Work Text:

Denki sat next to two of his teachers, Aizawa and Mic, as the neurologist spoke. He had suffered an aneurysm during joint training and was rushed to the hospital, unable to have visitors as the doctors worked on finding the cause. The two teachers had been trying for hours to contact Kaminari’s family, to no avail. Settled with the fact that Kaminari was their responsibility, they patiently listened to the doctor.

“I’m sorry to inform you that we estimate he has a month to live,” Aizawa can feel his body go numb and Mic’s blood ran cold, “his aneurysm was caused by his quirk, which is also causing his Alzheimer’s. Due to consistent overloading, his brain’s safety mechanism was to lessen usage. Parts of his brain are already completely dead, the damage is done. His brain is breaking down quickly,”

“Is there no way to reverse the parts that aren’t damaged?! Can we prevent further damage from happening?!” Mic questioned. He glanced at Denki, noticing his stiff stature. The doctor shook his head.

“I’m afraid it’s too far gone, please accept my condolences. You would’ve been an amazing hero,” the doctor bowed and left the room for them to process. Aizawa was clutching his fists tightly, not looking away from where the doctor once sat. His eyes fogged, but he refused to cry, he couldn’t cry in front of Denki. How could he have the nerve to cry in front of one of his kids, one of his children who was just handed a death sentence.

Mic turned to Denki and hugged him, allowing the boy to weep into his chest. The older blonde felt every nerve on his face twitch in anguish, Denki was like a son to him. The two bonded over their love of American culture, pre-quirk era literature, and amazing English abilities. Mic would have done anything to heal Denki at that moment, but all he could do to ease any pain was embrace the child he adored.

Denki paled when he finally realized that he was going to die. It wasn’t exactly what he thought he’d be hearing when he woke up today. He swallowed hard as he wept into Mic’s shirt, gulping down air with vigor. He felt Mic’s heart pound against his chest, somewhat calming him down. He wanted nothing more than to go back to the dorms and cuddle with his squad. He wanted to tell them it was all going to be ok. He wanted to forget everything that just happened. Ironic, isn’t it?

Aizawa swallowed thickly and stood up, holding his arms wide. Denki left Mic’s embrace in favor of Aizawa’s, who clung to his student tightly. Aizawa felt himself hold back sobs, he never wanted to let Denki go. He softly rubbed the back of his head, allowing Kaminari to relax in his protective hold. Admittedly, Denki fell asleep standing up, warm and cozy. Aizawa carried him out of the hospital and into the car.

“Hizashi, text Vlad and tell him to gather the hero course students in the 2-A common room, and that it’s urgent,” Aizawa’s voice was breaking more and more with each word. Mic merely nodded and did as told, silently holding Aizawa’s leg to comfort him. All Aizawa could think about was how his kids would react, especially Shinso. Ever since Mineta got expelled, Shinso has been continuously followed by the energetic blonde. He even admitted to falling for him, and Aizawa smiled softly when he recounted how Shinso and he were all too similar. His smile disappeared just as quickly, because unlike him, Shinso wouldn’t get a happy ending with his loud blonde.

The drive was quiet, safe for Denki’s soft snores from the backseat. When they finally got to the staff parking lot near the dorms, he parked the car, “I’ll go in and explain everything. I’ll text you when to bring him in,”

“Sho,” Mic started, but Aizawa had already left the car. He strode over to the dorms, hearing the chaos inside. Bakugo and Monoma were fighting, probably over something the other said. He didn’t care to find out, he just wanted to get this over with so he could go to his resting quarters and cry. With one last gulp to steady his nerves, he entered the dorms. The entire room froze over when the stoic teacher entered, everybody feeling an aura of dread. Realizing his demeanor, Bakugo instantly shut up and sat down. Monoma followed his example, it wasn’t often thee Bakugo Katsuki would so wordlessly give up a fight. Aizawa made his way to the front of the TV in the common area, where both classes had gathered on chairs, floor, and couches.

“I’m sure you are all wondering why I gathered you here,” Aizawa began, “and before anyone asks, it is regarding Kaminari’s health,” both classes were at attention hearing that. Everybody witnessed Kaminari’s aneurysm thanks to the live feed during the training. It scared them all equally, they had never seen someone in such distress. They could all recount how blood poured from his eyes and mouth as his body seized and his quirk went haywire. They all could remember his body stiffening and his eyes rolling back before he crashed into the ground, his limbs flailing like crazy when his seizure started. They remember Vlad calling for an ambulance as the seizure neared the five minute mark because Aizawa was too busy trying to keep his eyes dry and on Kaminari.

