Finn and Robin had been dating for two years, but that didn’t make this moment any less special. The two were sat on Robins’ couch with Finney practically straddling Robin’s lap, the latter’s arms curled around him, rubbing his back. Finney could feel the boy’s breath on his neck, sending shivers down his back which he was sure the other could feel. It wasn’t uncommon that the two would cuddle, but Finney lived with violence in every single way. Be it school or his home life, non-painful touch was positively terrifying no matter how many times he got it.
Ms. Arellano had taken a two day trip to go pick up her brother, and had allowed Robin to invite Finney for a sleepover. Finney suspected she knew about his homelife, since she never seemed too surprised to find him on her couch. But that didn’t matter now, one of Robin’s hands drifted down to hold his thigh and Finney’s breath caught in his throat. The hand didn’t move. Instead, it just sat completely still and Finney slowly pulled his head back to look at his boyfriend who quickly moved his hand away.
“Hmm?” Finney would have tried words, but he was yet to get his breath back. In fact, his whole body was tense and he was positive that was Robin’s reason behind going still.
“Is…this okay? You got really tense, I don’t wanna do something you don’t lik-” Finney cut him off by pushing his face back into his neck, hiding his embarrassment as he slowly grabbed the hand that was on his thigh, put it back, and held it there. A low chuckle emitted from Robin’s chest and Finney felt his heart flutter. Before he knew it, he was pulled back and into a gentle kiss. His hands moved to grip the front of Robin’s hoodie as the kiss continued, letting out a huff of annoyance as his boyfriend pulled back with a smirk. Before he could voice his disappointment, there was a mouth at his neck leaving soft kisses that left Finney breathless.
He could help it when his head fell forward, instinctively trying to hide his face only to be held forward by Robin who just laughed against his skin. The kisses turned into small bites and nips, before Robin was latched onto his pulse point and all Finney could think was: holy shit-
Soft, breathy whines escaped his throat and before he could think his hand was over his mouth, making a futile attempt to mute himself. Robin just reached up and gently pulled his hand away, rubbing comforting circles on his wrist as he continued to find new spots to mark. His other hand rubbed along the side of Finney’s thigh, taking note that the brunette was all but shivering. In a quick motion, Robin stood up and dumped the boy onto the couch, climbing between his legs so the younger was pinned beneath him.
Finney was bright red and let out stuttering breaths, but wrapped his legs around Robin's waist nonetheless. Within a second, Finney felt a hand back on his thigh and he let out a low whine that caught Robin off guard. Robin pulled away to study Finney’s face as he squeezed his thigh, relishing in the noises he got in reward. Noticing the smile on Robin’s face, Finney felt his stomach flip as the boy slid his hand over his stomach before coming to rest at his waistband.
“Can I- ?” Finney turned his head away and gave a short nod, only to have a hand turn his face back. His lips were captured once again in an open-mouthed kiss as gentle fingers began undoing the button and zipper of his jeans. The material was carefully slipped down and off leaving him in nothing but boxers, only then did Robin break the kiss. Finney watched as he sat back, pulled the hair tie off his wrist, and pulled his hair into a loose ponytail before leaning forward again to run his hand up Finn’s thigh. Calloused hands casually ran over scarred skin and Finn was grateful that Robin didn’t stare, although the eye contact was only serving to make him squirm even more.
Finn gripped the couch cushion as he sat back on his elbows, shivering as Robin placed soft kisses to his inner thighs before moving to open mouthed kisses. The black-haired boy eventually found a spot he seemed to like, latching on and giving the darkest mark he possibly could. Finney couldn’t hold back the noises, letting out a guttural whine only for it to turn into a low groan as he felt Robin move to his other thigh and bite down. His legs were shaking by the time Robin moved back up to his neck, licking and sucking and biting as Finney whimpered and moaned. After a while, Robin pulled back with wide eyes and heavy blush as he stared at the picture below him. Finney was less embarrassed now, though his face was still tinted pink. His lips were red from kissing and his neck and thighs could rival a paint palette with the amount of reds and purples.
Once Finney caught his breath, he pulled his pants back on just in time for the timer on Robin's phone to go off, making them both startle (Finney couldn't help but laugh), meaning that the food in the oven was nearly ready.
Fuck, we were at it for an hour?
Standing up on shaky legs, Finn followed Robin into the kitchen, grabbing a glass of water and watching his boyfriend work to pull out their dinner and move it from pan to plate. Robin broke the silence.
“I didn’t know you had a thing with your thighs?” Finn was too tired to be flustered that easily, though he did flush pink.
“I- uh…I didn’t either." A pause "Hey, about the scars-” Robin handed him a plate, walking back into the living room.
“You don’t need to explain. I won’t make you promise not to do it again, I know it’s a hard habit to break. But they looked old, so if you ever feel the urge to do that again, come to me instead?” The look Robin gave him made his heart warm and his muscles relax, he nodded.
“I’ll let you know.” They ate dinner pretty quick, brushed their teeth and changed into pajamas before heading off to Robin’s room for bed. Snuggling up to each other whispered ‘ i love you ’s as they both drifted off.

The next day, Ms. Arellano and Robin’s Uncle came home to find Robin waiting at the door in excitement, jumping at the chance to hug his uncle without waiting for the man to put down his bags.
“Hey, buddy! Hope you haven’t been having too much fun without me- huh?” He let go of Robin, only to look up at the boy awkwardly greeting Ms. Arellano. More specifically, the boys’ neck. One look at Robin’s wide-eyed expression and the warm blush he wore left Uncle chuckling.
“Well, I guess I can’t blame ya’. He seems nice, just don’t get too carried away now- ya’ hear? I’m pretty sure you boys have learned all about protection, but just to be sure-”
“Hey! You need help with your bags, mama? Me and Finney will take them back to your room!” With that, the boys were down the hall and vanishing around the corner, leaving the siblings to laugh with a knowing gaze.
