Day Six

08:53 am

Breakfast begins in thirty-seven minutes, but most of the campers are still asleep. Auggie jogs down the clear path with Barbie, Buck, and Annie. Zira is on a leisurely walk with Cas pointing out different flora. Spock has agreed to spar with Jim in the gymnasium, walking in on Len and Junior doing the same. Klaus and Elijah have settled in the library, brushing themselves off with some novels. An air horn sounds through the speakers, startling teenagers and waking the rest.

“I hope everyone’s had plenty of sleep! Everyone needs to meet me on the bleachers surrounding the stage, pronto! We’re going to go over today’s challenge before breakfast!”

The teenagers grunt and groan, moving at a snail’s pace to get dressed. Several of them don’t bother getting out of their workout gear or pajamas. Once all of the teenagers have taken a seat around the stage, Chris walks out to explain the challenge.

sh“It’s simple. Today, all six teams have eight hours to find their five most talented teammates to represent them in… a talent show! As punishment for being the first five members of your team getting out first in the Insomniax challenge - names will be posted by Chef - you will be required to partake in today’s challenge alongside one volunteer per team." He claps his hands. “Alright, go eat breakfast and hold auditions!”

Team Bass

Leonard

Larry

Annie

Shawn

Sheldon

"Okay, if you five are going to be forced to perform, what can you do?" Barbie takes the lead.

"I brought my cello," Leonard tells him.

"I will demonstrate a physics experiment," Sheldon announces.

"I know origami," Larry offers.

"I've excelled at taekwondo," Annie tells her teammates.

Eyes fall on Shawn, who shrugs. "I can do improv."

Barbie nods and, before he can ask for someone to volunteer, Peter P takes a step from the group, his hand raised.

"I'd like to recite a piece of poetry that I like."

"Can you make it engaging for the crowd?" Barbie asks the real question.

"Undoubtedly."

"You're on."

Team Eagles

Liv

Al

Gopher

Shaun

Keys

"Alright," Rick claps his hands together, taking on the role of leader, "let's see what everyone can do. Al?"

"I've got boxing, Billiards, and card tricks."

"Okay. Well, Billiards won't be interesting to a crowd of a hundred, but let's keep those other two. Keys?"

"I can't do anything. Aside from computer programming."

"We can work with that," Rick nods. "Gopher?"

"Ooh, I'm into sailing and golfing, and I'm a singer-songwriter."

"That's good. Got any songs with you?"

"Sure."

"Then we got your talent. That leaves Liv and Shaun."

"Kung fu, hacking, trivia, and - if someone's got a puppet - I do some mean ventriloquism," Liv announces.

"I can play piano," Shaun informs his group.

"And I could make a puppet for you," Mac tells Liv.

Rick grins a little. "Good. That's settled. Now, who will volunteer?"

"I can play guitar to any song," Dean speaks up. "If I can get a look at Gopher's music sheets, I can pick it up and play for his singing."

Gopher nods, and Rick slaps his hands together again.

Team Gophers

Daphne

Gus

Jane

Ravi

Meredith

Spock steps away from the crowd, back straight like a soldier, his arms clasped behind him. Despite his young age, he takes over as Team Captain.

"We need to discuss the talents of the required contestants. Realistically, we should adhere to this alphabetically. Daphne, what can you showcase to a crowd of approximately one hundred?"

She raises an eyebrow at his phrasing but answers nonetheless. "I can surf and I've been in gymnastics since before school."

Following the alphabet, Gus speaks next. "I'm a Super Sniffer, safecracker, and beatboxer."

Jane shrugs. "I know football and archery."

"I don't really have any talents," Meredith complains. "I mean, I can sing soul music, I guess."

"You will have time to practice," Spock tells her. "Ravi?"

"Oh! Right. I... well, I know Call of Duty. Uh, and I can play the violin."

"I do not understand your initial reference, however, the violin is often pleasing. This will be your talent. After hearing everyone's talents, Daphne will perform a gymnastics routine, Gus will showcase his Sniffer skills, Jane will perform archery, Meredith will sing, and Ravi will play the violin. I contest that you practice immediately." He turns to the remaining teammates. "Who among you has a talent they would like to exploit to benefit our team?"

Auggie taps his stick a few times to the ground to garner attention after a few seconds of silence. "I'd like to show hand-to-hand combat."

"Very well," Spock nods. "I suggest the rest of us break apart and act as separate audience members to help our teammates grow accustomed to the prospect."

Team Skunks

Javier

Helen

Spencer

Millie

Will

"Do we even have a team leader?" Oswald asks annoyedly after the teammates squabble and talk amongst themselves for a few minutes.

"I nominate Henry," Daryl raises his hand. "All in favor?" Seven hands are raised.

"Well, I nominate Barry," Monroe protests. "All in favor?" Six hands are raised.

"It's official," Barry shrugs. "Henry, take the floor."

Henry rolls his eyes behind closed lids. "Now that that is fixed... what talents do our required contestants have?"

"I can dance and do Capoeira," Javier explains. "That's a Brazilian martial arts form."

"I'm on the drill team," Helen proudly tells the others.

"I love physics magic," Spencer grins. "Even if I weren't required, I'd sign up with that."

Millie smiles. "Coding is my life, so I could put on a demonstration."

Will hums distractedly. "I am a marksman, so if we could find a BB gun or paintball, I can show you what I mean."

Henry nods. "Looks like we've got that arranged. Now, for the volunteer..."

"Bones has a harmonica," Velma states with a smile. "He should do something with that."

"Bones?" Henry asks, and the teen in question nods. "Excellent. We have a performance lineup."

Team Squirrels

Michael

Mike

Anita

Adam

Lucas

Apropos of nothing and without a team leader, Michael tells the group that he has parkour skills, and he'd like to show them off. Mike follows with an exciting idea.

"I can hold a mock trial. I know all the proceedings, so I can be the plaintiff, defendant, judge, jury; I could even be a bailiff!"

"And I have my camera!" Lucas exclaims. "I can create a noir video. I'll get started right now!"

He runs off toward his cabin, and Clark speaks up. While he's on the football team, he loves to play baseball for fun - so he likes to learn new tricks with the sport. He easily volunteers before the required teammates finish discovering what they'll do.

"I love taking photos," Anita says. "I can do something with that."

"And I can make jump rope exciting," Adam decides.

Team Turtles

Keith

Kevin

Goose

Lyle

Cristina

"I want to volunteer with my riddles," Edward announces before the others can begin.

Sherlock looks a little put out that Edward has already chosen to join the talent show, but Jim smiles.

"Sounds good. We like your riddles."

"I can do something with table tennis," Cristina says. "It isn't really a skill, but I can play fast solo if we can find a table."

"There's one at the RAC," John tells her.

"I can breakdance," Keith shrugs. "I'm not great at it, but it's something I've done from time to time with my friends."

"Well, I can dance and play piano," Kevin explains to his teammates. "That's what you get from Catholic school."

Lyle clears his throat. "I am engaged in mixed martial arts, although I also enjoy baking. Maybe if I bake, it'll sway the judges."

"Conniving," Loki compliments him.

"Make enough for the audience, and you'll sway the whole camp," Klaus comments.

"What about you, Goose?" Patrick asks the last member who needs to identify with a talent. "What's your hook?"

He hums at first, rocking on his feet, hands in his pockets. "Volleyball," he lands on. "I'll do volleyball."

Day Six

4:30 PM

The air horn sounds, and Chris reminds the contestants of the time. "Anyone not present around the stage at 17:00 will not be allowed to participate. And… there will be both a reward for the winning team and an elimination for the losing team. Hannibal, since you won Insomniax, you and a chosen member of your team still have immunity should your team lose today. Remember to time your performances for five minutes at a time. You'll be graded on stage presence, timing, skill, and audience appeal."

Throughout the island, the thirty-six contestants practice their hearts out. If they fail, they'll go home. The stakes are high.

Day Six

5:00 PM

Everyone not participating sits on the bleachers surrounding the stage. Chris, Chef, and one of the interns (Penny) take seats behind an erected judges’ table, and Chris speaks into the microphone in front of him.

