"Do we have everything, fellas?
A groan came from Mark, who sat next to the window with Mike next to him, next to Mike was Cory, who just chuckled lightly as Mike smiled and rested his head on the redheads shoulder, making Mark wrap an arm around him and pull him closer.
"How many times are you going to ask us that babe?
"As many times as he wants to, jackass.
"HEY! I wasn't asking you!
Jay started laughing when Mark attempted to pinch his cheek, he made a swift move and cupped his cheek to give him a quick kiss, a bit rough but enough to make him freeze and retreat.
"Chill out babe, but yeah, how many times are you going to ask us that Jackie?
"I have to agree with our mermaid on this one, and Mark. We've checked the list like...10 times already!
"I'd scratch your chin if I could my dear samurai, but back onto the list, I just want to make sure we have everything, it never hurts to double check right?
Jay laughs at a blushing Cory before sighing.
"Yeah, but it does hurt to double check 5 times in a row! Not that it annoys us in any way of course but yeah it does annoy us a bit.
Sean rolls his eyes with a smile as they make a turn, half an hour later they finally arrive at the beach.
"FINALLY! sweet Jesus Christ, I thought we'd never get here.
Sean just smiles at Jay's words and watches him sprint out of the car and into the water, shortly after Mark follows suit but not before giving both Cory an Mike an eskimo kiss.
"See ya in the water my sweet fishies!
Mark runs up to the front of the car to give Sean a quick kiss, leaving the green haired man with a smile on his face as they watch him jump into the sea with Jay, they immediately start splashing water onto one another.
"Hey Cory, do you wanna join them?
Cory peppers Mike's neck in tender kisses, making him giggle nonstop as Sean gets out of the car to open the door for them.
"You bet my little scrub! Let's go before-
"STOP RIGHT THERE! you can go once I put some sunscreen on you.
The two men groan but don't protest as they get out of the car, Sean takes out some sunscreen and starts rubbing it on their faces.
"Careful baby! Don't get it in my mouth!
Mike bursts into laughter when Cory coughs dramatically, earning a soft eye roll from the dirty joke as Sean finishes up.
"There, now you can get in the water, just be careful ok? I'll get everything set up while you fellas are playing.
Cory and Mike give him a kiss on his cheek before running off.
"You're the best!
Before Sean has a chance to reply or return the affection, they're already jumping into the water.
So he just smiles and starts rubbing sunscreen over himself as he watches them from affar and afterwards begins setting up everything.
Today is going to be a good day...
20 minutes later-
"CHICKEN FIGHT!
The moment Jay announces the words Mark already has him on top of his shoulders, so Cory encourages Mike to get on his.
"I got you babe, you're safe with the samurai!
Mike giggles and slowly gets on Cory's shoulders, he's the only one who didn't take off his shirt and god is it great.
The sun helps a lot, it makes Jay's muscles come into light and so do Cory's and Mark's, Mike grabs onto the broad shoulders of his samurai boyfriend and presses a kiss onto his fluffy hair.
"I'm ready, so bring it on...
Jay chuckles lightly.
"Wow, when did you get so challenging babe?
Mike simply grins as they get closer to each other.
"Oh come on, you're competitive! I want to see how far I can make you go for the win.
"Don't put yourself in danger baby, last time I remember I was the cat and you were the mouse...
Cory and Mark share a laugh while Mike blushes red, he shakes his head and puts on his serious face, though the smile doesn't leave.
"Alright! Let's do this!
"That's what I like to hear!
"Now don't get too crazy up there ok?
"Yeah, Sean won't like it if there's any accidents.
Jay lightly pinches Mark's cheek while Mike gently scratches the bottom of Cory's chin, said man leans into the touch.
Sean was right, he loves it.
"Relax guys, we got this, nothing bad is going to happen alright? We're just playing a simple game of chicken fight.
After getting into position, the chicken fight begins.
After the chicken fight-
"Shit, I'm so sorry Mike, I didn't mean to do that.
Mark puts a hand on Jay's shoulder, who actually looks pretty worried as Mike rubs his head in attempt to soothe the pain.
"I'm sorry too, I guess I couldn't control my balance after all.
