Rang, don't!" Lee Yeon is so worried that Rang is just next to the open door of the river.
Imoogi dropped Ji Ah and rush to steal the scale out of Lee Rang's hand but Lee Yeon immediately follow and stabbed the Imoogi.
The blade pierced from the back to the chest.
"Y-you can't easily kill me even if you hit my heart."
"I don't need to kill you." Lee Yeon didn't waste any time. He pushed Rang aside and pushed the Imoogi straight to the doorway of the river.
"Noooo!!!"
Imoogi fell alone and couldn't able to go back.
"You did it, Yeon...."
"Yes....we did it...Rang."
They hugged each other.
"Don't you ever do that again. I thought I'm gonna lose you forever if you jump there." Lee Yeon held him tight in his arms.
"You'll do the same if you could..." Rang said.
"You should've stab me while I'm holding the Imoogi so you wouldn't have suffer a lot."
"....I did that once."
"huh? You did what?"
"I... stabbed you back then. But the Imoogi inside you activated an ancient artefact that can bring back a short time period for a single use. He told me about that. He immediately hide himself inside you and fooled us that he's gone."
"How did you discovered that he's still inside me that time?"
"I'm having nightmares of that night. That day you said 'save me' but it became 'help me' after Imoogi changed what happened. It's haunting me for the past few weeks. I kept ignoring it until I noticed another changes on how you-" Rang pause for a moment.
"How I what?"
"That isn't important anymore..."
"Rang, I want to know. What did he do when he's taking over my consciousness?"
"... You're becoming violent when he took over. He forced himself to me using your body until I collapsed. He threatened me to kill Yu Ri and Soo Oh if I don't obey him."
"That's over. You can rest assured. He can't touch you anymore." He hugged him to comfort him.
They helped Ji Ah and take her to her house then they both go back to Lee Yeon's old apartment complex.
Shin Ju is there preparing food in lunch boxes in the kitchen.
"Mr Lee Yeon! Welcome back! I haven't seen you in awhile. You brought Mr Lee Rang too."
"Is that for the Russian fox?"
"She requested a southeastern dish. There's still in the pot if you want to eat. I cooked rice too."
"I'm good. How about you, Rang?"
"I'm not hungry."
"I gotta go. She's probably waiting at my clinic." Shinju took the lunch boxes with him.
"I miss this place..."
Rang sat in the crescent shaped sofa.
"Do you not want to go back in our house?" Yeon sat beside him.
"I had bad memories in there..."
"How about we both move in your apartment?"
"Yu Ri and Soo Oh are there."
"I gave Shin Ju a new house. Yu Ri will live with him soon. And it would be nice if the kid live with us."
"That's not a bad idea." Rang smiled a bit.
"At last, I saw your smile again."
They once again shared a passionate kiss.
Ji Ah meet with Lee Yeon after few months.
"It's a good day while eating lunch in this restaurant." Lee Yeon said.
"It's been a long time, Lee Yeon."
"Is there anything you want to talk about?"
She was thinking....if there's still hope for the both of them to be together again. But she decided not to bring it back.
"I just want to tell you... that I decided to move on. I want to focus on my work and take care of my parents."
"..... I have loved Ah Eum. But she died because of me."
"That's why you protected me with all your life? Because I'm her reincarnation?"
"When I found you, I thought it was the same feeling that I felt with her.... Then I realized that I did that out of guilt because a fox repays kindness. When Rang showed up, I keep denying my feelings for him. But after we reunited, we want to live together and become a family. I also wanted to say so-"
"Don't say sorry. You don't have to say that... You helped me to bring my parents back. I can't thank you enough to what you've done for me. And I'm happy now."
"Shi Ju and Yu Ri are engaged. You're invited to their wedding."
"That's nice!"
"And also...."
"Also what?"
"Rang is pregnant with twins. I'll become a father."
"....?!" Ji Ah is speechless in surprised. It does really took some time for Lee Yeon to explain it to her.
But they all lived a peaceful life.