“Welcome to the first ever Total Drama Got Talent! Contestants will have five minutes each; ten if you perform as a duo. I repeat that each act will be judged by a criterion of volume and stage presence, timing, skill, and audience appeal. You’ll receive anything up to a 300% rating. The team with the highest rating – a possible 1800 points are up for grabs – will win a reward, while the team with the lowest rating overall will be going through an elimination ceremony. In case you couldn't tell, we are running through the groups by order of the game's total scores thus far. With that in mind, we'll begin with Team Bass."

CURRENT SCORES: Gophers (40), Squirrels (30), Turtles (5), Eagles (-5), Skunks (-10), Bass (-15)

The stage is bathed in soft, warm lights as the murmurs of anticipation fill the air. The audience eagerly awaits the first performer, and as the curtains slowly draw back, revealing the stage, their excitement heightens. Our hostess Elsa takes the stage, grinning warmly.

"Welcome everyone to our talent showcase! I can't wait to see all the amazing acts. Up first is Larry with his origami. Give it up for Larry!"

At centre stage stands a young man, his eyes sparkling with a mix of enthusiasm and focus. Onscreen at the bottom, it reads Larry Fleinhardt, age 19, Talent: Origami. Dressed in a crisp white shirt and neatly pressed trousers, he exudes a sense of quiet confidence.

Larry approaches a large table adorned with colorful paper squares of various sizes. With gentle precision, he picks up a piece and begins to fold. Traditional Japanese music begins to play in the background as the audience watches in awe. The paper quickly transforms under his skilled hands, taking shape in ways unimaginable. He starts with a simple crane, his fingers moving with grace and purpose. Each crease he makes is deliberate as if he's sculpting the very essence of the paper itself. The crane comes to life, its delicate wings unfurling, as if ready to take flight. But Larry's talent doesn't dare stop at the crane. He moves on to more complex designs, seamlessly transitioning from one masterpiece to the next. A majestic dragon emerges, its scales and fierce expression crafted with meticulous detail. The crowd watches in amazement, captivated by the artistry unfolding before their eyes, gasping when the wings effortlessly flap.

As the performance continues, Larry's hands dance across the table, fluidly transforming paper into a menagerie of animals, flowers, and geometric wonders. Each creation holds its own story, told through intricate folds and thoughtful design. Time feels as though it stands still as Larry's performance reaches its climax. With a flourish, he produces a majestic origami unicorn. The crowd erupts into thunderous applause, and Larry beams with pride. He takes a bow and blows kisses to his fans.

Elsa beams. "Wow Larry, your creations were truly works of art! Judges?"

Penny jots down her notes. "Flawless skill and showmanship, 10/10."

Chris nods approvingly. "Great stage presence. 9/10."

Chef shrugs noncommittingly. "I don't get it. 2/10."

Elsa winces at the last score but smiles at Larry as the curtains close and the interns clear up the paper creations. "We are off to an amazing start! Next up is Leonard with his cello. Give it up for Leonard!"

The applause for Larry's breathtaking origami art gradually fades, leaving behind an air of anticipation. As the curtains open this time, the spotlight illuminates a young figure walking onstage; he gives a shy wave to the cheering audience. Onscreen, it reads Leonard Hofstadter, age 16, Talent: Cello. With a deep breath, Leonard positions himself, bow in hand, and glances at the accompanying pianist, an intern named Owen, who waits attentively at the grand piano away from the light. The first notes resonate, filling the atrium with a rich, haunting melody. Leonard's fingers dance across the cello's strings, coaxing out a soulful and melancholic sound that tugs at the heartstrings of the audience. The piece Leonard has chosen is a challenging composition that requires both technical skill and emotional depth. As he plays, his body sways with the music and his eyes fall closed as though he's lost in a world of his creation. Every note he produces is imbued with a profound sense of passion and longing.

The judges sit in rapt silence, completely captivated by the raw emotion and artistry emanating from the young musician. Leonard's playing is a masterful blend of precision and expression, each carefully crafted phrase carrying the weight of his dedication and years of practice. As the piece progresses, Leonard's talent shines brightly. His fingers move without effort, navigating the intricate passages with unwavering accuracy. The cello comes alive in his hands, its deep resonance filling every corner of the area, touching the hearts of all who listen. With the final resounding note, the music comes to a close, leaving a lingering silence in its wake. The audience gives him an ovation, their hands clapping in unison. Leonard's cheeks flush with a mix of pride and relief as he bows graciously.

Elsa beams. "What a lovely performance! Judges, your scores?"

Penny writes in her notebook. "Fluid technique, 8/10."

Chris nods appreciatively. "Well played, 8/10."

Chef rubs his chin thoughtfully. "Smooth sailin'. 7/10."

Elsa nods at the feedback and sends Leonard behind the curtains as they close, and the interns move the piano off the stage.

"Next up is Annie with taekwondo. Annie, let's see what you've got!"

As the echoes of Leonard's cello performance linger in the air, the curtains open for the next act. Dressed in a crisp martial arts uniform, Annie strides onstage, bowing respectfully to the crowd before launching into a visceral display of martial arts technique. Onscreen: Annie Walker, age 17, Talent: Taekwondo. A rhythmic drumbeat fills the space, setting the tempo for her performance. With a swift and graceful movement, she begins her martial arts routine, her body flowing seamlessly from one form to another. Her movements are a symphony of power, precision, and agility, leaving the audience in awe of her skill. She blends elements of all taekwondo techniques, executed with flawless skill and unwavering control. Her body moves with a natural grace, a testament to years of dedicated training. The energy soars as Annie demonstrates a series of breathtaking high kicks, each one performed with astonishing height and speed. The air crackles with anticipation as she effortlessly breaks through boards and wooden targets, the power behind her strikes leaving the judges breathless. Annie's focus and determination are palpable. Her unwavering concentration and discipline showcase not only her physical prowess but also the mental strength and resilience that martial arts have instilled in her. Her kicks and strikes slice powerfully through the air with pinpoint accuracy. When she completes her kata with a warrior's yell, the audience roars in ovation.

Elsa grins, catching her breath. "Incredible skills Annie! Judges, your scores?"

Penny applauds enthusiastically. "Flawless form and technique, 10/10!"

Chris nods with approval. "Powerful moves, great showmanship. 9/10."

Chef rubs his chin contemplatively. "Strong as steel. 8/10."

Elsa smiles at Annie. "You certainly lived up to your talent! Next, we have Shawn with improv comedy. Shawn, the stage is yours - hit us with your best material!"

Shawn bounds onstage, high-fiving Annie as she exits. The curtain closes on their contact, and the interns clean up after the act. When the curtains draw open, the excitable teen smiles mischievously, scanning the audience. There is a small pile of indistinguishable items near the front, to the side onstage. He's wearing Cas's trenchcoat and Sherlock's beekeeper hat. Onscreen: Shawn Spencer, age 15, Talent: Improv Comedy.

Strolling up to the mic, he taps it with an exaggerated "testing, testing" before launching into a comedic monologue about camp escapades.

"You guys will not believe what happened at crafts today," he begins, affecting an overly dramatic tone. "Little Timmy O was gluing googly eyes on his potato when - disaster struck! The glue bottle slipped from his tiny hands and projectile vomited glue everywhere. I'm talking walls, tables, even old Chef over here!"

Chef lets out an amused grunt as the audience giggles. Shawn grins, continuing his tale with ridiculous escapades and impersonations of counselors and campers alike. His witty jabs and silly voices have the audience in hysterics within moments. During one story, Penny drops her notepad from laughing so hard. When he moves to mimic Chris' morning megaphone announcements, the camp leader leans forward with vain interest. Just as the giggles begin to die down, Shawn launches into a silly song about bug juice that has the audience singing along through peals of laughter. By his grand finale involving a talent show mishap, the whole crowd is howling joyfully. As he takes his bow to wild applause. As his time wraps up, Shawn takes a bow to thunderous laughter and applause.

Elsa wipes tears of mirth from her eyes. "Oh my, what a treat! Judges, let's hear those scores."

Penny chuckles, catching her breath. "Superb comedic timing and engagement, 9/10."

