Raph happily bashed his action figures together. Commercials played in the background, mingling with the faint sounds of their father’s snoring.
“Stop it!” yelled Donnie.
“Make me!” Leo laughed and stuck out his tongue.
Raph swore he could hear the impact as Leo struck a particular nerve. He sighed in the face of their middle-child nonsense. When will they ever learn?
He cast one last longing look down. Would the Grand Commander ever be able to rescue Princess Cheech?
Raph got up to put an end to their bickering before a fight broke out. It was important to de-escalate their depute in time, otherwise, he would have to explain yet again why the kitchen was on fire. Dad was not amused.
He walked past his baby brother. Mikey was coloring quietly, humming along to some tune inside his head. Why couldn’t they be more like him?
