Summary
Subaru’s first mistake, after making a gift for Beako, was not to expect it to backfire on him. He should feel happy about making her smile with minimal -to none- limb detachment. But, Beako wasn’t supposed to pay more attention to the plushie than to him!
The plushie turns out to be harder to get rid of than all the mabeasts in the manor during the sanctuary incident. At least that time the house fire worked out great.