Chris nods approvingly. "Top-notch improvisation, made us all laugh. 10/10."

Chef betrays a rare smile. "Had me in stitches, good show. 8/10."

Elsa beams at Shawn. "You brought the fun, thank you! Up next is Sheldon with a physics experiment. Sheldon, it's all you - show us your science skills!"

The curtains close so the stage can be transformed once again for the next performer. When they open again, the stage reveals a skinny young teen whose eyes gleam with an insatiable curiosity. Dressed in a meticulously ironed lab coat and holding a collection of scientific apparatus, he exudes an air of intellectual intensity. Onscreen: Sheldon Cooper, age 16, Talent: Chemistry Demonstration. Quirky music plays in the background as Sheldon approaches a table covered in a myriad of beakers, test tubes, and intricate instruments. The audience leans forward, eager to witness the scientific marvel. Sheldon dons a pair of scientific goggles as he confidently explains the intricacies of his experiment.

"Ladies, gentlemen, esteemed judges, and fellow enthusiasts of scientific inquiry, I stand before you today to present a chemistry experiment that I believe will both captivate your imaginations and expand our understanding of the molecular world. My name is Sheldon Cooper, and at the tender age of 16, I have embarked on a journey to unravel the wonders of chemical reactions. Now, without further ado, let me introduce you to the experiment I have prepared for your enlightenment. Today, I shall demonstrate the fascinating phenomenon of chemiluminescence, a process in which light is emitted as a result of a chemical reaction. This captivating display of luminescence occurs without the need for external illumination, making it a truly enchanting spectacle. To illustrate this concept, I have carefully assembled a series of reactants that, when combined, will produce a mesmerizing glow. But fear not, for I shall guide you through the steps of this experiment, unraveling the mysteries of chemistry along the way."

He reaches for a certain vial and measures precisely. "Step one. I shall take a solution of luminol, a substance known for its remarkable light-emitting properties. This will serve as our primary reactant, the star of our show if you will."

He reaches for an empty beaker and adds a dash of liquid from an unmarked bottle. "Step two. To activate the luminol, I will add a small amount of hydrogen peroxide, an oxidizing agent. This will initiate a chemical reaction that generates excited-state molecules within the luminol solution."

Next, he grabs two Petrie dishes and an ear dropper. "Step three. The true magic is about to happen. I will introduce a catalyst into the mix, typically a compound containing iron or copper ions. This catalyst acts as a molecular matchmaker, facilitating the transfer of energy from the excited-state molecules to the surrounding environment, manifesting as a radiant glow. And now, if you would kindly direct your attention to the beaker before me, I will perform this experiment live, allowing you to witness the extraordinary phenomenon of chemiluminescence firsthand. As I mix the luminol solution, hydrogen peroxide, and the catalyst, observe the gradual transformation of the liquid before your eyes."

Within seconds, the beaker radiates an ethereal light, illuminating the stage with its otherworldly brilliance. It resembles the aurora borealis, a testament to the beauty that lies within the realm of chemical reactions.

"This experiment is more than just a spectacle," Sheldon speaks after a solid minute of awe. "It serves as a reminder of the profound interconnectedness of the natural world. I implore you to embrace the wonders of chemistry and appreciate the elegance and complexity of the reactions that shape our world."

The music finishes, and Sheldon caps the light. The crowd gasps in amazement and breaks into stunned applause. Even Chris is impressed by the complex chemical choreography. Sheldon takes a bashful bow.

Elsa beams at the enthusiastic response. "Judges, what did you think of Sheldon's skills?"

Penny jots notes with interest. "Incredibly detailed execution and fascinating explanation, 9/10."

Chris nods appreciatively. "Top-notch experimentation, great presentation. 10/10."

Chef grunts contemplatively. "You blew my mind, good work. 8/10."

Elsa smiles at Sheldon warmly. "Thank you for that educational display! Last but not least for Team Bass is Peter P with a poetry recital. Peter P, please take the stage!"

The curtains rise to the younger teenager dressed in a simple yet elegant attire, exuding a quiet intensity. His eyes reflect a mixture of depth and innocence as he steps to the microphone stand. Onscreen: Peter Petrelli, age 13, Talent: Dramatic Poetry Reading.

"The title of this piece is Shadows of the Phoenix."

Soft, haunting music begins in the background, and Peter sighs quietly. With a solemn yet determined expression, Peter begins his recitation of a dark yet optimistic piece of poetry, his voice resonating with a hauntingly beautiful cadence. Each word he speaks holds weight and depth far beyond his years.

"In the depths of night, darkness unfurls,
A symphony of shadows, where hope twirls.
Amidst the void, a spark ignites,
A wounded soul yearning for new heights.

Through trials endured, a spirit reborn,
A Phoenix emerges, its wings adorn.
From ashes of despair, strength takes flight,
A beacon of resilience, shining bright."

The poetry explores the complexities of life, delving into themes of struggle, pain, and resilience. His words pause at the right time, painting vivid pictures of the human experience, casting a light on the shadows that often go unnoticed. The words touch on a glimmer of hope, a sense of resilience, and the possibility of transformation.

"In shadows' embrace, secrets reside,

Yet hope persists, refusing to hide.
For every fall, a lesson learned,
A chance to rise, for the heart that yearned.

Though darkness lingers, the light remains,
A flame within, where courage sustains.
Embrace the night, its mysteries unfold,
A tapestry of stories yet untold."

His voice rises and falls, carrying the emotions of his poetry like a gentle breeze through the crowd. The audience is captivated by his ability to evoke such profound emotions with his words. They hang on to every syllable, allowing themselves to be transported into the realm of his poetry. The way he speaks; the poetry is not merely a wrap of words. He explores the depths of pain and despair but also celebrates the indomitable spirit of the human heart.

"So let us gather, young and bold,
For in our hearts, a story to be told.
Together we rise, our spirits entwined,
With strength and hope, our dreams defined.

For even in darkness, a flicker will grow,
A testament to the resilience we show.
With every step forward, we claim our might,
Transforming shadows into radiant light."

As Peter concludes his recitation, a hushed silence envelopes the area as the weight of his words lingers. A mix of admiration and appreciation follows as he bows and the curtains close behind him. An intern collects the microphone stand as a single tear rolls down Peter's cheek, and not a sound can be heard except muffled sniffles throughout the gathering. Elsa's eyes glisten with emotion as she places a gentle hand on his shoulder. Peter manages a shy bow before hurrying offstage, met with a standing ovation.

Elsa dabs at her eyes delicately. "Thank you, Peter, for sharing your gift. Judges?"

Penny wipes a tear away, smiling softly. "Deeply moving and thought-provoking. 10/10."

Chris nods solemn approval. "Pure talent and bravery, well done. 10/10."

Even Chef's gruff expression seems softened. "You got guts, kid. Keep at it. 8/10."

Elsa beams warmly. "What a stellar first round of acts! After a short break, we'll return for more amazing talents. Be back here in 15 minutes everyone!"

Day Six

5:45 PM

At the judges' table, Chris clears his throat. "There you have it for our first team. Let's have another round of applause for our Bass contestants."

Rather than raise the curtains, the six contestants simply walk out, hands held. Sheldon leads the pack with a proud look on his face. He squeezes Leonard's hand and the shorter teen blushes. Larry stands next to him, looking bashful. Annie smiles at the crowd, though her stance is military-based. Shawn chews his lower lip but keeps a smile on his face. Peter, however, looks almost resigned, like he wants to hide under his bed. The six of them bow to the audience once more and then walk into the wings.

The six members of Team Bass are sent to sit in an isolated area of the audience so as not to interfere with the generic audience appeal aspect of the competition. The next team rehearses and gets ready for their debut while the other campers socialize amid the crowd.

6:00 PM

"And now, onto our Skunks," All too soon, Chris announces as the lights darken.

Elsa beams radiantly upon the stage once more. "Welcome back, one and all! I hope you're rested and ready for our showcase's stunning finale. First up is Javier with Capoeira - Javier, sir, the floor is yours!"

Dressed in loose-fitting pants and a white shirt, Javier broadcasts confidence and strength as he bows before the judges and audience. Onscreen: Javier Esposito, age 17, Talent: Capoeira Act.

