Work Text:

"When are you gonna get back out there Lise?"

Lisa sighs at her sister's question. This is a question she gets asked a lot. Her family and friends keep insisting she needs a boyfriend, a male company. With Ben away at university Lisa was now alone. Even now she still suffered with empty nest syndrome she missed her baby boy so much.

However despite all that Lisa is reluctant to go back into dating. She always felt something held her back stopped her from moving on and she could never understand why. She thought if she moved on with someone else it would be betrayal which she couldn't understand because she didn't know who she would be betraying.

Sometimes when she does yoga and meditation she gets glimpses of someone a man, green eyes, freckles. Every time she reaches out the images fade away into oblivion. When those images fade she gets that familiar emptiness in her chest again. A sense of longing and pain. These feelings they confused her she couldn't comprehend what any of it meant. So eventually Lisa blocked out those unwanted emotions and did her best to focus on the present. This included a pact she made for herself that she will continue to live as a single, free, independent woman she didn't need a man in her life to make her happy. She has her family, her friends she is perfectly content.

So she keeps telling herself.

"Well? " Her sister pushed for an answer.

Lisa always gave her the same reply.

"I'm not looking for anyone in this moment of time Sandra."

Her sister scoffs.

"You are gonna die alone sis."

"I have my son. " Lisa stated firmly. "He's all I care about right now."

"Ben is not gonna stick around for forever. Eventually he will start his own family and move on with his life. "

"I know. " Lisa sighs. "Look can we not talk about this please? I'm not in the mood."

"Can you at least hear me out? I know this one guy from my work his name is Rodney and I believe he is single... "

"Hey you know what I think I'm going to go it's getting quite late and I have a big day tomorrow."

"Sure. " Her sister didn't sound convinced. "Well talk to you soon. "

"Same to you. Bye. "

"Bye bye. "

The call ended.

Lisa puts the phone down and runs a hand down her face.

She is really not in the mood for this.

After brushing her teeth and changing into her pyjamas Lisa goes into bed and reads for a while. After a few chapters Lisa places a bookmark in her book and places it on the table next to her. She then switches the lamp off and snuggles down into the bed.

Eventually Lisa's eyes slowly drift shut.

A loud noise causes Lisa to abruptly wake up. She sits up in bed and turns on her lamp. She looks round the room trying to find where the noise came from.

There is nothing here.

Lisa frowns. Did she imagine it? Was it just a bad dream?

As Lisa goes to look around the room again she hears a voice that sends a shiver down her spine.

"Lisa."

The voice is deep and male.

It came from the corner of the room.

"Who's there?" Lisa asked trying to her best to keep the fear out of her voice.

Just then a figure stepped out of the shadows.

The first thing Lisa noticed was his eyes. They are green.

Just like the ones I've seen! She thought.

His hair is dirty blonde and his cheeks are dusted with freckles.

He wore a flannel shirt, jeans and boots.

This man looked familiar. Lisa couldn't pin point how she knew him but she is certain they have met beforehand.

An image of this man flashed across her eyes.

He wraps his arm around her and kisses her cheek. He tries to grab a muffin but she slaps his hand away.

"No. Not until after dinner." She scolded at him.

"But they are so good."  He moaned.

"As good as me?" She teased him.

He shakes his head and pulls her close.

"Never."

He then leans forward and kisses her on the lips.

As Lisa goes to grasp on to that image it is gone again faded into the abyss.

When Lisa looked at him again. She didn't recognize him. That's when she realized.

There's an intruder in her house.

"Lisa." The man raises his hands. "I'm not gonna hurt you."

But Lisa is already out of the bed and grabbing on to the first thing she can use as a weapon. She grabs a golf club. She wasn't sure why she had a golf club she doesn't play golf but she always felt like she needed to keep it. She aims the golf club at the intruder.

"Get out of my house!" She glares at him. "Or I will call the police."

He responds with a sigh.

"I know how this looks but I swear I'm not here to hurt you. Lisa..."

"How do you know my name?"

"Because I know you." He answers softly. "And you know me."

"I don't know you." He steps forward. Lisa stumbles back with the golf club gripped tight in her hand. "Stay away from me!"

"Alright alright." He stayed rooted on the spot. He didn't move another step. His eyes then go on to hers. He slowly shakes his head. "You are still as beautiful as I remembered."

Lisa studies his face. She saw a mixture of pain, regret and longing. She knew that because she too has experienced them emotions for years emotions she couldn't understand or overcome she has felt stuck unable to move on.

Was this man the same as her? Was he stuck too.