“He’s ok, right?” Kirishima asked, worry clear in his voice. Aizawa felt his heart hurt, Kirishima was always such a happy and outgoing boy. Denki was his best friend, the news of Denki’s health was going to destroy him.

“He’s fine right now, but you all must be made aware of a permanent development regarding his health,” everybody nodded, “there is no point in drawing it out, so I’ll just say it. Kaminari only has a month to live,” the reaction from Denki’s closest friends was immediate: Mina bursted into tears, Bakugo clenched his jaw, Sero began to tear, Jiro put a hand over her mouth, Kirishima wore an expression of horror, and Shinso’s eyes widened. Others had varying reactions, most of them one of sadness. Vlad was equally surprised at both the news and the bluntness.

“Erasure! You could’ve eased them into it!” he scolded, comforting Pony who began to cry.

“There’s no point, the reaction would’ve been the same,” Aizawa defended before continuing, “his consistent overuse of his quirk has led his brain to enact a safety mechanism to limit his brain usage. This, inturn, has led to some parts of his brain dying. Kaminari has been formally diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and it’s growing rapidly. The doctor said that within the next month, Kaminari will lose all nerve function and memory. His parents have yet to be contacted, so it is UA’s responsibility to assure his final days are comfortable. I implore you all to spend as much time as you can bonding with him, but don’t coddle him. Let him function and aid him when needed. Even if eventually he won’t remember your names, he will sense your familiarity and be drawn to it,” Midoriya raised his hand, and Aizawa gruffed to acknowledge it.

“Will Kaminari still be continuing school, particularly hero training?”

“I have made the executive decision to keep Kaminari out of class unless he wants to join. He will not be allowed to participate in training exercises, but he is more than allowed to watch. I’ve also decided that if he does choose to stay in the dorms, to assign him an aid. The aid will be one of you, voluntarily,”

“I’ll do it!” Bakugo exclaimed, “I don’t need to be in training, I’m already in the top three of the class!”

“I want to help too!” Kirishima added, getting nods of agreement from Sero, Mina, and Jiro. Midoriya stood up, fist against his heart.

“Kaminari was my friend too, while not as close as Kacchan and the others, I still wish to help!” the class began voicing their agreements, they all wanted to help Kaminari. Bakugo began arguing, voicing that Kaminari was a part of his friend group and to stay in his lane. This caused an uproar, with Shoto and Ojiro stating that they were Kaminari’s friends and also deserved a chance to help. Aizawa was getting a headache and Vlad escorted his kids out of 2-A’s dorms. This was 2-A’s business and his students needed time to process the changes that were about to commence in the hero course. Once 2-B was gone, Iida stood up and looked at his classmates.

“We all should have a collective responsibility to help Kaminari where we can! Each one of us can be his aid for a day!” Momo nodded at the compromise, which got things to simmer down. Aizawa sighed, relieved that Iida had gotten to know his classmates well.

“Present Mic will be bringing Kaminari in, he was asleep on the car ride from the hospital. If he is awake, he may be drowsy or irritable. Please, do not prod or bother him,” Aizawa pulled out his phone and texted Mic. A few minutes later, Denki strolled in with Mic close behind. The moment he saw his classmates, he made an attempt to smile and tilted his head cutely.

“H-hey guys!” his lips wobbled as he walked towards his class. He looked at everyone as tears gathered in the corners of his eyes, “can we h-have a m-movie night tonight, please?” Mina, who was closest to him, embraced him tightly as he began to cry. She rubbed the back of his head and nodded.

“Of course, baby, any movie you want,” she replied softly, looking at her class. The whole class nodded and began crying collectively. They all gathered into a group hug and cried in one big heep.

“Classes for the rest of the week are canceled, take this time to just relax,” Aizawa said before quickly making his way to his own room. Mic followed, knowing Aizawa was going to need him there to comfort him. The class all decided that those next few days they had off, they were going to spend together. That night, they all helped cook dinner, which was all American comfort foods: burgers, mac ‘n’ cheese, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and meatloaf. For dessert, Sato baked some apple pie and lemon meringue pie. Once dinner was finished and dishes were cleaned, the class had a sleepover in the common room, made some popcorn, got some snacks and soda, and binged Denki’s favorite movies.

