when All Might stood before him, reaching out the opportunity of a lifetime he hesitated. the path to being a hero was right before him, it was within his grasp now. but he couldn't take it. he just couldn't. so he refused.
that answer was unacceptable. All Might's secret needed to be kept quiet no matter the cost and well, if he wasn't going to join him he had to be taken care of quickly. A quirkless middle school student is no match for the number one hero injured or not. he knew he was going to die. he knew it.
it wasn't until he was helping dispose of his once beloved hero's body that the situation finally set in. All Might was dead, Eraserhead had killed him, and it was all his fault. everything was all his fault.