The sound of the berimbau fills the air, setting the tone for the captivating performance about to unfold. Javier takes his position in the center of the stage, his body poised and ready to unleash the power and agility that Capoeira demands. With a fluidity of movement, Javier begins to sway, his steps merging seamlessly with the music. He transitions with ease between kicks, spins, and acrobatic flips, showcasing the versatility and grace of Capoeira. Each move is brought forth with precision and control.

As the tempo of the music picks up, Javier engages in a mesmerizing game of Capoeira with an imaginary opponent. His body becomes a symphony of motion, evading and countering invisible strikes with a combination of acrobatics and agility. The audience watches in awe as he seamlessly weaves together defensive maneuvers and offensive strikes. Javier's performance is not just a display of physical prowess; it is also a celebration of culture and heritage. Through his movements, he pays homage to the rich history of Capoeira, a martial art developed by enslaved Africans in Brazil as a form of self-defense and cultural expression. He wordlessly tells a story about the essence of Capoeira's roots and its role in the fight for freedom and empowerment. The audience is drawn into this narrative, feeling the passion and energy radiating from Javier's every move. As the music reaches its crescendo, Javier performs a series of awe-inspiring flips and spins, defying gravity with his acrobatic prowess.

He wears a triumphant smile as he lands and takes a bow of gratitude in the short silence before cheers erupt thunderously.

Elsa grins with impressed applause. "Judges, your insights on Javier's artistry?"

"Incredible agility, power and natural storytelling. You are truly an artist, 10/10!" says Penny.

Chris nods. "Mesmerizing technique and performance. Well done, 9/10."

Chef applauds. "You sure can move, kid. Keep it up. 7/10.”

"Extraordinary skill and artistry, Javier! Next is drill team star Helen. Helen, sparkle for us please!"

When the curtains open, they unveil the graceful presence of a young teen dressed in a vibrant and intricately designed drill team uniform, radiating confidence and poise. Onscreen: Helen Hart, age 13, Talent: Drill Team Routine. The spotlight embraces her as she prepares the dance routine she's perfected with her school's drill team. As the energetic music begins, Helen's movements harmonize with the rhythm, each step precise and synchronized. Her body flows with grace and agility. When the music starts to intensify, Helen performs a series of intricate formations, displaying her team's precision and unity. She seamlessly transitions between formations. She twirls, leaps, and spins across the stage, her every motion deep and passionate. Reaching its climax, Helen executes a breathtaking finale, her body soaring through the air in a sequence of acrobatic leaps. She's breathing heavily as she lands in a split, but a proud smile stretches across her face.

Applause echoes as the curtains fall shut, and Elsa takes to the mic. "Thank you for that stunning display of precision and teamwork. Judges, your thoughts?"

Penny continues applauding exuberantly. "Flawless synchronization and daring maneuvers. Your passion and talent are clear - well done!" she cheers, awarding a perfect 10.

Chris nods solemnly. "Incredible athleticism and leadership. You and your team performed with excellence," granting a well-deserved 8.

Even Chef is impressed. "Not bad, kids. Sharp moves out there," offering an 8.

Elsa grins wide. "Up next is physics wizard Spencer! The stage is yours, dear - astound us!"

The next teenager enters the scene, armed with a small tray that he sets on the flat table. He's wearing a mic set. Onscreen: Spencer Reid, age 15, Talent: Physics Magic.

Whimsical music plays as Spencer dramatically unveils an ordinary-looking film canister, empty and seemingly unremarkable. With steady hands and a mischievous smile, Spencer begins his demonstration. He deftly adds a few drops of water into the film canister, sealing it tightly with its cap. He uses great caution as he sets the canister down on a flat surface, ensuring everyone has a clear view. As he steps back, a hushed silence fills the room, anticipation hanging thick in the air.

Spencer suddenly makes outrageous motions and dances to the music. In a swift motion, Spencer gives the canister a quick shake, activating the hidden forces at play.

"Behold!" He announces at once, his bold voice cutting through the music.

A record scratch, a deafening silence, and then, with a sudden burst of energy, the canister launches skyward, soaring through the air like a miniature rocket. The audience gasps in awe and delight, their eyes following the trajectory of the canister as it reaches impressive heights. The canister finally, gracefully, descends back to the ground, landing in the middle of the judges' table. Onstage, Spencer isn't finished. With the remaining three minutes of his time, he constructs a working Rube Goldberg device on stage that activates with a single ball to the crowd's applause. Through showcasing physics principles creatively, Spencer blurs science learning into sheer entertainment. Spencer takes a bow as the curtain drops.

"Thank you for that wondrous display of physics magic! Judges, your insights on Spencer's showcase?"

Penny claps halfheartedly. "Um, yay science? Sorry, kid, but I'm not so easily moved. "5/10."

"I thought it was pretty clever," Chris argues. "An 8/10."

Chef merely huffs, holding up a 7. Elsa clears her throat while Spencer leaves the stage.

"Up next is coding whiz Millie! The floor is yours, dear - astound us with programming prowess!"

Millie takes the stage with her laptop and large monitor. Within minutes, lines of rapidly typing code spring a virtual world to life before their eyes. Complex AI is engineered through her intuitive lines, eliciting awed "oohs" at procedurally generated terrains and intricate behaviors. A fully realized voxel game is constructed in mere moments, complete with puzzles for the audience to attempt solving in real-time as Millie engages their inputs with ingenious scripting. She displays coding's artistic capacity, constructing virtual worlds limited solely by imagination through procedural generation and reactive scripting. Through showcasing the limitless potential of code, Millie leaves jaws agape at her gift and passion.

Elsa smiles radiantly. "Judges, your insights on Millie's technical magic?"

"That was beautiful," Penny compliments her in a daze, granting a 10.

"Innovative," Chris agrees, giving her a 9.

"Pushed the limits," Chef nods, offering an 8. "Brilliant work, kid."

Elsa congratulates her, and she walks offstage. "Next up is sharpshooting ace Will T! Floor is yours, dear - astound us with marksmanship!"

Will enters determinedly, loading paintballs into said gun with rapid precision. When the curtains open,  there is an arrangement of targets - some dangling from above, others fixated with gears, and some in unknown positions. The teen who takes the stage is armed with a paintball gun and appropriate glasses, though he barely looks at the audience, his aura awkward. Onscreen: Will Trent, age 16, Talent: Marksmanship. A drumbeat and accompaniment bass guitar play lowly from the back as the targets begin to move, each one challenging and unpredictable. As the first target starts moving, Will's focus intensifies. With a steady hand and keen eye, he takes aim and fires. The paintball whizzes through the air, hitting the target dead center. The crowd erupts into applause, surprised by the precision and accuracy of his shot. Target after target, Will flawlessly hits his mark, his awkwardness slowly transforming into confidence with each successful shot. The audience is captivated by his skill, witnessing a display of marksmanship that defies expectations.

But as Will reaches the last paintball in his ammo supply, a moment of panic flashes across his face. Undeterred, he quickly improvises, reaching into his pocket and producing a slingshot. It's all part of the act. With a confident grin, he loads a small projectile and aims once again. The slingshot whips through the air, hitting the moving targets with astonishing accuracy. The crowd watches in awe as Will effortlessly adjusts his aim and trajectory, hitting each target with pinpoint precision. His expertise with the slingshot is unexpected, but it shows his adaptability and resourcefulness. Once all the targets have been hit, they stop rotating, and Will's act is complete. The unique performance leaves a lasting impression, and Will nods slightly in lieu of a complete bow.

Elsa nods to him. "Thank you for that astounding display of skill! Judges, your thoughts?"

Penny applauds enthusiastically. "Incredible precision and composure under pressure. Truly well done!" He receives an 8.

"Your talent and dedication are clear," Chris nods. "9/10."

Chef grins excitedly. "Now that's how you handle your weapon, kid. Good job. 9/10."

Elsa's smile is radiant. "Next up is harmonica maestro Bones! Floor is yours dear, serenade us with music!"