For ten days, everything seemed normal.

The first incident happened when Denki was looking for the bathroom while watching his class train at P.E. grounds, where they had their very first quirk assessment close to two years ago. Denki went inside the gym to use the restroom, but forgot why he had gone inside. He also forgot he needed to pee, and wet himself. When he finally realized what had happened, he went to the bathroom and cried. Tokoyami had found him curled inside a stall with a clear wet mark on his groin. He connected the dots without Denki having to say a word. He knelt in front of Denki, a small smile on his face in an attempt to seem comforting.

“Kaminari, Dark Shadow will shield you. It’s ok, come with me and we’ll get you back to the dorms so you can shower and relax,” Dark Shadow nodded and scooped up Denki, twirling around his body to shield anybody from seeing his crotch. Kaminari smiled sadly and pet Dark Shadow as they left the gym. Tokoyami whispered what was happening and Aizawa merely nodded, giving Denki a weak smile before excusing both of them. Denki didn’t look back when he heard Bakugo screaming, asking why Tokoyami was leaving with him. Denki didn’t know what Aizawa said, all he knew was that from that day on, one of his classmates would be his aid.

On day thirteen, three days after he wet himself, Kaminari found it hard to control his hands. His aid for the day was Momo and she had chosen to spruce up the dorms while everyone was in class. Denki, ever the kind soul, decided to help her. They were in the middle of doing dishes, her washing and him drying, when Denki’s grip slipped. The glass he had been drying shattered upon contact with the floor. Momo yelped in surprise as Denki looked at his hand in fear. His mumbled and continuous apologies flew from his mouth. Momo’s reassurances were just as rapid as she guided him away from the messes and sat him on the couch. She put on a pre-quirk era cartoon she knew Denki loved while she cleaned up the mess. She later told the class about it once Denki was in bed, they all made a mental note to help him when grabbing things.

Day fifteen was Shoto’s turn, so they decided to go food shopping for the class. Shoto and he were in the snack aisle when someone recognized Shoto from the second year Sports Festival, which he placed first in. They asked for a photo and Shoto obliged, posing for a minute so the excited kid could take a few photos. When he turned back around, Denki had wandered away from the cart. Shoto immediately panicked, but kept his composure as he ran down the main walkway to look down every aisle of the market. He skidded to a stop when he saw Denki in the dairy section looking at milk. Shoto’s heart sank to his stomach when he realized Denki was trying to help, but failed to remember they had already gotten the milk. He went over and put a hand on Denki’s shoulder, who turned and was about to put the milk in the cart, and froze when he saw the milk that was already in the cart. Shoto simply smiled and took the carton from Denki and put it in the cart, stating that Sato would probably need it for dessert anyway. Shoto’s heart sank even further when Denki replied with, “who’s Sato?” Relaying the information after Denki went to bed, the class collectively cried.

Day seventeen was Iida’s turn, and Denki decided to go watch the class again since he hadn’t done it since he wet himself. Iida decided that during lunch period, they would eat outside under one of the many trees on campus. He implored for others to join, and many agreed. Iida had left Denki with Monoma, who was the first to show up, so that he could grab his and Denki’s lunch. While talking, a bunch of third years came over and poured water over them. Monoma was mortified when he saw how they called Denki a worthless idiot, saying he should just die since he wouldn’t be a good hero anyway. Something inside Monoma snapped when they said that, and the blonde from class B rounded the hardest punch he’d ever done on the guy’s cheek. Bakugo caught the tail end of the interaction, watching a soaked Monoma punch a third year with such anger and resentment. The rest of the crew was right beside him, watching in awe. Monoma started screeching, scolding them for saying such things to such a kind and strong hero. Bakugo ran forward and asked what had been said, and the third years visibly flinched at the look Bakugo gave when Monoma relayed what had been said. Nobody stopped Bakugo as he lunged at the two, not even the rest of the classes, who had come out to see what was happening. Nobody wanted to help the bullies and instead comforted Kaminari, who began crying. Iida made it his priority to film Monoma explaining what had happened, so Bakugo would be spared of punishment. He also got a few punches in himself, afraid that he’d actually kill them if he channeled his rage into a kick.

