Third person POV:
Pont felt the burns in his legs but he didn't stop running. Dally had called him moments before, telling him how he robbed DX with a fake gun and now the cops were after him and he was scared. He also explained how he was leading them on a car speed chase, and was scared they'd kill him.
Pony didn't think twice before telling his boyfriend to park at the park where Johnny died, but to not get out of the car and wait for him to get their before running to him like his life depended on it. Only telling the gang dally needed him before running out the house.
He ran for a minuet or two before reaching his destination. He put his hands up and walked infront of the car, and infront of the front door, whispering to dally to get out of the car and stay behind him. Dally didn't even hesitate for a second before opening the door, and stepping outside of it and staying behind his boyfriend.
" PUT YOUR HANDS UP, OR WE'LL SHOOT! " A officer screamed and dally looked at pony unsure. Pony nodded at him and he put his hands up where they could be seen. " We're gonna go to the trunk alright? " Pony yelled out to the police and when he got a nod of confirmation he slowly began inching towards the trunk telling dally to keep his hands up.
The police officer watched closely, unsure of what was going on, but as long as Dallas was cooperating it was fine with him, he could care less. But he couldn't help but to wonder who this kid was, and think about how he was a real one and he was happy the delinquent found someone to hold him down.
He had heard about the fire, and the death of johnny cade and it was no surprise that dally snapped soon after and did something stupid after keeping his record clean for the longest he ever has that the officer knew of.
The gang finally arrived and began yelling for pony to move but he ignored it. " I-im just gonna grab anything form his pockets and I'll slide it to you, alright? " He screamed to the officer and they nodded. " Slowly, or we will shoot! " They ordered and he nodded. Pony slowly digged into dallys pocket taking out a fake gun, and slowly lowering himself on the ground before sliding it to the officers.
The officer confirmed it wad a fake gun, and pony slowly stood up shaking, putting his in dallys other pocket and took it out before bending down once again slowly, and slid it to the officers before once again getting up, and shakily putting his hands up.
Pony wasn't gonna lie he was scared, hell he was shaking but he refused to move away form dally. On the sidelines he heard the gang yelling for dally to put his hands up but he didn't listen, instead he looked to pony for instructions and that made his heart warm up.
" Put your hands on the car hood. " He instructed his boyfriend in a shaky voice, still infront of him hands up in the air. " Move out the way! " A police officer yelled but he didn't care. " I'm not letting you kill him! " He screamed in response, and smiled softly when he saw one of the cops putting his gun away and grabbing his tazer instead.
" Get on the ground!!! " Another officer yelled, and pony could hear more police cars in the distance. Slowly pony began lowering himself onto the ground well also leading and instructing dally also get onto the ground. He instructed dally to lay on his stomach and put his hands on his back well doing the same thing and waited for a officer to come over and handcuff them.
He layed on the ground, his hands behind his back as a officer dragged picked up his boyfriend and then another one of them helped him up, and thanked him for the help before beginning to leave when pony stopped him.
" I wanna go with him. " He said softly, this was the same man who had changed his gun to a tazer do he had respect for him unlike the others. " Are you sure? You'd have to go in a cop car and be handcuffed.. " He said hesitantly, and pony nodded.
" Yes, im the only one hed listen too, trust me.. Most of the officers know me, I help them get answers from dally.. " He said softly. " Alright, I'll be the one to drive you guys just in case the others have a probldm, but i need to tell them first. " He said and pony nodded before he walked off to go talk to the others officers.
He knew darry would scold him, and dally later but he couldn't care less he was just glad to be able to save atleast one person he loved and he had no regrets.