"I'm sorry for everything. "

Another image? Another vision? Lisa wasn't sure. She wasn't sure what is going on right now she felt scared and confused.

He seemed to sense that. He gives her a guilty look.

"I shouldn't have done what I did taken your memories away from you it wasn't right and I'm sorry I'm sorry for everything."

"I'm sorry for everything. "

Lisa clutched her head as she felt a spike a pain go through it. The golf club trembled in her hand.

"No." She mumbled to herself.

His eyebrows shot up.

"You remember?"

"Remember what?"

"Us."

"Us? There is no us!" Lisa spat out angrily. "I don't even know you!"

Lisa didn't sound so sure now.

This time he did step forward. Lisa stood paralyzed with fear as his hand goes on the golf club. He gently takes it off her and props it up against the wall.

"Hey." He smiles at her. "It's okay."

No no this is not okay he is an intruder Lisa needs to do something! Instead she found herself staring at him as he came towards her. She didn't move away as he tucks a stray of hair behind her ear.

"It's okay." He repeated. His smile grew and his eyes conveyed love and warmth.

That love and warmth is directed at her.

For some reason Lisa found herself drawn to him. She reaches out and places her hand on his cheek. As soon as she touched him she felt a jolt of electricity go through her. The touch it felt so familiar. The buzz it gave her felt familiar.

He leans into her touch. A tear slowly goes down his cheek. Lisa brushes the tears away with her thumb.

"Hey." She cups both his cheeks and gets him to look at her. "We'll get through this together okay? I'll never leave you Dean I promise."

She squeezes his hand.

"I promise."

"Dean." She said out loud testing the word on her tongue.

Just then another sharp pain goes through her head. She groans. He places his hands on her face and gives her a concerned look.

"Lisa?"

"Dean?" She repeated his name. "Dean."

The more she said his name the more images flashed across her eyes. Images of the time they spent together, the images of him spending time with her son, images of them arguing, images of the demon...

The demon.

"I was possessed." She narrows her eyes at him. "I was never in a car accident."

He nods.

"That's right."

"Dean." Her eyes widen. "Dean." Tears form in her eyes. "Dean."

The tears are streaming down her face now. The emptiness in her chest, the feeling of longing it all made sense now. She was longing for him a man she couldn't even remember.

A man who stole her memories without her consent.

Without thinking Lisa slaps him across the face.

She then broke down and cried.

"I deserved that." He said with a wince.

"How could you?" She glares at him. "HOW COULD YOU!" He goes to comfort her but she pushes him away. "YOU HAD NO RIGHT!" She points at him. "NO RIGHT!"

"You are right and I don't expect you to forgive me Hell I don't even forgive myself. "

"Ben." Lisa became alarmed. "Oh my God Ben."

"I was only trying to protect you both."

"Why?" Lisa shakes her head. "Why now? Why come and see me after all these years huh?"

"Because I miss you." He said his voice cracking with emotion. "And Ben."

"That's not good enough."

"Lisa."

He is back in her personal space again. Lisa wanted to push him again but she couldn't because part of her wants him to get close. She wants to be held by him just like the good old days.

No.

She pushes that idea out of her head.

"I never stopped thinking about you."

"Dean no."

"It was never my intention to hurt you or Ben. "

"Well you did hurt me." She snaps at him.

He holds her hands. He had tears forming in his own eyes.

"I always loved you... I never stopped loving you."

"Dean...please stop."

He is holding her hands tight now.

Lisa removes one of her hands and goes to brush his tears away. As she does that he leans into her touch.

Just like the one in her memory.

They stare at each other for several moments. Then they both slowly move towards each other.

Her lips met his.

As soon as she kissed him all the anger she felt towards him vanished.

Right now all she wants is for him to fill the emptiness inside her.

Lisa pulls away from the kiss with a gasp. She then pulls her T-shirt off followed by her shorts. Shortly after Dean removes his clothes. Lisa watched with awe as his body came into view. She drank every part of him in wanting to cherish this moment forever.

Dean pulls her in and kisses her again. Lisa wraps her legs around his waist as he guides her to the bed. He gently lies her down on the bed then climbs on top of her.

"I've missed this." He kisses her stomach. "All of this."

He kisses her breasts and sucks on her nipples. Lisa moans as he fondled with her breasts. Another groan escaped her as he kissed her thighs and teased her entrance.

"Aww baby." Dean gives her a peck on the lips and smiles at her. It was adorable smile. His smile made her smile. She hasn't smiled this much for years.

He trails his fingers through her hair and grins at her. A boyish grin. Again she smiled at him. She then raises her finger at him.

"Don't keep me waiting Winchester."

He laughs at that.