Mike flashes them a smile and runs his fingers through the soft sand of the beach.
"It's ok, it really is! And it's not your guys fault, I should've avoided it.
"What the fuck does that mean? Mike, I'm literally the one who-
Mike thanks God when Cory intervenes.
"It was nobody's fault ok? It was just an accident, and it's not like Sean will be mad or anything for this.
With a swift motion Cory lifts Mike into his arms, the other quickly wraps his arms around his neck and flusters like crazy as Cory takes him to Sean, Mike glancing over his shoulder to see that Mark already has Jay playing with him again.
"You good?
Mike nods into his shoulder.
"Mhm, it doesn't hurt as much as it was earlier.
Humming in relief, Cory quickens his pace and sets him down by Sean once they get there.
"Mike! What happened?
Sean inspects Mike's head since it's the only thing Mike has his hand on while Cory takes the liberty to explain.
"Well you see, we were playing chicken fight and Jay fell forward us and knocked his head against Mike's pretty hard.
"That's it?
Cory nods and smiles when Sean kisses his aching head.
"Maybe you should stay here with me and relax until the headache goes away, yes? I would like the company as well, aaaand I got some ice cold soda too!
Mike nods and leans up for a kiss, to which Sean happily leans down for.
When they pull away, Sean hands him a soda and Mike just laughs.
He's got it good.
"Well, I'm gonna go and try to make a sandcastle, you can join me later on when you're feeling better sugar cube, I'll be right over there.
Cory points out the spot, Mike nods.
"Heck yeah! I'll go when this darn headache goes away. For now I'll try and take a nap.
"See ya there then, hey Sean, could you pass me a soda please? Orange if you could.
"Sure thing love...here you go!
Once Cory has his drink he gives Sean a quick kiss, he let's it linger a bit longer than they usually are, making him smile in delight.
He flashes him a bright smile when they pull away.
"Thanks! Now let's see what I can do with sand.
Mike giggles at that, he closes his eyes afterwards and begins humming in delight when Sean's fingers start running through his hair.
"Accidents always happen don't they? I guess there's just no way to avoid them.
Mike grabs his hand and gives it a squeeze.
"This and us definitely wasn't an accident, and I would never try and avoid it either.
Sean smiles gently as he leans down again, Mike can't stop himself from blushing.
"You're such a sweet little scrub...
And then Sean kisses him, he kisses him so gently and carresees his cheek in the process, making Mike melt into it.
Sleepiness doesn't fail to rile up with that, for some reason the gentleness Sean uses gets him sleepy.
So when Sean pulls away and presses a kiss to his forehead he knows it's time for a nap.
"You should get a little tan while in your nap, what do you think?
Mike thinks about before reluctantly agreeing to it.
"I guess so, why not?
He takes off his shirt and Sean rubs some more sunscreen on his back and neck, after that, he gets back to falling asleep.
30 minutes later-
When Mike wakes up Sean is still by his side, he sits up and rubs his eyes and looks over to where Cory is with a smile.
He takes a long sip of his soda before getting up.
"I think I'm going to head over and help Cory with his sandcastle, I'm feeling much more better now.
Sean nods as he watches him start to walk away.
"Maybe you should put on your shirt first, I don't know if the sunscreen I put on you will be enough to block off the sun while you're at it.
"It's ok, I'm sure I'll be fine without it. Besides! How long can it take for Cory to tire himself out?
"Well...don't say I didn't recommend.
"I'll be fine! Promise!
"Whatever you say then.
Mike shakes his head and runs towards Cory with a giggle, he's sure he'll be fine, Sean is just overprotective.
What he didn't know was that he was going to unknowingly break that promise and get into shock with how much energy Cory truly had.
They finishing building the sandcastle first, it's not all that big but pretty admirable for them, after that Cory asks Mike to bury him with sand to which he complies.
He's careful when pushing the sand onto his body, not wanting it to accidentally get into his ears or anything.
When he's done burying him, Cory laughs happily and wiggles his toes.
"Thanks little scrub, the sand is surprisingly pretty cool to be in if you know what I mean. Hey! Want me to bury you too?
Mike declines the offer nicely by shaking his head 'no' and flashing him a smile.
