genuinely very soul-touching. it felt like this fic reached out and cradled my soul in all its viscerality and burned me and left me with new bumps and ridges. my god. very very well written, transitions really well from a kind of peaceful whimsy and surrealism at the end of the world then rips your heart out at the reality. very well thought out as to the state of our own world too. i don't see that a lot even in games like disco elysium but it's very cool and profound to see.
