“Oh look at this. Two little snakes hiding away in the corner,” the voice was unwelcome, interrupting the study session said two Slytherins were currently engaged in.
“What do you want?” Hermione snapped, putting her quill down gently to the side of her half-finished essay to turn her attention to the older Gryffindor standing at the end of the small table she and Regulus had claimed as theirs for the day.
“My, my Parkinson, is that any way to talk to your betters?” He sneered at her and his younger brother in turn, crossing his arms over his chest where his white shirt was rumpled and his Gryffindor tie hung loose around his neck. Hermione still missed the scarlet and gold of her old House terribly, but infiltrating the Death Eaters was highly necessary in this time, and to accomplish it she needed to be both a pureblood and a Slytherin. So, that’s what she was – or pretending to be at least.
“Of course not,” Sirius Black had been infuriating in the future before Hermione had returned here, but Merlin at eighteen he was ten times worse, “please do let me know when you see any of my ‘betters’ around, as currently there’s only you.”
A small smirk ticked up the corner of Regulus’ lips beside her as he watched her and his older brother snipe at each other out of the corner of his eye, looking to all the world as though he were entirely engrossed in his essay.
“Don't you ever get tired of being a stuck-up bitch, Parkinson?” Sirius snarled.
“Don’t you ever get tired of harassing people, Black?” Hermione did not want to be spending her Saturday evening arguing in the library with him.
“Not when those ‘people’ are slimy snakes like you.”
Regulus snorted, finally looking up, “you’d think after seven years of education here, brother, you would know that snakes are not slimy.”
“Shut the hell up, Reggie,” Sirius barely drew his gaze from Hermione to send his younger brother a glare, “who asked you?”
“Good gods, Black. What do you want?!” Hermione demanded, interrupting whatever insult was bound to fall from Regulus in response. She did not have the time for this right now, “why are you here? It’s strange to see you without your usual entourage of idiots.”
In all honesty that wasn't how she felt about Remus, but James and Peter left a lot to be desired.
“Godric, how can anyone fucking stand you?” Sirius snapped, his lips pulling back in a growl entirely reminiscent of Padfoot.
“Maybe they can stand me because I don't harass people who don't want to be bothered?” She sniped back, slapping her hands down on the table as she leant forward. She wasn't sure when she’d stood from her seat, or when her normally calm voice had risen to a shout. She didn't know why Sirius Black was able, day after day, minute after minute, second after second, to completely and utterly frustrate and infuriate her more than anyone else ever was.
“You’re fucking delusional, Parkinson! You think anyone actually tolerates a bossy know-it-all pureblood supremacist like you for anything more–”
“Mr Black! Miss Parkinson!” Madam Pince’s shrill voice cut through Sirius’ vitriol, “that is quite enough ! The library is for quiet study, not bawdy arguments! You are both banned for the rest of the weekend. If I see either of you here again before Monday that will extend to a week.”
Hermione’s eyes widened and her mouth dropped open, “Madam–” she’d been punished for a lot of things in her time at Hogwarts, especially in her first six years through with Harry and Ron, but never had she been banned from the library; her sanctum .
“That’s quite enough, Miss Parkinson. Both of you out. Now!”
Sirius just smirked, shrugged, and sauntered away from the table as though he had no cares in the world – Hermione knew that wasn't true but, Salazar, she wanted to hex his smug face right now.
Hermione gathered her books, quills and parchment as gently as she could when she was so entirely furious, trying not to take her frustrations out on the precious items. Regulus sent her a silent pitying look, but didn't say anything in response to her farewell nod as she left the room. She slung her bag over her shoulder, heavy with the books Madam Pince had very reluctantly allowed her to borrow for the remainder of the weekend.
Sirius was lounging against the wall outside the library when she stepped through the doorway. Her eyes caught on his arms when he moved to cross them over his chest, lines of muscle shifting where he’d rolled his sleeves up to his elbows to expose tanned skin dotted with moles. Hermione blinked away the flashes of lewd thoughts about what those muscles would look like in very different scenarios. She sneered at his indolent sprawl, forcibly not focusing on the way his position stretched the material of his trousers tight over his crotch, or the artful flop of his long, dark curls over his piercing grey eyes.
“Are you happy now, Black?” She seethed, unable to restrain her fury at seeing him standing there so casually, obviously waiting just to taunt her.
“What? That I got you kicked out of the library?” Sirius smirked, his deep voice goading, “ecstatic, Parkinson.”
“God, you're such a fucking arsehole, Black,” Hermione snarled. “Don't make me take points from Gryffindor for your loitering!” She twirled on her heel and stormed away from him. She wasn't going to give him any more of her time, not when there were so many more important things to be focusing on right now.
She ignored the sound of his footsteps following her across the entrance hall and down the stairs to the first basement level. She was unable to ignore him any longer when he slung his long arm over her shoulder, tugging one of her curls that had fallen loose from her tight bun, and generally getting much too close and cosy.
“You really think I’m an arsehole?” He pestered, keeping close with his arm slung over her shoulder even as she tried to walk faster away from him towards the dungeons.
“Yes I do.”
“Then why do I keep catching you checking me out, huh?” She shot him an incredulous look, but he just winked and waggled his dark eyebrows at her. A smirk pulled at his lips when he noticed the way her eyes darted there without her permission, “you can’t help yourself can you, princess? You want a piece of me.”
Hermione could deny it and argue with him as much as she wanted but he saw through her, unfortunately. Sirius Black wasn't what she’d expected after knowing the man he’d come to be after Azkaban, and that was both better and worse. Unfortunately for her, the better included how good he looked all the goddamn time. So, yes, maybe she did let her eyes wander towards him sometimes.
