“I say we lock them in a room together and see if they can't figure it out,” Alanna suggested.Sometimes all it takes is a gentle nudge, or in the case of the Lioness, a gigantic shove in the right direction. Daine and Numair’s friends get frustrated with our favourite mages not getting together and start plotting how to make it happen. Set in an alternate universe where Numair never revealed his feelings.

In a universe where Numair never confessed, his and Daine's friends are getting very fed up watching them pine for each other. They try to scheme a way to get the pair together, but in the end it's Alanna just telling them to kiss that does the trick. Chapter two and three are Daine and Numair's POVs respectively.
