Owen and his raptors before JW. From the perspective of Owen and Blue. Many employees are being easily killed by the raptors, and someone has made sure they aren’t being fed enough. Someone is secretly feeding Blue meat at night, but no one knows who. In a previous chapter, Owen was leading them to the new paddock when Echo attacked and Blue had to defend Owen. Echo is scared and doesn’t trust easily because her hatch mate was violent towards her and tried to kill her (so she had to kill her instead). Charlie’s hatch mate didn’t understand their purpose in life and stopped eating (and eventually died). Blue is afraid Owen has basically abandoned them.