As the curtains rescind, the stage has been cleared of any targets or paint. There is solely a microphone on a stand and a spotlight over the Georgian teenager. Onscreen: Bones McCoy, age 15, Talent: Harmonicist. He stares out confidently into the audience and takes a moment to clear his throat. As Bones brings the harmonica to his lips, polite applause is offered for yet another talented act. But soon, jaws slowly drop open at the music pouring lushly forth from such an unassuming source. Murmurs of bewildered awe spread through the rapt onlookers, straining to comprehend how such complex melodies could flow from the small harmonica. When his improvisations spring to life amid rhythmic foot-tapping, gasps erupt at techniques bending musical limits.

A hauntingly beautiful tune soon fills the air. The notes dance and intertwine, creating a musical tapestry that encapsulates the spirit of Georgia's rich heritage. Each breath he takes seems to breathe life into the harmonica, resonating with the soulful melodies of the region. With every note, Bones channels the expressive nature of Georgian folk music. The harmonica becomes an extension of his being, his fingers dancing effortlessly across the instrument, infusing it with the raw emotions that the music evokes.

Rich improvisation springs to vibrant life, as Bones accompanies melodies with rhythmic foot-tapping kept flawlessly. The simple harmonica weaves a narrative of Georgian culture, painting vivid pictures of the landscapes, traditions, and heartfelt stories that define the region. Each melody carries the weight of history, evoking a sense of nostalgia. The teenager's passion becomes infectious, leaving audience members to feel as though they're strolling through Georgian vineyards or dancing to traditional tunes at a lively celebration. Through his skillful playing, Bones breathes life into the music. The grand finale stirs all - a dazzling display of extended harmonies played impossibly fast with consummate breath control. As the final notes fade away, the audience rises to their feet. Roaring cheers and stomping feet show gratitude for Bones' generous gift - this incredible harmonic serenade from one whose prior talent shocked all bounds of expectation. Bones grins, a bit embarrassed.

Elsa takes to the mic. "Judges, your insights on Bones' astonishing melodic mastery?"

Penny dabs joyful tears, applauding vigorously. "That was simply magical. You are an incredible talent - well done!" She grants enthusiastically with a shining 9.

Chris nods, smiling slowly, providing a deserved 7. "A true and generous artist. Exceptional work, Bones."

Chef is also touched, grinning proudly, and delivering a 9. "Now that's what I call putting real heart into it, kid. Good job."

Elsa's smile is sunny. "Excellent. Let's take a ten-minute breather, and we'll be right back!"

At the judges' table, Chris clears his throat. "There you have it for our second team. Let's have another round of applause for our Skunks."

The six participating Skunks walk onstage holding hands. Helen happily holds hands with Millie and Will, though Will looks distressed. Millie holds onto Spencer, who looks stunned at the response of the audience. Javier has his eyes more on Spencer than the others in the audience, though Bones soaks up the attention. The contestants are then herded to the same isolated section as the competitors from before.

Day Six

7:00 PM

"And now," Chris's voice cuts in soon after, "We move onto our Eagles."

"Welcome back everyone! What an amazing first round. Up next is Liv with kung fu puppetry. Liv, let's see your martial arts mastery through your handmade friends!"

Liv walks on carrying two miniature fighters carved from wood. Onscreen: Liv Moore, age 17, Talent: Kung Fu Puppetry. With lightning speed, she launches into an attack combining fluid puppet choreography and her own acrobatic martial arts. Gasps erupt as the puppets execute death-defying kicks and throw in Liv's nimble grip. When the climactic battle ends with a warrior's victory cry, the stunned audience unleashes applause.

Elsa nods at the unique talent. "Judges? That display was simply breathstealing!"

"It was cute, and it kicked ass. 7/10."

"Pretty good talent. And the winner... Liv, have you named your puppets?"

The blonde perks at Chris addressing her directly. "Yep. The fallen warrior is called Hilly, and the master is named Chris."

Hilly, a nearby intern, scowls at her. But Chris laughs, giving her a 10/10. Chef scoffs and gives her an 8 for kissing ass.

Elsa grins at Liv. "Next we have Al with boxing. Show us your moves, Al!"

Al enters, muscles flexing beneath his tank top as he hauls a puffy punching dummy onstage. Onscreen: Al Calavicci, age 19, Talent: Boxing. He bounces from foot to foot, loosening up as hip-hop beats blast from the speakers. Then with a ferocious yell, Al unleashes a lightning-fast flurry of kicks and punches onto the dummy. His combinations are delivered with pinpoint precision, thudding powerfully into the padding as his bare knuckles crack through the air. The audience watches with bated breath, awed by Al's display of strength, stamina and technique. By the finale, the dummy resembles mere fluff after Al's onslaught. Grinning and breathless, Al takes a victorious bow to roaring cheers.

Elsa whistles at the electric response. "Judges, how did Al fare in the ring?"

Penny whistles appreciatively. "Bold moves executed flawlessly, what an athlete! 10/10."

Chris nods with admiration. "Decisive combinations, masterful form. 9/10."

Chef grins sideways. "You got moxie, kid. Keep on fightin'. 8/10."

Elsa smiles brightly at Al. "Now that's what I call a knockout performance! Up next is a collaboration between Gopher, Shaun, and Dean."

The trio takes the stage, Dean with his guitar and Shaun poised at the piano. Dean is also wearing a headset mic. Gopher stands ready at the standing mic. Onscreen: Gopher Smith, age 13, Talent: Singer-Songwriter; Shaun Murphy, age 14, Talent: Piano. Dean Winchester, age 15, Talent: Guitar. At Gopher's nod, they launch into an upbeat folk song:

"Set sail at dawn's first light,
The sea air feels so right,
Rolling waves my lover's hands,
As we glide o'er shifting sands.

My rabbit scout'd the lands,
Seeking prey with ears so grand,
Through forest deep he doth roam,
Till our stew pot there is home.

The catch of fish or fowl,
Whatever nature doth prowl,
We'll feast 'neath starry sky,
Our campfire cozy hi

My rabbit scout'd the lands,

Through forest deep he doth roam,
Till our stew pot there is home.

The catch of fish or fowl,
Whatever nature doth prowl,
We'll feast 'neath starry sky,
Our campfire cozy hi!"

Their voices blend in harmony as nimble fingers dance upon strings. When the final note fades, applause erupts.

Elsa takes the mic from Gopher. "Judges, what did you think of their collaboration?"

Penny grins. "Great lyricism and musical skills, so fun! 30/30."

Chris nods. "Top-notch songwriting and ensemble work. 27/30."

Chef smirks. "You got a real catchy tune. 23/30."

Elsa is happy with the trio. "Wonderful job everyone! Up next is Keys with computer coding."

The musical trio takes their leave, but Elsa is still buzzing from their rousing folk performance.

"That was simply enchanting, thank you all! Up next is Keys with computer programming. Keys, please show us your coding skills!"

Keys saunters onstage carrying a laptop bristling with tangled wires. He powers it on with a flourish as his coding project flashes onto the projector screen behind. Onscreen: Keys McKey age 16, Talent: Software Coding. Efficient fingers fly across the keyboard, punching lines of complex syntax at dizzying speed. Onscreen, an intricate simulation springs to virtual life complete with realistic textures, physics, and AI. The audience watches enrapt, awed by the intricate digital world blooming before them through Keys' deft direction. When the final systems integration is complete, applause rips through the assembly.

Elsa beams with delight. "Judges, your thoughts on Keys' virtual creation?"

"It looked nice, but I didn't really understand," Penny admits. "6/10."

"That was some first-rate coding competence on display," Chris counters, "9/10."

Chef shrugs. "3/10."

Elsa smiles warmly at Keys. "Thank you for that digital treat! We've reached the end of our second act, everyone. After a short break, we'll start round four. See you all back here soon!"

Chris has Team Eagles return to the stage and take another bow. Once they've joined the Skunk and Bass competitors, the showcase goes on a short hiatus.

Day Six

8:00 PM

"We've seen half of our competition, folks!" Chris's voice cuts into the chatter. "Let's bring the Turtles onstage!"

Elsa beams radiantly with palpable pride. "What a spectacular showcase so far - but we've yet to witness half our talented troupe! Next is breakdancer Keith. The floor is yours to ignite, dear!"

