Oh poor reader... They were hoping that Uni would be a new start, away from their father. A place that was truly safe where they could be alone without being bothered. Well. That doesn't happen obviously.
Percy's in much of a similar situation. After Annabeth didn't return from her last quest he lost the part of him that made him truly human. His friends encouraged him to go to university, telling him that it would be a change of scenery and a place where he could get away from the gods. Nothing's ever that easy with him though, is it?
