Work Text:

When Achilles came home, he saw something he‘d never seen before.
Patroclus was sitting on the couch, reading a bok, and while that wasn’t unusual,
the fact that Patroclus was wearing glasses, definitely was.
The sight was so unfamiliar to him, he couldn’t recall ever seeing his boyfriend wearing
glasses.
He frowned, confused, and was just about to say something when Patroclus looked up from
his book.
“Achilles!” He exclaimed, before laying his book on the coffee table and standing up to kiss
his boyfriend.
He was about to wrap his arms around Achilles’ neck, but the look on Achilles’ face stopped
him.
Patroclus frowned.
Achilles was looking at him in a very weird way.
His eyes were fixated on Patroclus’ face, and Patroclus started wondering why Achilles kept
staring at him like that.
Still frowning, he asked:
“Is everything okay?”
“Why do you keep staring at me like that?”
Achilles blinked.
He opened his mouth, but shut it again a few seconds later, without saying anything.
Suddenly, Achilles blurted out:
“Since when do you wear glasses?”
“What?”
Patroclus’ hands flew to the sides of his face, and when he felt the arms of his glasses, his
eyes widened.
“Shit” he said, while licking his lips, missing the way Achilles’ eyes followed the movement
intensely.
“Fuck, you were not supposed to find out like this” Patroclus said, making Achilles confused.
Frowning, he asked: “Why not?”
“What’s wrong with you wearing glasses?”
Patroclus sighed.
He shut his eyes briefly before opening them and staring at Achilles.
“There’s nothing wrong with it.”
“I just…didn’t want you to know.”
Achilles crossed his arms over his chest.
“And why not?”
Patroclus sighed again before carting a hand through his brown curls.
“Because they make me look geeky, okay!”
“I look like a nerd, but my eyes hurt when I read without them, so I have to wear them!”
Patroclus said loudly, catching Achilles of guard.
His boyfriend stared at Patroclus, eyes wide with shock.
“Patroclus” he said, softly, but Patroclus covered his face with his hands while shaking his
head.
“Stop looking at me “ he said, causing Achilles to frown again.
Sighing, Achilles gently took Patroclus’ hands and withdrew them from his face.
Patroclus sighed when he saw Achilles staring at him.
“Go on” he urged.
“Tell me what you think of it.”
He was staring at Achilles with a challenging look in his eyes.
Achilles’ eyes traveled to Patroclus’ glasses again.
“Pat” he started, softly, and Patroclus braced himself for the worst.
“Why do you think I hate them?”
“I love your glasses.”
Patroclus’ gaze snapped to his.
He was looking at Achilles, mouth open in surprise.
“W…w…What do you mean you love them?”
He stuttered.
“I look…”
“Beautiful” Achilles finished for him, and Patroclus couldn’t help gaping at him.
“WHAT??!!”
“You cannot mean that!”
“Achilles, just be honest!”
He demanded, causing Achilles to chuckle lightly.
“I am” he retorted.
When Patroclus gave him a confusing look, Achilles snaked his arms around him,
looking him deep in the eyes.
“You want to know my opinion?”
He asked, and before Patroclus could say anything, he continued:
“I think you’re very sexy.”
“You look hot as hell with those glasses.”
“Do you have to wear them every day?”
Achiles asked, voice hopeful.
Patroclus shook his head.
“No, only during reading” re replied, causing Achilles to let out a sad sigh.
“That’s too bad” he replied.
When Patroclus gave him a questioning look, he grinned.
“I was kinda hoping you could wear them in bed as well.”
Achilles said, biting his bottom lip with a little smile on his face.
At first, Patroclus didn’t understand what Achilles meant with that.
He frowned, looking confusingly at Achilles, but when his boyfriend grinned while raising his
eyebrows suggestively at him, his eyes widened in shock.
“Achilles!”
Patroclus turned beet red, suddenly feeling very warm.
He pressed his hands against his red cheeks, causing Achilles to let out a loud laugh.
“Don’t be embarrassed” he said while taking Patroclus in his arms, who was still blushing
lightly.
“I like the way you look with them.”
“You look like a sexy teacher, or a hot professor.”
Patroclus shook his head.
“You don’t mean that.”
Achilles tightened his grip before looking straight into Patroclus’ eyes.
Then he slowly leaned in, kissing him softly on the lips before pulling back and caressing his
face with his fingers.
“Yes I do.”
His eyes were still staring at Patroclus’ glasses.
“And I will prove it to you.”
Before Patroclus could react, Achilles hoisted him up.
Patroclus squealed in surprise before wrapping his legs around Achilles’ hips.
“What are you doing?”
Patroclus asked, as Achilles walked towards their bedroom with lightning speed.
“Living out a fantasy” Achilles replied, smiling cheekily upon seeing the look on Patroclus’
face.
He rushed towards the bedroom, with Patroclus’ half heartily protests in his ears.
Achilles grinned.
Oh, this was going to be such a fun night…