Keith takes the floor with a quick nod to the audience as the music begins to boom. Onscreen: Keith Charles, age 14, Talent: Breakdancing. He quickly drops into fluid windmills, backspins, and headspins that flow into dizzying combos mesmerizing the hypnotized crowd. Through fluid command of his body, Keith weaves an intricate dance tapestry across the floor. His grand finale elicits shrieks with a showstopping power move: a one-handed handstand beat broken into a halospin cascade.

Elsa praises him, moving to the judges.

"Incredible talent and artistry! Such potential ahead," beams Penny, awarding a perfect 10/10.

"Athletic poetry in motion," nods Chris granting another 10/10.

"Smooth moves, kid," laughs Chef, granting a 7/10.

As the curtains draw, Elsa announces Kevin as a Catholic school pianist, and the teenager leads with a soulful classical introduction on piano, his fingers dancing nimbly across ivory. Onscreen: Kevin Ryan, age: 18, Talent: Catholic remix Singing Pianist. As the first verse starts, rolling jazz chords infuse new life into the hymn. His silky tenor emerges, caressing reimagined lyrics of hope and redemption. Guitar, bass, and drums join seamlessly, lifting the anthem upward with a soulful rhythm dancing upon church roots. As the chorus swells with vocal layering and a spirited keyboard soliloquy, toe-tapping gives way to full-bodied swaying. Young and old alike are transported by Kevin's reworking, faces aglow and hands clapping the beat. His virtuosity shines on a fiery bridge, piano, voice, and band coalescing into heavenly fusion before resolving in a climactic final chorus. As notes fade into silence, the spotlight finds Kevin beaming at new dreams awakened through sharing his gift.

Elsa praises him, moving on to the judges.

"Amazing gifts of music and partnership on display. Well done capturing hearts!" beams Penny granting her shining 10.

"Artistry to inspire many generations. Great work, son," smiles Chris granting his perfect score.

"Now that's how you breathe new life into an old tune! Nice work, kid." He grants an impressed 8.

With the curtains drawn, a volleyball net is set up with Goose on one end and JP (an intern) awkwardly standing at the other. Elsa introduces him as his name flashes onscreen: Goose Bradshaw, age 14, Talent: Volleyball. Goose and JP volley back and forth with carefree grins. Goose' powerful serves crack loudly before points culminate in spiking combos flowing like a dance. A rally prompts gasps as Goose dives, extension full to barely angle the ball for a point. Dusting off with a wink, he high-fives imaginary cheering teammates before rotating back. Through playful prowess and team spirit, the pair ignites cheers. His charm and physique dazzles the audience.

"Hot stuff,! Penny winks, granting him a perfect 10/10.

"Not bad. Mad skills," Chris nods, providing an 8/10.

Chef merely shrugs, arms crossed. He gives Goose a 4/10.

Elsa beams, "What a gift you share through volleyball's joy. Next, our personal baker Lyle - enlighten us with treats, dear!"

Lyle grins, walking onto the stage as the curtains open, revealing a mobile kitchen set. Lyle confidently walks up to a counter as a handful of interns - Harper, Kojirou, Hester, JP, and Spud - break out from the shadows with samples of the finished flaky pastries. Lyle's made enough for everyone in the audience plus Elsa and the three judges earlier. While the interns pass them out, Lyle's name flashes onscreen: Lyle Burton, age 14, Talent: Baking. Lyle whisks ingredients as fumes rise mouthwateringly from a stovetop plot.

"First we cream butter and sugar til fluffy!" As beaters mix, he grins and collects the next down the line. "Now fold in vanilla and a pinch of salt."

Lyle blends like a maestro, taking in the audience's reactions to his samples. The smiles say it all.

"Finally, scoop dough and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar!"

Lyle beams, sliding the final product onto the stovetop. He breaks out a blowtorch and mask to provide flaking perfection without needing to cook in the oven.

"Talk about baker's magic!" Elsa congratulates him around her sample amid the applause.

"This is amazing!" Penny exclaims. "10/10!"

"You got a gift, man," Chris nods, also giving a 10/10.

"That's how it's done," Chef booms, providing his first resounding 10/10. "We'll be talking later."

Lyle bows his head and walks into the wings as the curtains close and interns clear the stage. When the curtains open again, there's a single microphone on a stand. A young teen in green awkwardly stands at the front, waiting for Elsa to introduce him. Once she does, his name appears onscreen: Edward Nygma, age 14, Talent: Riddles. Taking a deep breath and tightening his grip on the microphone, he removes it from the stand and takes a few steps forward.

"Okay, let's start off easy. I have cities, but no houses. I have forests, but no trees. I have water, but no fish. What am I?"

The audience is relatively quiet, though at least Elsa murmurs with Penny and Chris. It's the peppy intern judge to guess first, albeit after a drawn-out span of forty-something silent seconds.

"A map!"

Edward nods, and his grip lessens imperceptively. "I'm tall when I'm young and I'm short when I'm old. What am I?"

There's another bout of silence, but more people are getting into it, and this time, it's Hester - an intern wearing heavy orthodontia - who speaks up.

"A candle!"

Edward nods eagerly, his torso losing some of its tension. "I'm full of holes but I can hold water. What am I?"

There's no more silence as the crowd deliberates until an unknown voice shouts, "A sponge!"

Edward applauds the participation, and the riddles keep coming. With only one minute left on the stage, he poses his most challenging test yet.

"Voiceless it cries, wingless flutters, toothless bites, mouthless mutters. What is it?"

There's a short round of chatter that quickly dies out. A hush falls over the judges' table, the audience, and even the interns. Edward is about to defeatedly answer the riddle when he hears a scoff from the front row. He zeroes in on the goth teen with birdlike features who's spent most of the show adding a layer of sheen to his black acrylic nails.

"The answer is obviously the wind."

The deadpan answer is spoken so carelessly, but Edward feels a radiant grin forming on his face, elated that the other boy has answered correctly. He confirms the response, and Elsa beams proudly to Edward, thanking him for his talent. Penny smiles when she gives him an 8/10. Chris expresses how much fun he's having, gifting him a 9/10. Chef is less enthralled, giving him a 6/10. Edward bows and walks away as the interns collect the mike stand behind the curtains.

Elsa beams proudly after him. "Thank you for bringing us together through your gift for puzzles! Our next act aims to spark hope wherever it's needed most. Doctor... please tend to your patient."

When the curtains reopen this time, the stage is transformed into a makeshift operating room. Strapped to the table is a large ragged teddy bear. A camera mounted on a drone is positioned above the chair, awaiting the doctor. As Cristina marches onstage, her name appears beneath the teddy bear onscreen: Cristina Yang, age 16, Talent: teddy bear surgery. Cristina's focused eyes glint as her brows narrow in intense concentration, acting as though the audience isn't there. Loud Metallica music kicks on from behind the stage.

"Not to worry, Snugz," she grimly states to her patient. "This is a routine surgery, but I'll have you set in five minutes."

Cristina collects thread and implements from a nearby table and gets to work. With precision, she cuts away tattered fluff, revealing internal stuffing disarray. Steadying her patient, her needle flashes in and out of fur with rapid-fire efficiency as tiny, perfect stitches quickly reunite the seam. With practiced efficiency, she begins meticulously restitching torn seams with unexpectedly gentle care that belies her standoffish air. As stuffing is neatly repacked and she's satisfied with her work, she checks the time, only to find several minutes remaining. Improvising, Cristina gingerly rolls Snugz over to assess further damages. Spying a gash in his back leg, she snips away debris and neatly repacks lost stuffing before embarking on intricate surgery to repair torn musculature beneath. Methodical and meticulous, each knot is precisely placed to maximize structural integrity yet minimize further strain upon delicate tissues. At last, with final touches mending internal lacerations, Cristina inspects her work from all angles like a military general assessing troops.

"We're going to keep you for observation, but chances are, you'll be going home soon, Snugz."

Uncustomary pride flickers beneath her scowl as the music cuts out, and Penny is standing on her feet.

"Super impressive, girl! That work was seamless. 10/10."

