that’s me."

The delivery man nodded, extending his clipboard to her. "Good, just sign here and here."

Devi signed as she felt Sana"s chuckle in her ear.

"Thank you so much. Enjoy your gift and happy Valentine"s Day!"

Sana smiled, “I guess I’ll get the chocolates then, since you’re seemingly so superior.”

"I hope not, they’re her favorite chocolates,” Ben said, walking up to Devi with a crocheted kitten in his hands, "I didn"t know if I was going to make it here in time, so I had your gift sent. But look, I made an amigurumi! Apparently crocheting is a relaxing hobby?"

Devi couldn’t hold back anymore, so she put down the gift and ran up to Ben, pulling him in by his neck. She kissed him, and he wrapped her in a hug, smiling into the kiss.

Sana rolled her eyes and decided to poke fun at the comment Devi made earlier, "Damn! All these people who won"t get a room."

Ben and Devi broke apart, laughing.

"I"m never going to hear the end of this, am I?"

Sana shook her head no.

"Never, I‘ll be using this against you until your wedding day!"

Ben smiled, motioning to Sana, “I brought you something too, one sec.” He dug out a medical anatomy coloring book from his bag and handed it to her.

"Damn okay, I forgive you. Devi, this is our boyfriend now," Sana joked as she accepted the gift.

Devi laughed, giving her a friendly punch. "I love you girl, but I"m not sharing," she turned and gave Ben a quick kiss on the cheek, “he’s mine.”

"What a shame. Well, have a nice time, I’m gonna leave and stop third-wheeling now."

“Bye, Sana. See you on Monday!” Devi called out as they waved goodbye to each other.

"So, shall we go in?" Devi asked, motioning towards her dorm.

"Yep, unless you want to go out?"

Devi shook her head. “There are too many people going out today, I just want to spend time alone with you.”

……..

Devi sighed, still coming down from her orgasm as she snuggled into Ben’s side.

He smiled, stroking her hair and giving her a kiss.

"Someone was eager," Devi laughed.

Ben smiled, sinking his face into her neck and whispering into her ear. "You"re just too hot to handle."

His hand was under the covers gently caressing her hip when her stomach started grumbling.

"I can"t believe the delivery guy isn"t here yet! I mean, I know they have a lot of orders because of Valentine"s Day, but I"m starving!"

Devi started putting on Ben’s clothes and playfully winked at him, “oh, the advantages of being the same clothing size!"

Ben rolled his eyes, and Devi grabbed the box of chocolates he had sent her. She sat back down next to him, and he tried to grab one.

"Nuh-uh, these are mine."

"And mine too? I did buy them."

Devi rolled her eyes, but handed him a chocolate.

"Wait a sec, I have something for you too.”

Devi stood up and walked to her dresser, pulling out a wrapped box and a stack of post-its with cute messages.

Ben smiled

"Oh, what’s th-"

"Open it!"

Ben couldn"t stop smiling as he read the I love you messages on the post-its and tore open the wrapping on the box. They were the same chocolates Devi"s mom bought, the same ones Devi had brought him on his 16th birthday.

"Aww, this is amazing! I love you, Devi."

Ben pulled her into a tight hug, plating a little kiss on her forehead. He held her close for a few seconds, until he heard his phone chime.

"Finally! The delivery guy is here!"

Devi sighed happily, "Thank gods! I thought we were going to starve to death!"