Day twenty was Jiro’s turn and also a weekend. Most of the class had gone out to do their own thing, Denki encouraged them to. Jiro and he decided to listen to music for the day and relax. Jiro didn’t mind, she thought the way Denki focused on her strumming was adorable. He looked at her with puppy eyes filled with stars, humming what parts of the tune he could remember. When she began strumming ‘Hero Too’, her song, he lit up and began singing it. Jiro lit up too, singing with him. She then set up a camera so they could sing it all again, she wanted to remember this. The good vibes didn’t last long, as not even a few hours later, Denki looked at Jiro with an empty look and uttered, “who are you?” Jiro’s mind went blank, just a few hours back they had been singing together. Now, he didn’t know her name. She held back tears as she told him, and he smiled and replied, “oh, nice to meet you!”

Day twenty-two was Kirishima"s turn, and at this point, Denki was forgetting everybody. He had asked Kirishima who he was multiple times during the day, each time chipping at the manly red-head’s smile. The entire day, Kiri tried to keep a brave face. The entire class had gotten back from school only for Denki, who was watching cartoons in the common room, to turn and look at them with a blank expression. Jiro felt her gut twist when Kiri strained his smile. Denki’s head whipped around to face him and in the most oblivious tone asked, “are those your friends?” The entire class felt a crack appear in their hearts. Kirishima answered, “they are our friends, Denki,”

Day twenty-four was the first time two people watched him, Mina and Sero. The two decided to do their day together because the three of them were planning to go through old videos for a surprise video montage for the class. Some of the videos awoke Denki’s memory, some made him cringe because he was cringy, and others he just clapped and laughed at. Mina ended up scrolling through TikTok when Denki came up to her, “Mina, I don’t know if you know, but I’m going to die. And I want you to know that I love you, Alien Queen,” Mina dropped her phone and Sero felt his world break apart. Denki then turned to Sero, “I’m sorry, Hanta, I really did want to be a hero with you,” just as quick as his memory came back, it left and Denki had an oblivious look in his eyes. Sero and Mina could only weep as they retold the class what Denki had said. Bakugo sighed, his eyes sad.

Day twenty-seven was the second and last time two people watched him: Shinso and Bakugo. The two spent the entire day watching movies and hanging out. Anytime Denki relayed he was hungry, Bakugo cooked whatever he wanted. Anytime he said he needed cuddles, Shinso was by his side. Anytime he wet or pooped himself, because at that point he lost all ability to control his bowel movements, he apologized and asked for changes, they both helped change him. It wasn’t until the end of the third movie that Denki kissed Shinso and smiled, “I don’t remember if I ever confessed, but I love you,” Shinso’s heart melted at Denki’s face, “I’m sorry that we couldn’t be anything more than friends,” he then looked to Bakugo, “I’m going to miss you Kacchan, but you’ll be an amazing top hero. I know it!” Denki then cuddled up between the two and passed out. Bakugo teared up and Shinso full blown wept, that’s what the class walked in on.

It was thirty-six days, a week over Denki’s predicted month, and Denki still hadn’t died. The class was beginning to think the doctors were wrong and hope was rising in the class. Denki even began remembering more and got some proper control of his body again. It was that night that Denki, decked in a Pikachu pajama set, asked his squad and Shinso for a sleepover in his dorm. None of them rejected the idea and within thirty minutes were piled into Kaminari’s dorm. They played video games, ate snacks, talked as if the previous month didn’t even happen. Shinso even made out with him during their game of truth or dare.

Denki and Mina made sure to take a ton of videos, they were having the time of their lives. Eventually, they all settled on Denki’s bed: Kirishima was below everyone, followed by Denki, and everybody else coddled on top. Denki smiled, seeing as though he was surrounded by his closest friends, “you guys are the best things to ever happen to me, I love you all so much,” they all replied with some variant of “I love you too,” before everybody fell asleep.

Jiro woke up at around five AM, needing to pee. She looked around and smiled at all her friends, cuddling close to Denki. Her eyes widened when she realized how cold he was, he was really cold. Like, despite being cuddled by five people, he was freezing. That’s when she noticed there were only five heartbeats in the room, they were missing a heartbeat. She shakily put her jack to Denki’s chest and felt the air escape her lungs when she heard nothing. She began to pant as tears slid down her cheeks, as she sat up, stirring the others.