"No thanks, maybe next time.
"Oh well, can't force it. Say, where did Jay and Mark go?
"What do you mean? They were in the water when I got here.
"Yeah but- well not anymore they are. I'm sure they're fine...Anyways, wanna go and get some ice cream? I'll pay!
Mike furrows his brows in confusion as Cory shakes himself out of the sand, the samurai takes his hand and they start walking to snack bar.
"Are you sure they're ok? I mean...
"Hey, they'll be fine. I know Jay and you know Mark right? They would never do something to worry us, I'm sure they'll be back when we head back to our sandcastle.
"If you say so...
Cory just squeezes his hand and Mike smiles, he lets out a sigh.
After they get their ice cream cones and head back to their sandcastle, the two of them are both surprised to see Mark and Jay casually making out by the edge of the water.
"Uhh...that's- wow.
Mike nods in agreement as he swings their intertwined hands in the air.
"Y-yeah, wow...I've never seen them so into it, they don't look like they're completely in their minds either, I mean-just look at Jay!
"Oh yeah, I can see that tongue of his all the way from here so let's go back to our sandcastle shall we?
They do just that, not before stealing one last glance at them.
10 minutes later-
They get their sandcastle destroyed by Jay and Mark, they're holding each other up while laughing their asses off as Sean gives them a small glare.
"You guys should be ashamed of yourselves, just look at you! First I catch you making out like nobody is watching and next thing I know my loves had their sandcastle destroyed.
Mark chuckles deeply, and god Sean has never wanted to slap him more in his life.
"Calm down sweetheart...w-we're sorry ok? Now can we please go back to-
"Oh NO, you are not going back to wherever the heck you guys were, we are going home.
Mike and Cory don't seem to mind that, but Jay and Mark groan and protest as they're pulled back to the car, Sean is glad to have set everything back in the trunk earlier.
"Oh come on! It's not like we destroyed anything!
Mike retorts to that as he gets into the car.
"You destroyed our sandcastle!
Jay shrugs and sits in Mark's lap, when Sean looks at them through the review mirror he can see Mike trying to stay as far away from them as possible.
They start kissing like animals, and Sean stops them when Mark let's out a loud moan.
"OK, That's enough! Calm down now or I'll leave you both to walk back home.
Mike sighs in relief when they stop, though Jay stays in Mark's lap and rests his head on his shoulder with his eyes closed.
Thank God for that.
When they get back to Sean's place, the green haired man himself takes Jay and Mark to the redheads room while Cory goes to take a shower.
As Mike waits for Cory to finish he decides to scroll through TikTok, only then does he realize his back stings when he presses it against the couch.
"OW! I must've gotten a sunburn...
Just then Sean arrives and notices the discomfort on his face.
"Let me guess, you got a sunburn?
Mike sighs in defeat, he really should have listened to him back at the beach.
"Yeah...
Because he's too embarrassed to say anything else, Sean sits next to him and lightly touches his skin.
"I warned you, but it isn't that bad, a good massage with some coconut cream should do the trick.
Sean cocks his head and smiles at him.
"Why don't you go ahead and take a shower? Then I'll give you a massage to soothe the burn.
Mike gives him a quick hug, Sean us careful not to hurt his sunburn and let's him go to get his change of clothes.
They're houses are like his by this point, and viceversa.
"Ok, thank you Sean.
"Your welcome love.
After taking a shower and saying goodbye to Cory, (because he had a video about this to record), Mike heads to Sean's room where the man already has the bottle of cream in his hand.
He pats the bed as an invitation, to which Mike gladly takes.
He lies down flat on his stomach and hums in delight when Sean's hands take action.
Halfway through the massage, Sean kisses his ear with a soft hum.
"Would you like some music to relax?
Mike thinks about it.
"Yeah, sure.
With relaxing music now playing in the background everything seems calmer, and as Mike wonders what Jay and Mark could be up to right now, he only let's 4 words slip past his lips.
"I love you guys.
Sean's heart practically melts.
"We love you too, sunshine...
And with that, Mike let's himself fall into complete relaxation.
He (and the author) thank god once again for letting them have it this good.