"Not gonna lie," Chris nods thoughtfully, "that handiwork was badass. I'll give you a 9/10."

Chef acknowledges her steady hands but gives her a 7/10 for lack of spirit.

Elsa is aglow with maternal pride in her eyes as Cristina walks away and the stage is cleared behind the curtains.

"That's another group down the hatch! Time for another ten minutes for stretching and rehearsing. Don't be gone too long, because we'll be back soon!"

Chris taps his mike. "You heard Elsa. Let's hear it for our Turtles."

Keith, Kevin, Goose, Lyle, Edward, and Cristina return to the stage to clasp hands and take a bow. Cristina lets Lyle hold her hand for only five seconds before jerking away. Edward stumbles when he finds Oswald in the crowd, nearly knocking down Goose, but Keith steadies him. The six teens are corralled into the same area as their predecessors, and everyone cuts for a short moment.

Day Six

8:50 PM

"And we're back with even more lights!" Chris announces, referring to the bonus lights directed at and around the stage. "It's getting late, but we still have two more teams to hear from."

"You heard that right," Elsa says, holding back a yawn. "We're back, and we've only got twelve more contestants to see. Now, to start Team Squirrels, let's welcome Michael!"

When the curtains peel back, new rock formations and walls have been provided. As the energetic drumbeat sets the stage, Michael bursts onto the scene with a burst of athleticism and grace. Michael Knight, age 15, Talent: Parkour. With his effortless vault onto the stage, he immediately grabs the attention of the audience, who watch in awe as his athletic form flows seamlessly between maneuvers. To kick off his performance, Michael starts with a jaw-dropping roundoff back handspring, showcasing his strength and flexibility. The crowd erupts in applause as he flawlessly executes the move, displaying his exceptional technique and control. Building on the momentum, Michael's next move takes everyone by surprise. With the agility of a fledgling superhero, he begins scaling a specially designed wall, testing his abilities in a daring display. Using every ounce of strength in his body, he ascends the wall with ease, his movements fluid and controlled.

As he reaches the top of the wall, the audience is on the edge of their seats, eagerly anticipating what comes next. With a confident smile and a fearless spirit, Michael navigates various obstacles placed strategically on the stage. His inventive techniques and clever use of props create a captivating visual spectacle. With each obstacle conquered, Michael showcases his precise landings, ensuring every step is perfectly executed. His intricate combinations of flips, spins, and jumps leave the audience in awe, as they marvel at his agility and coordination. Kitt, in particular, stares in awe, unblinking. Throughout his performance, Michael's passion for movement shines through. His enthusiasm is contagious, and the crowd can't help but be swept up in the energy of his act. They cheer and applaud, completely engrossed in his every move. As the five-minute mark approaches, Michael brings his performance to a grand finale. With a daring leap, he soars through the air, executing a breathtaking flip that seems to defy gravity. The audience erupts into thunderous applause, standing on their feet to show their appreciation for his incredible talent.

"Well, you are certainly no amateur," Elsa tells him.

"Super athletic," Penny praises, giving him an 8/10.

"Very dramatic," Chris nods, granting a 7/10.

Chef huffs, "Decent hustle. Keep practicing your form, kid." He grants a 6/10.

"Thank you, Michael!" Elsa calls as he walks off the stage.

Behind the curtains, heavy machinery moves the rocks and walls while the music is cranked up. Elsa then announces Adam's arrival, and the stage is revealed to have several jump ropes set up in specific places. Adam Bricker, age 19, Talent: Jump Rope. Adam takes center stage, armed with a rope and an extraordinary talent for rope manipulation. From the moment he begins, it's evident that he is a natural leader, effortlessly guiding the implements through complex patterns. As Adam starts his performance, his speed and fluidity captivate the audience. Each movement is executed with precision and finesse, transporting the spectators into a world of awe and wonder. The way he weaves intricate tricks together is so graceful that it resembles a mesmerizing dance, leaving the audience spellbound. Seamlessly transitioning between various techniques, Adam's performance pays homage to the skilled double-dutch sailors' games often seen at bustling ports. The ropes move in perfect synchronization with his every command, creating a harmonious display of skill and artistry. The audience is enthralled as they watch Adam effortlessly execute his freestyle combinations, marveling at the seamless flow and the creative flair he brings to each movement.

Throughout his act, Adam's rope work seems to hold a story of its own. The ropes twist and turn, creating mesmerizing shapes and patterns in the air. It's as if he is painting a masterpiece with his ropes, showcasing his artistic sensibility alongside his technical prowess. As the performance reaches its climax, Adam prepares for his grand finale. With a final, awe-inspiring move, he executes a breathtaking trick that leaves the audience in awe. The ropes seem to fly through the air, moving with such precision and speed that it almost appears as if they have a life of their own. Adam lands the trick flawlessly, his face beaming with satisfaction and pride. The crowd erupts into hearty cheers, unable to contain their excitement and admiration for this skillful camper. It's as if Adam's prowess with the ropes has been lifted straight from the deck of a majestic cruise ship, leaving everyone in awe of his talent and dedication.

"That was unexpected but not unwanted. Judges?"

"As a former cheerleader," Penny tells him, "You've got a great technique and team spirit. Wonderful showing talents!" She grants a 9/10.

"Killer job building suspense," Chris grins, giving him an 8/10.

"Slick moves, bucko," Chef acknowledges, gifting a 6/10. "Keep it up."

Adam salutes and leaves the stage; Elsa introduces Clark as JP collects the ropes. The curtains open and a faux baseball field has been set up.

Clark takes to the stage, ready to showcase his extraordinary skills in the realm of baseball. With one-man crisp fielding, he effortlessly demonstrates his prowess in all aspects of the game. Clark Kent, age 15, Talent: One-Man Baseball Game. As the performance begins, Clark's fielding skills immediately catch the audience's attention. With catlike reflexes, he zips between positions in the faux field, seemingly defying the laws of physics as he snatches line drives out of thin air. His agility and quick reactions leave the spectators amazed, as they witness his ability to make seemingly impossible catches. But Clark's talent doesn't stop at fielding. His pitching skills are equally impressive, as he takes the mound and delivers pinpoint-accurate pitches. Each throw seems to find its target with championship-level precision, leaving batters amazed and struggling to make contact. Clark's pitching abilities showcase his exceptional control and form, demonstrating his mastery of the craft.

Moving to the batter's box, Clark wields the bat like a warrior's blade. His powerful swings generate incredible force, resulting in line drives that effortlessly find the gaps in the field. The sound of the ball meeting the bat is thunderous, and the audience can't help but be drawn into the sheer power and elegance of his batting technique. It's as if he has an instinct for finding the perfect angle and timing to drive the ball with maximum force and accuracy. Throughout his performance, Clark's dedication to the sport shines through. His love for baseball is evident in every move he makes, and his skills are a testament to the countless hours he has spent honing his craft. The audience is captivated by his display of talent, cheering and applauding with every exceptional play.

"Flawless display," Penny tells him; a perfect 10/10.

"Nicely done, my man." Chris gives him a 9/10.

"Own that plate, kid," Chef tells him; an impressed 8/10.

Clark lightly blushes as he walks away, and Elsa introduces the next contestant.

"Mike's ready to impress with his gift for rhetoric. I'm already impressed from reading this card." When the curtains open, there now sits a mockup of a courtroom. "The floor is yours."

With a confident grin, Mike takes the stage, ready to captivate the audience with his enthralling performance. Daphne drops the board to the ground and effortlessly rolls off the stage with the curtains drawn shut. Elsa smiles and introduces the second contestant.

"Like a junior detective, Gus puts his senses to the test!"

Gus steps onto the stage with an air of confidence as the curtains open. "Invaluable abilities, man." Chris also presents him with a 10/10.

"Well, it's not my thing," Penny admits, revealing a 3/10.

Chris also gives an 8/10, but Chef gives her a 7/10.

As Ravi walks confidently onto the stage, his violin delicately weaves a moving melody from the video game "The Last of Us." Meredith's clear and resonant soprano fills the air, perfectly complementing the violin's melody.