“I want no such thing,” she huffed, covering her real feelings with bluster.
“Your eyes say different, Parkinson,” Sirius was smirking when she looked over at him again, grey eyes sparkling with amusement, “come on sweetheart, you can let go and have fun.”
“I thought you hated Slytherins, Black.”
He shrugged and was quiet for a few moments as they traversed the stairs down to the next level. The corridor was quiet and dark, and Hermione gasped in surprise when Sirius used the hold he had on her shoulder to spin her into a room.
“Black!” She gasped when suddenly his hands filled with her backside and he lifted her so her ankles could lock around his hips, pushing her hard against the solid wood of the ancient door to the broom cupboard he’d pulled her into, “what in Salazar’s name are you doing?”
“What you want, Parkinson.”
He grinned, though it was edged with a little bit of anger as he leant down, assaulting her neck with open-mouthed kisses punctuated with sharp nips that left her unsure whether she wanted to arch into or away from him.
“Where the hell did you get the idea-ahhhh!” She cried out breathlessly and couldn't stop herself from twining her fingers in his wavy hair as she did arch into him.
“Do you want me to stop?” Sirius dropped her feet to the floor and when she frantically shook her head, he fumbled quickly to push her robes from her shoulders and hike her skirt up to expose bare legs and lacy knickers she was very glad she’d decided to wear that morning.
She wasn't sure what in her was allowing this to happen – after all she wasn't one to have quick fumbles in broom cupboards, and certainly not with people she hated half the time. But, she needed the stress relief, and if Sirius Black was offering, she wasn't going to turn him down.
Sirius sank to his knees, and she grunted in surprise when he ran a flat tongue over her knickers briefly before he slipped them down and past her ankles. He ran his long fingers over where she was already getting wet and she moaned loudly, dropping her head back against the door and tilting her hips into the touch.
He let out a chuckle, slipping one finger inside her as he rose to his feet above her, “you’re so eager for this aren't you, Parkinson?”
“Shut the hell up and fuck me, Black,” she snarled, reaching up to tangle her fingers in his hair and pull his mouth to hers as he pressed a second finger inside and curled them.
He worked her with his fingers, teasing her until she was panting into the kiss. He slipped his thumb up to strum against her clit and yanked at her silver and green tie until it was loose enough for him to rip his way past the buttons of her shirt to pinch her nipples through the thin lace of her bra.
With his fingers inside her, thumb against her clit, her orgasm hit her unexpectedly and she came undone, eyelids fluttering, a high whine falling from her lips.
When her orgasm waned, leaving her heaving for breath, Sirius smirked and spun her so she was facing the door. He nudged at her ankles commandingly, silently encouraging her to spread her legs, and she obliged.
She swallowed thickly at the bolt of renewed arousal that shot through her when she turned her head to watch Sirius yanking his belt open and drawing his zip down with a smirk thrown her way.
“Like what you see, Parkinson?” He teased, pulling his trousers down just enough to expose his long, thick dick – hard and wet with precum at the tip.
“I’d like it more if you’d hurry up already, Black,” she snapped, mouth falling open at the sudden delicious sensation when Sirius tilted her hips up a little more and pushed into her with a single hard thrust, “oh!”
Sirius chuckled in her ear, blanketing her body with his as he paused, just grinding where he rested deep in her, filling her up. His lips brushed her ear, “I’m going to fuck you hard against this door, Parkinson,” she couldn't keep in the strangled groan that slipped out, and she bit into her forearm to keep from wailing when he grinded impossibly deeper. She could feel his shark grin against the shell of her ear, and then he stepped back, dragging her hips with him, “better keep quiet if you don't want a Professor to catch us,” he crooned as he began snapping his hips in hard thrusts that reverberated in the quiet room, “fuck you feel good for a snake !”
“Merlin– fuck… don't you– ah… ever– shit… shut– right there… up?” Hermione barely managed to get the words out past the cries of pleasure she was making, muffled by the hand Sirius moved from her hip to cover her mouth.
Her thighs shook as he drove relentlessly into her. As he did, his free hand never stopped roving, digging his fingers in her hips and sliding up her spine to tangle in her curls. The familiar knot coiled hot between her thighs again, and she was really rather annoyed that Sirius Black was living up to all the hype about him.
“Go on, Parkinson,” he seemed to notice her edging closer and closer to her peak, never stopping the rhythm of his hard thrusts, “touch yourself, I can feel how close you are right now.”
He kept up a brutal pace as she moved her fingers down to rub hard and fast circles over her clit. It only took a few swipes of her fingers before she was shattering again, squealing her pleasure into Sirius’ hand against her mouth.
“Godric, your pussy feels so good, kitten,” he grunted in her ear, hot breath washing over her skin, sending it erupting in goosebumps. He followed her over the edge a couple of hard thrusts later, spilling inside her, his fingers sliding from her mouth to dig into her shoulder as he hilted himself deep in her sex. She took a moment to thank the Founders that she took her contraception potion religiously every month.
“Fuck,” he breathed once the moment had quieted, pulling free of her with a wet noise that had her blushing.
She blinked back to the moment as he tidied himself up, smirking at her as she bent down to pick up her knickers, pulling them up and smoothing her rumpled skirt back down over herself. She waved a careless hand, the silent spell cleaning them both up.
“I think you should be giving Gryffindor House points after that performance,” he said with a chuckle, opening the door she’d stepped away from, leaving her standing there gaping at the empty space before she could think of a response.