“Kami?! Kami! Kami!!!” she shook him. The others quickly got up, leaving just her and Kami in the bed, and seemed to realize why Jiro had begun to go into hysterics. Mina held her mouth as tears glomped down her cheeks like rivers, Sero hugged her and began crying as well, “Kami!!! Wake up!!!” Kirishima and Shinso began to sob into their hands, while Bakugo just stared at Denki’s body. He didn’t realize tears were coming down his face until Kirishima hugged him, “Kaminari!!! Kaminari!!! KAMINARI!!!” her agonized screams awoke the whole dorm. She hugged Denki’s limp body and sobbed into his still chest, “NO!!! NO PLEASE!!! PLEASE KAMINARI!!! YOU CAN’T LEAVE!!!” Bakugo knew she was going to dehydrate herself if she kept crying at this rate, so he approached her gently.

“Ears, he’s gone,” his voice was so soft it scared her. She looked at him through her tears, but refused to let him go, “Ears, come on! Let go!” he tried to pry her off, but she still refused, “Kyoka, please! Don’t make this harder!” at the use of her first name from Bakugo, she released Denki’s body. Shinso stood next to Bakugo, seemingly still dazed at the fact the love of his life just died. His sobs were quiet, but his body betrayed him. His chest was heaving and his body shook, his face was flooded with tears. Jiro got up and wiped her tears, looking at Shisno. The two were equally distraught, Jiro losing her best friend and Shinso losing his lover. The two embraced, crying together.

It didn’t take long for Aizawa to bust down Kaminari’s door and see what had happened. With tears fogging his eyes, he instructed the group of students to go to the common room. The group nodded and did as told, leaving Aizawa with Denki’s body. The teacher began to cry as he knelt beside Denki’s bedside, feeling like a failure. People were already on their way to collect Denki’s body to prepare for his funeral, so Aizawa didn’t have long to mourn his student before having to go confront his others. Meanwhile, in the 2-B dorms, Testu was texting Kirishima. The entire class decided to stay up for a movie night and just never went to sleep when Tetsu got the text. Tetsu put a hand over his mouth as tears gathered in the corners of his eyes. When Kendo asked what was wrong, Tetsu told them the news. Without a moment"s hesitation, the entire class got some form of shoes on and went over to comfort their fellow heroes-in-training.

Denki’s funeral was quiet, safe for the sniffles of his UA family. There was a brief moment of action when Denki’s parents had the audacity to show up, but Aizawa was fuelled with the rage and unchecked emotion of a mourning parent and told them to get the fuck out. The two abusers probably would’ve fought to stay if it weren’t for all the pros who were in attendance. Which many civilians who passed the funeral home thought was strange, since no actual pro had died. Heroes Edgeshot, Mt. Lady, Rock Lock, Ryukyu, Mirko, Fat Gum, Kamui Woods, Hawks, and even Endeavor were present to pay respect to the child hero who died too soon. Mina ended up playing the video compilation she and Sero had made, getting laughs and tears alike from those gathered. Just as Mina thought the final video played, another popped up. The Bakusquad collectively realized this was right before they had started their sleepover.

“Hi guys! I know this is unexpected, but it’s me! I’m sorry I kept this video a secret, Mina, but I wanted to surprise you like you’re going to surprise everyone else!” Denki smiled, “If you guys are watching this, I assume you’re at my funeral! Which, ya know, I get is sad! But, even though I’m gone, I’m so happy that I got to spend my final days with the most amazing people I’ve ever met in my life! I want to thank everyone who stuck by me, despite knowing that I didn’t have long to live! I want to thank The Lurkers, who were amazing mentors and bosses to me! I want to thank UA for giving me an amazing family, considering mine really isn’t nothing to brag about! I want to thank my senseis, who always protected and loved me! And don’t even try to deny it, Mr. Aizawa, you totally love us!” that got some snickers from the crowd, “I want to thank the entire hero course for everything they did for me! I want to thank the Bakusquad for showing me what true, die hard friendship was! I literally have a list of thanks, give me a moment,” he leaned off camera and went through a drawer before a noise of success rang out, causing him to rapidly move his head upward and making it collide with the corner of the desk, “OW!” he straightened up and rubbed the back of his head, “Geez, was my damn brain not fucked up enough?” he looks up, leading everyone to believe the question was geared to God.