Verse 1:

The clouds will darken up the sky,
And trials will come, there's no denying.
But you don't stand alone, my friend,
Have faith - this too shall end.

Chorus:

Let hope be your song when skies are grey,
Lift up your voice and just pray.
The storm will pass you through,
There is light beyond what your eyes can see.

Courage to see this season through.
Though tears may fall and fears assail,
Take comfort -  this is not the end of your tale.

Chorus:

Let hope be your song when skies are grey,
Lift up your voice and just pray.
The storm will pass you through,
There is light beyond what your eyes can see.

Bridge:

The night is always darkest just before the dawn,
So do not lose sight though shadows are long.
Cling to hope like a candle's fragile flame,
It will light your way and dry all your tears,
Stay strong.

Chorus (x2)

Let hope be your song when skies are grey,
Lift up your voice and just pray.
The storm will pass you through,
There is light beyond what your eyes can see.

Let hope be your song when skies are grey,
Lift up your voice and just pray.
The storm will pass you through,
There is light beyond what your eyes can see.

As the final notes of the song fade into silence, Ravi clasps Meredith's hand, and they bow in unison, their faces beaming with pride and satisfaction. Elsa congratulates them for their blended masterpiece, and Penny's smile is wide. Chef nods in approval as he stands and gives them a combined 14/20. Chris stands next to him, delivering a combined 16/20. Penny finally stands.

"That was incredible, you guys. 20/20."

"And that was our very first episode of Total Drama Got Talent!" Chris smiles wide. "We've got interns hard at work, calculating the total scores. Sit with the others and wait to be brought back to the stage."

Day Six

10:30 PM

"The scores have been totaled!" Chris announces onstage. "Our winning team is... Team Turtles! Rather than extra points, you will be exempt from the next challenge. And your contestant with the strongest score will receive immunity for the following challenge. With the healthy perfect score of 30/30, immunity goes to Lyle!"

Team Turtles are released into the audience, and Lyle accepts an immunity amulet from Chef.

"Second place is... Team Bass. Twenty extra points for you. Third place is... Team Skunks. Fifteen extra points for you. Fourth place is... Team... Eagles. Ten extra points for you."

Teams Bass, Skunks, and Eagles are released into the audience. Chef has the remaining two teams - Gophers and Squirrels - follow him back to the stage. Ravi and Meredith hold each other's hands. Daphne and Gus look apprehensive, and Auggie tightly grips his cane, but Jane keeps her face blank. Lucas bites his lower lip, and Anita holds onto his arm. Clark and Mike awkwardly bounce on the heels of their feet, while Michael keeps his eyes glued to the floor, and Adam stares at the microphone like it's about to offend him.

"The final team that's safe is... Team..." he draws it out for suspense. "Gophers! Five extra points added to your total score."

Team Gophers cheers and joins the rest of the audience, while Team Squirrels groans.

"Squirrels, join me at the elimination ceremony. Everyone else, to your cabins."

The crowd disperses with the flood of interns; Adam, Clark, Lucas, Anita, Mike, Michael, Wolfgang, Angie, Will G, Jason, Derek, Carlton, Crowley, Gomez, Lex, Todd, Nigel, Hannibal, and Reese follow Chris and Chef to the campfire for the ceremony. Chris reminds the team that Hannibal has immunity, so he and a chosen member of the team will be unable to be eliminated tonight.

"Who will you save?"

He smiles with crooked teeth. "I'd like to save William here."

Will roughly elbows him for referring to his full name, but Hannibal keeps grinning. Chris raises an eyebrow but then sends each contestant into the confessional - in alphabetic order - to eliminate any contestant with the reminder that if they vote for Hannibal or Will, their vote will simply not be counted.

  • Adam: I want a positive atmosphere here, but Jason is incredibly intimidating.
  • Angie: I am determined and focused on my game, but I need to vote off Crowley.
  • Anita: I'm getting a bad vibe from Jason.
  • Carlton: I need someone who knows the Constitution and musicals. Gomez is not a good fit for this team.
  • Clark: This game is so overwhelming, and Nigel... well, I don't know who else to vote for.
  • Crowley: Right, right. Imma kickin' off Reese.
  • Derek: There are some strong personalities here, but Nigel is too reserved for the limelight.
  • Gomez: This is a fantastic gathering of individuals, but I suppose for now, I'll eliminate Lex.
  • Hannibal: I believe this elimination is between those who performed today. With this in mind, I would like to eliminate Clark. I simply do not understand nor care for the American game of baseball.
  • Jason: I... am not ma... king many... friends. *holds up a sign reading Angie.*
  • Lex: I appreciate competition and intellect, but I will eliminate Anita. A slideshow talent. Really?
  • Lucas: This game is so much fun, but Angie is too secretive.
  • Michael: This is a game of knowledge, so I'm voting off one of the smartest people here: Nigel.
  • Mike: I need to eliminate whoever's most likely to eliminate me. I'm gonna vote for Lex.
  • Nigel: This is all quite bewildering, but I suppose I don't quite understand parkour. So, I'll vote off Michael.
  • ReeseAnita seems too focused on herself out here.
  • Todd: I just don't get Wolfgang's vibe.
  • Will: Know what? I'm just gonna do this by the acts, so I'm voting off Adam.
  • Wolfgang: I need enthusiasm and passion on my team, and since I can't vote for Will, I'm voting off Angie.

Day Six

10:59 PM

“You've all cast your votes and made your decisions," Chris reiterates his words from last night, "There are enough marshmallows on the plate Chef is holding for all of you minus one. When I call your name, come up and claim your marshmallow. The camper who does not receive a marshmallow tonight must immediately gather their belongings and return to the Dock of Shame to catch the Boat of Losers. That means you're out of the contest and you can't come back... Ever.”

Chris stares out at everyone, sensing that they all understand, before starting the ceremony. "Hannibal and Will, due to immunity, you're safe. Take a marshmallow. Lucas, Mike, Derek, Carlton, and Todd... none of you received a vote. Take a marshmallow. Adam, Wolfgang, Michael, Clark, Reese, Gomez, and Crowley - only one point apiece.  Gather your marshmallows."

Down to five campers remaining, suspends builds. Angie feels like she's going to pass out, whereas Anita and Jason hold each other's hands. Lex feels terrified but works hard to keep emotions from his face - but Nigel is sweating.

"Jason and Lex... there are two votes against each of you. Take a marshmallow." He waits a few seconds before adding, "You too, Anita."

The tension builds once more, and Chris cracks a wicked grin. "Nigel, Angie... looks like you're disliked equally. Three points apiece, so there will be a revote!"

  • Adam: I guess I'll change my vote to the kid who watches bugs. Nigel.
  • Angie: Obviously I'll vote off Nigel.
  • Anita: If I can't vote for Jason, I'll go for Angie.
  • Carlton: I will vote off... Angie.
  • Clark: I'm sticking with Nigel.
  • Crowley: Looks like I'm switching to Nigel. He seems less fun.
  • Derek: Know what? I'll take this as a sign and reconsider. Now, I'll vote off Angie.
  • Gomez: Hmm... looks like I am altering my vote to Nigel.
  • Hannibal: I have accessed the audition tapes. I have more in common with Angie, so I will vote off Nigel
  • Jason: I... am not ma... king many... friends. *holds up a sign reading Angie.*
  • Lex: Uh, Nigel, I suppose.
  • Lucas: Sticking with Angie.
  • Michael: Nigel is still getting voted off.
  • Mike: I think Angie would be more likely to vote me off in the future.
  • Nigel: It seems the only option here is for me to vote against Angie.
  • ReeseAnita seems too focused on herself out here.
  • Todd: I don't really get Nigel either.
  • Will: Whatever. Neither of them even did anything today. Nigel.
  • Wolfgang: I'm still voting off Angie.

"Now that everyone has recast their votes, I've got to say I'm impressed. With a ratio of 10 votes to 9, Nigel, you have been eliminated from the competition."

The British boy looks both despondent and resigned. Chris allows Hilly and Hester to go with him to his cabin, giving him twenty minutes to pack up his belongings and leave the game via the Dock of Shame. The Boat of Losers waits idly at the other end.
