Akira swiftly pulled the bag closer to his body. “What gold, your highness?"
His words, even before the prince could recover from his newest bout of laughter, were underlined by an odd clanging sound that, only a few seconds too late, Akira could identify as golden coins falling out of his bag to the ground.
Akira is a very skilled thief, except for all the times he is not. Currently, he got his foot caught up in a curtain cord and is dangling upside down from the prince's bedchamber's ceiling. Prince Akechi, meanwhile, seems oddly intrigued by his presence (and less oddly: very amused).