“Oh God,” Bakugo rubbed his face, while Kirishima was snickering. Everybody was snickering, Denki had that effect on people.

“Ok, I legit wrote notes for everyone, so I’ll share my top ones. Monoma, you are so fucking funny dude! I don’t know why you act like a stiff around others! You’re my Shakespear buddy, so don’t forget to have a little fun! Tokoyami, you need to share your poetry with others! It’s genius and deep and emotional! Dark Shadow agrees with me, so that’s how you know you need to share it! Momo, you are like the big sister I always wanted! You’re caring and kind, but you need to work on your self-esteem! You shouldn’t doubt yourself, you’re literally the smartest girl I know! Have more faith in yourself! Shoto, I know you had a rough past, I did too! I’d like to think there was an alternate universe where we could’ve trauma bonded our first year if I had been as blunt and bold as you were about your life! I admire that about you, you’re honest and have a good heart! Keep that, the world needs more of it! Iida, Mr. Class Dad, I know for a fact you like punk pop and R&B! You need to show that side of you more often! I know you feel the need to be the one in charge, the responsible one, but you don’t! We’re still kids, Iida, have fun while you can! Midoriya, since you told me about your past, I’ve admired how selfless you are! I wish we could’ve gone to the same middle school or ran in the same circles in childhood! You sound like a total sweetheart, and still are! Since it came to light about your quirk, I implore you to not make the same mistake as All Might did! You have our class, friends who care deeply for your well being and love you! Don’t shoulder the world just because you can!”

The room was quiet, watching as Denki flipped a page.

“Those were the people I feel like I needed to publicly call out because, as you heard, they need support that I won’t be able to give them! I trust you all will help each other, so now onto my Hitoshi and Bakusquad,” Denki took a deep breath, “Toshi, I know you’re afraid of making friends. But, as someone who spent a year with these guys, I’m telling you that you need to open up! These guys will love and accept every part of you! Mina, you are my ride or die bitch! The TikToks we made, the dances we shared, the shenanigans we did, everything we did is nothing but a positive memory in my head! Keep being the fabulous Alien Queen that you are! Hanta, my prank partner and brownie buddy, the man who was the only rational one in this chaotic circle of friends, I love you dude! I can’t even count how many times we chilled in your room and read manga for hours! Or how many times we would sneak out past curfew to star gaze! I suggest you take your crush to that spot by the lake, she likes you back, ya know!” Denki winked, “Ei! The manliest man on the goddamn planet, which you always refuse to believe because Crimson Riot is the manliest man to you! You’ve gotten so brave and I’m so happy that you’re getting stronger! Just remember you’re more than a shield or a battering ram, ok?! You are more than what your quirk is! Kyoka, I know you’d never admit to being my bestie, but you damn well know I was! I ain’t going to expose you, but I do leave you with one piece of advice, ask her out! And, drop an album, you’re music rocks!” he held up his hand in a rocker position.

Sero and Mina looked at each other, shocked but smiling. Jiro was laughing and wiping her tears, while Kirishima was patting Shinso’s back.

“And finally, we have Kacchan himself! Katsuki, you’ve always been so strong, and don’t explode my casket, but you and Midoriya have similar advice. You always feel the need to shoulder so much, despite having people who can help you carry the burden. So, please, tell our friends if you need help! You are never alone, Katsuki!” Denki’s smile radiated brightly, “that’s all I have to say, but don’t be bummed if I didn’t mention you! You all should be getting your letters soon! To my classmates, my peers, my friends, look out for each other! You all are going to be the best damn heroes of this generation, I know it! No offense to the heroes now, but ya can’t blame me for being biased,” he chuckled, “that’s everything, I hope you guys watch this and know that I’m ok now. With all that said, this is Stun Gun hero: Chargebolt, otherwise known as Kaminari Denki, signing out for the last time! Plus Ultra!” he winked as he turned off the camera.

The room was riddled with crying, but they were tears of joy. It all seemed like everything was going to be ok, because Denki didn’t lie when it came to that stuff. So, even as Denki’s casket was buried, the crowd couldn’t help but smile, knowing it was going to be ok. And as the students got back to the dorms, they weren’t all too surprised to find sealed letters on their pillows. They all collectively laid on their beds, as rain patted against their windows. As the classes relaxed to the sound and continued to read Denki’s words to them, lightning would flash in the distance.
