Chapter Text

It surely has been at least a few cycles now, right? Since tarn had left, there's been a deathly silence which filled the dark room. Only thing’s which gave barely any light were the little lights which glowed from computers or other bits of equipment in the medbay. But it wasn't enough. Pharma was blind in this environment, his frame heavy and hard to move.

The Doctor just laid there, shallowly exventing and etcetera. Every attempt at movement was painful so why should he try? It's not like he’d know what he's doing at that moment anyways. His mind was still numb and he was losing hope, his abdomen still revealed, energon still leaking out onto the berth. But it was now at a slower pace now thankfully.

But why should he be thankful? Why should he be hopeful? Hopeful for death? Yes, that was preferred. But nothing is clear when you are clinging to the edge.

Maybe it was time that the medic closed his eyes for a bit, wait a bit longer in silence. Maybe it was just a bad dream.

Maybe Ambulon would just wake him up from this horrible dream.

Maybe First aid was just handling everything while he was passed out.

Wrong.

Echoes of shuffling footsteps rung throughout the quiet halls, entering through the medic’s audio processors, traveling to his tired processor. It woke up that processor and suddenly the mech had become alert. Has Tarn come back? Had he come back to finish the job? Changed his mind and wanted to kidnap him for torture?

Those questions scrambled around his processor, instinct being to hide. But how?

The closer those heavy footsteps got, the more his own spark pulsed heavier than before, the noise drumming in his helm. With something running through his remaining energon, he rolled himself off the medical berth. There was a loud clank and thud which echoed around the room, accompanied with a small groan of pain.

After that wonderful landing, pharma tried to crawl off somewhere at a snail’s pace, energon pouring out from him more and more. Till he collapsed where he was, curling up. He should just stop trying to run. If Tarn decides he wants pharma’s helm, he should just let it happen… It's not like he has long. It's not like anyone would come looking for him.