"Don't worry sweetheart." He smirks at her. "It will be worth the wait."

He goes between her legs. Lisa gasps as he goes inside her.

Lisa grips the sheets hard as he started to rock her. Sweat starts to pour down her face as he picks up the pace.

She curses out loud as he gave her a hard thrust.

"Dean!"

He responds with a growl. That growl made Lisa weak to her knees.

He then grasps her hair and pulls her forward. Lisa smirks at him.

"Playing rough huh?"

His eyes darken. His lips from into a wicked grin.

"You have no idea. "

He pushes himself against her and his lips slam into hers. Lisa chokes with surprise as she felt his tongue go deep inside her. Once she got over her shock Lisa wraps her arms around his waist and responds to the kiss. She went back at him just as hard.

"Someone is feisty tonight." Dean grinned.

Lisa laughs.

"You asked for it."

Dean suddenly pins her down on to the bed.

"I'm teaching you a lesson. One you will never not forget. "

She gives him an amused look.

"Really? Like what?"

He smiles and goes back to thrusting her again. Lisa scoffs to herself.

He is such a tease. She thought.

Then Lisa starts to feel a burning sensation coming from below. She assumed she is close.

"Dean I need to..." The words died in her throat when her eyes go on his.

He looks at her with that same smirk still on his lips but his eyes something wasn't right with his eyes. The familiar warmth in them are gone. Now his eyes are cold as ice.

For some reason that made Lisa feel uneasy.

"Dean." She swallows. "I think I would like to stop now."

"Why?" He grins. "We are just getting started."

The burning sensation became stronger and it started to spread up her legs. Lisa looks down and notices her legs are glowing white.

What the Hell?

"Dean what's going on?"

Lisa suddenly screams as the pain now reaches her stomach. She tries to move away but she finds herself frozen. She couldn't move a muscle.

"DEAN! " Her eyes widen with fear. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME?"

He looks at her.

"He needs to be taught a lesson."

He? Did he just say he?

Lisa again screams as it now moves up to her chest and consumes her arms. She felt like she is being burned alive.

Her body started to tremble as his towering figure looms over her. His face is inches away from here. Lisa wanted to scream for help but nothing would come out. It was like he is controlling her. Every part of her.

He chuckled as she tries to fight against his restraints.

"It was nice knowing you Lise." He smiles at her. The smile is cruel and twisted. It looked wrong so wrong on his face. "I'm sorry we have to cut this short but I have places to be."

He goes away from her. Lisa noticed he is wearing clothes again but not the clothes he came in with no these clothes are different. The clothes he wore looked like something from the 1950's.

This isn't Dean no way this is Dean.

With as much a strength as she could muster Lisa glares at him and asks.

"What are you?"

He tilts his head.

"Not Dean." He replied.

Before Lisa could push for more answers the soaring pain now consumes her face. Then a loud agonizing cry rips out her and her whole body glows white.

Seconds later the light dies down revealing a burned corpse.

The silence is interrupted by a scream.

"NO! "

Michael heard his vessel's scream. The archangel responds with a smirk.

"I warned you Dean and you didn't listen."

"YOU FUCKING BASTARD!"

"Keeping fighting me and I will kill another loved one of yours I will keep going until your brother is the last one left and Sam...His death will be the most painful out of them all. "

"She...She didn't deserve that."

"And you are so right but Dean." Michael shakes his head. "You did this you killed her the blood is on your hands. Thanks to you young Ben now doesn't have a mom. There will be many more deaths unless you stop fighting me and give in. "

Michael turns to the mirror. In his reflection he can see his vessel. His vessel looks devastated and heartbroken. Michael had no sympathy for him he told his vessel the consequences and he didn't listen so Michael needed to teach him a lesson he needed to put him in his place and show him who is boss.

"Do you understand now?" Michael asks.

Dean looks at him. His lips are trembling. He then whispers.

"Yes."

"What was that?"

"Yes." Dean said louder this time.

Michael steps towards the mirror. He leans towards his reflection.

"Yes what Dean? "

"Yes I understand." Dean said with defeat in his voice.

Michael smiles.

"Good boy."

The next day Ben Braeden received a call informing him of his mom's death.

When Ben saw his mom's body the young man broke down into tears.

The officer places his hand on Ben's shoulder.

"We'll find them son we'll find the son of a bitch who did this."

Ben lifts his head. He looks at the officer before looking at his mom again. He then clenched his fists and a murderous expression formed on his face.

Not if I find them first.

The End

Notes:

Yes that was an open ending but I only plan for this to be a one shot but you can imagine what Ben will do after this. :)
